I had just moved into the area and the switch on a ceiling fan/light sputtered with a strong burning smell. DC Electrical came to check it, and all other switches and outlets. They determined that the switch had shorted out with no additional damage, replaced the switch, and instructed me on the operation of the lights and fan remote. They were very reassuring and helpful about the electrical system, arrived promptly and completed the job quickly and professionally. I would definitely call them again, in fact they gave me a very reasonable estimate to replace several ceiling fixtures.

Excellent. I called at 8 a.m. and Craig was able to be at our house around noon. He asked me questions on the phone about how many lights were being controlled by my dimmer switch and quickly figured out that the right replacement switch needed to handle all 12 lights over the bathroom vanities (which was much higher than the burned out one being replaced). While we have been in the house now for 3 years, I had never been able to locate the switch that controlled the landscape lighting for our rock walls. Craig and I took about 10 minutes together scouting around and he was able to find in located on the back wall of the hot tub which was pretty well hidden by shrubs. He provides very good service, very reasonable prices and does a very honest job. He will be our go to guy for all future electrical work.

DC Electric showed up on time and informed me of the work needed and cost. Crew was very professional. Completed the work and cleaned up the area. This is the second time I have used this company and am very pleased with their work. I would highly recommend them for any of your electrical needs.

Two workers arrived promptly as scheduled. They performed both jobs within a couple hours. They cleaned up any mess and were very professional. I thought the price was fair. I would highly recommend these folks for any general electrical work, and will use them again.

Graig returned my call,made an appointment and was prompt. He is very personable and professional. This was the second time to have someone out for the same problem within a month. I will have him back for any other issues I have as I have rentals that always need something. He is a dog lover and that is a good thing!

Craig and his partner called me back promptly after my phone call the day after labor day then arrived one hour earlier then I expected. They were both professional and listened to my problem and answered my questions. They fixed a problem I should have been able to fix without dishing on me. I will definitely have them come back if needed.

They charged me about $200. I would use them again in the future.

Arrived on time the same day I called. Two people showed up and got right to work. Checked all the circuits in the bedroom, found the faulty, switch and replaced it,

Craig came and checked my electrical box and then discussed with me the problems. This is an old house I had recently bought. I was afraid I needed lots of work. It turned out it was just replacing a circuit breaker. He also told me that I may need to eventually replace my whole electrical box but I was okay for a few more years. I felt his cost was high but he was very prompt and quick with his work.

I just bought this home and it needed some updates and code work. I decided to use Angie's list. (Awesome choice) The actual work went well. The gentleman who did the electrical work was very professional. He also knocked all the old spider webs down (he didn't have to and there were a lot of them!) I was a little confused on the process since I haven't had the need for professional work around my home prior to this need. But I know now that you need to Call to make an appointment, they come for a look and give you an estimate, then schedule an appointment for the actual work. I would recommend this company again for any electrical work!

Craig arrived at the time promised and repaired our faulty GFI in short order. He was courteous and professional, and we are keeping his card on file in case of future needs.

Didn't get any service done w them...

I found D. C. Electric Inc. in the local book. I was impressed with a photo of his family and the fact that it was a local small business. I called Craig and he answered his cellphone right away. I explained the scope of work and he was able to give me a quote over the phone pending any unforeseen problems. I accepted the quote and scheduled the work for the following week. Craig arrived on time with all parts necessary to complete the work. His work is excellent paying close attention to cleanliness. All furniture was covered with tarps to minimize sheetrock dust. Before moving to a new room he cleaned the just finished room area. The completed project came in under his initiate estimate which I truly appreciate. I will certainly use Craig of D.C. Electric in all my future electrical needs.

They did good work, however, they called me on the scheduled morning of the job (Friday, Nov. 30, '12) and said that they needed to re-schedule. I actually stayed home from work that day for this install. We re-scheduled for the next day (Saturday) which was ok, but the owner and main person that I went over the complete install with, did not come. The work was still done well - no complaints there - I just expected the main person to be there and, the last minute cancellation cost me a days work.

They quickly and efficiently performed the work and completed it in an hour. They were friendly, professional, and skilled. It was a great experience and I couldn't recommend them more wholeheartedly.

He showed up on time, did a first class job and vacuumed/cleaned up when he was done. He was very concerned that he did a professional job. Although he charged me extra for installing a switch that was supposed to be included in his quote, he charged me less in another area. As a result, the bill actually came out slightly less than the original quote. I'll gladly use him again.

DC Electrical did a great job. They identified a possibly defective light switch, identified that the wattage of bulbs was too great, and fixed everything within an hour. It has now been well over a week since their work and we have had no problem with the en suite lights. This is the kind of contractor you dream about having when you have a problem.

Craig and Jacob were professional, punctual and efficient. They quickly found the source of our problem (a dead electrical outlet) and fixed it, offering helpful advice on how to avoid similar problems going forward. They were in and out in 30 minutes, and they solved the issue. Definitely recommend calling them.
