It was done very quickly and professionally. Couldn't ask for a better job. They responded quickly and were very courteous. Will definitely use them again.

I've used Craig a couple times. He gets back to me quickly and gives an accurate estimate before starting the work. He and his partner show up when they say and work quickly and efficiently. Very happy with the work and feel their fees are very reasonable. Would happily recommend their work.

Craig Eting removed a damaged chandeiier from our entryway in August. He came back in September to replace the chandelier after it was repaired. In addition, when he returned in September he attached a new fan to a bedroom ceiling and replaced the wall switch with a new one to accommodate the remote control for both fan and lights. Craig was very fast with both the removal and replacement as well as the new fan installation. Scheduling was no problem and he arrived on time. Everything worked perfectly, and we will certainly use him again in the future should the need arise.

They called me with an eta. And they where there before I knew it. They install them very fast and put tarps down not to damage my new hardwood floors!

.Mr. Etling and his assistant arrived 15 minutes early and I told them my concerns. I thought there was a short in the outdoor light fixture, but it turned out to be just a bad "dusk to dawn" eye. I also thought there was a short in the electrical outlet on the side of the house outdoors. It turned out the bell box was not installed properly and the GFci was now bad due to water damage from the sprinklers. There was also a problem with one of the overhead florescent lights in the kitchen. This was due to a bad ballast. Finally, one of the indoor outlets was falling out of the wall & needed to be repaired. Mr. Etling had some of the parts he needed, but not all. So while he went to get the parts, his assistant began the repairs that were doable. This worked out very well and I think everything was fixed and working in about an hour & 15 minutes. Both Mr. Etling and his assistant were very polite and professional. Everything they fixed is working as it should. I would use DC Electric again for any electrical issue.

I can't say enough good things about Craig's honesty, punctuality, excellent communication, workmanship, and professionalism. He returned my call promptly, quoted me a reasonable price over the phone, and made an appointment for a few days later. Then he and his assistant arrived on schedule after calling ahead to let me know they were on their way. They installed a ceiling light in a room that had no previous ceiling fixture and repaired a florescent light fixture in the garage. They were even nice enough to change a light bulb in our sky-high porch light at no extra charge. The work was all done in about half an hour. The garage light repair turned out to be a simple fix, so Craig's final price was actually less than his original estimate. That kind of honesty is hard to find. I would happily call on him again, and I highly recommend him to anyone needing help with electrical work.

Excellent. All the raves on Angie's List were dead-on. Craig called back immediately, scheduled an appointment, was here exactly when he said he would be. Worked quickly and cheerfully. He and Sean were professional, introduced themselves, made sure we knew exactly what they were going to do (and what our options were), and assumed we were intelligent homeowners. How refreshing NOT to have someone who begins the job with "Well, I'm not so sure. This looks like a problem. These kinds of installations are tricky, you know." Some of the reviewers say that D.C. is expensive. Maybe it is. But here's the deal: No fuss, no mess, and the job is done right. LAST ELECTRICIAN we had cut a hole in several places in the ceiling looking for a spot to put the light cans. Then said, "Hmmm, placing these is always difficult." Stuffed some junk in the holes and patched them with spackle. Left us with a lumpy ceiling. You get what you pay for. No complaints here. We'll have them back in a heartbeat if we need electrical work done again. Did I say EXCELLENT? Yep. Excellent.

The initial problem was a loss of power to the garage outlets. I called another local electrician and arranged for him to come out and make the necessary repairs. He did not show up, and it turned out he had written down both the address and the phone incorrectly. I next called Craig Etling at D.C. Electrical. Craig listened carefully to my description of the lack of power to the garage outlets, and directed me to reset a GFI breaker in the garage. Main problem solved at no cost using Craig's generous free advice! I also had some other projects that needed attention, so I set up an appointment with Craig for the following day. He and his associate Scott arrived the next morning right on time. They went to work immediately and within an hour had completed all the projects I requested help with. Both Craig and Scott were knowledgeable, sharp, fast, and friendly. We could not have asked for better service. Craig is a great electrician, but he is also a very good businessman. He maintains a website which has a FAQ section. Many small problems can be solved simply by referencing the FAQ's. I would highly recommend Craig and D.C. Electrical. We could not have had a better experience with a contractor. I will definitely call him again next time we need an electrician, and will strongly recommend him to others including Angie's List members. You can hire him with confidence!!

Craig helped me troubleshoot an electrical problem over the phone at no charge. He could have easily come over and charged a service fee but instead he took the time to talk me through an easy fix to my problem and explained other issues I might be having. I expect to give him a call back to have some electrical components installed.

We had a small miscommunication from both of us, but it was quickly resolved. Craig was here on time and did the work in less than an hour. He and his assistant worked quickly and professionally. They even cleaned up the floor before they left where some of the ceiling particles had fallen. We highly recommend DC Electric and we will use them again.

I called him and left a message. He called back and we set a time and date for his visit. On the day he called that he will be half an hour late and than he came on time. He was punctual, friendly, fast and professional. I would be happy to use Craig's service again.

Craig certainly deserves his A rating! He had to make two trips to my house as I purchased the wrong kind of overhead light fixture (commercial fixture should have been a clue). He cheerfully tackled the very difficult installation of a LED flatlight on my kitchen ceiling. I most definitely would recommend him!

I had used Craig before and was very satisfied. I wanted to change out all the lights in my kitchen but didn't know what I wanted. I called Craig and he came the next day. He made some suggestions and gave me a quote which I thought was very fair. He came the following week, was right on time with two other workers, and was done in four hours. He also changed out the speakers for my sound system. I would highly recommend D C. Electric. They are true professionals.

He was very pleasant and friendly. He was fast and did exactly what he could do. He did well. He was working on with the price and completed the work faster than he said he could do it. He was on a higher end of the estimates that we got but because of his demeanor and quick response, we went to him. I even wrote him a personal thank you note. He wasn't the lowest price but he did bring his price down a bit for us. He was responsive and punctual. He was early when he showed up for the job. I referred him to others.

It went great! The DC owner, Craig and his assistant showed up a few minutes early, and completed all of the projects in less than 1 hour! If I ever need future electrical work done, I will for sure go back to the DC Electrical company! I would give them a 5 star rating!!

I have an older house where there are too few circuits per rooms. Blow one in the kitchen and ALL the kitchen and half the living room goes dark. I blew one this morning and it would not reset. I called Craig and went to work fulling expecting to have to take some time off to meet him at the house latter. But after talking with him he just went by the house and replaced the circuit breaker and everything was working when I got off work. AWESOME! This was beyond expectations and I plan on having him upgrade that old panel in the future.

Craig responded immediately to my call and came out to give an estimate the next day. He recommended a GFI for all ungrounded outlets and a whole house surge protector. I scheduled the work and the crew came out as scheduled and completed the work. They were professional and completed the work as estimated.

I called DC electric around the holidays a few months ago. It was late in the evening and Craig, the owner, answered his phone even though he was on vacation with family. He fit us in with one of his guys the next morning and was very polite and helpful. Craig embodies old fashioned customer service which is hard to come by these days.

On time and very careful around furniture in the house. When he left you could not even tell he had been here. I had another electrician out weeks ago and he simply gave up and left.

Craig responded almost immediately using the Angie List message system which worked very well. He gave us a very fair price, showed up early, and completed the project ahead of schedule. Very satisfied and will use him in the future on electrical projects!

They did a wonderful, timely job completing everything the same day. When they ran into any issues, like having to cut access holes in our ceiling and wall, they discussed it with us beforehand. They left the pieces they cut out of the wall and ceiling to facilitate my husband's wall repair.

Craig and his assistant showed up on time and ready to go! (Actually, showed up early even!) They did a great job locating the wiring, accurately measuring and making holes for the wiring. They were efficient and quick, considering that some of the pre-wiring was missing and one of the pre-wires wasn't run properly. They ran a couple of coaxial cables down through the wall for an antenna. Craig's assistant (can't remember his name) did a great job crawling through all the tight spots in the attic & insulation to locate and drop wiring.
