Description of Work: We had three ceiling lights and an dryer outlet replaced, the entire electrical system checked out to make sure it was up to code and the circuit box breakers relabeled. A crew of three came the day after we called and worked for about three hours. They did clean work, were friendly and explained what they did. They made a point of making sure we were satisfied before they left.

Description of Work: They found an open circuit in my home and replace 1 outlet. It took them less than 15 min. to find the problem and fix it. Their work was good, but I'm on disability and I can't afford that much money.

Description of Work: Although he showed up in a timely fashion to look at the work we needed done, he is EXTREMELY overpriced. This was a very small job and as a former Electrician's Apprentice, I was aware of what needed to be done and how long it should take. The materials cost was fair at $100. However, $400 for labor is extreme, to say the least. We found another Certified Electrician to do the job for us and the bill ended up being a more than fair $150.

They began checking out the possible causes of the rather bizzare electrical problems I had been having and listened to my explanations of all that had been done by the previous electrician. They tried a couple of simple things and then gave me a number to call at NV Energy. The results was that NV Energy showed up and fixed the problem the next day! :) Craig and Bruce came back the following day to fix what I thought was a different problem and turned out to be two bad light bulbs and not electrial problem. :) They did all of this for the price of one service call. They are compentent good guys and I will use them again.

+ -1 moreCraig and his assistant, Bruce came to my home the day before to assess the work that needed to be done as I didn't feel qualified to discuss it all over the phone (and needed to point to the plug falling out of the outlet in my livingroom). I started with my necessities list and then expanded to my wish list (the under counter kitchen lights & replacing the bulb/string combo that was hanging in my walk-in closet) since the initial price was lower than I expected- so the quote went from $460 (necessary) to $945 (wish) and then increased to @$1250 (materials and labor) when I explained that I had no intention of making a trip to Home Depot for the needed supplies. So, the guys made two trips for the necessary items, picking out a bathroom light fixture that perfectly matched the other items in the room and selecting outside light fixtures that greatly improved upon, yet fit in with the HOA outside decor. So, they were in and out of my home for two days, did everything they promised to do, gave me energy saving tips, recommendations for future improvements, cleaned up after the work and charged me less than the original quote!! What can I say about work this good/professional? Being a busy working woman I just wanted to get the work done with the least hassle by non-criminals who wouldn't wreck my new home...I couldn't have made a better choice than D.C. Electrical and am already planning to have them back to replace the ugly florescent lighting in the kitchen ceiling!!
Description of Work: Installed diningroom chandelier from twenty foot ceiling, replaced livingroom receptacle, replaced entry hall and bath lights, replaced outside garage and entry lights (with ones that switch on at dark and off at daybreak), installed can light and receptacle in walk-in closet, installed 2 sets of under counter lights in the kitchen, tested all outlets in my home and installed/replaced outlet covers.
