D & L Tile Inc

Went very well from beginning to end. Steve at D and L Tile was very helpful in his suggestions on the kitchen floor tile to go with the granite we had picked out. The sub-contractors for the plumbing and carpeting as well as all of Steve's employees were on time, courteous, professional and are really good at their jobs! We are thrilled with the end result! The matching of the granite countertops with the full backsplash looks fantastic. We will definitely be using D and L for the next project of redoing the bathrooms and laundry room. Six months ago Dand L Tile tore out our old tile from our shower and around our tub deck. They replaced it with travertine tile. We recently had them come back and install marble countertops at the vanity and double sink area. They were prompt, pleasant, polite and nice to work with. Everything looks great. They were also very clean and never left any of their mess behind. They are very helpful at their store in trying to find the right tile/granite/marble to work with, although they don't push for you to purchase it there. They have remnant slabs at their yard that you can pick from and also new tile, marble and granite that you can order. If you find a remnant somewhere else they will go check it out and make sure it is the right size and bring it to their shop. I have enjoyed working with them both times and feel that they did quality work for a reasonable and competitive price. The $1,950 I posted was for the most recent work - the marble countertops.

The installation of ceramic floor tile and a glass tile back splash in my kitchen was not done well. There were many issues that needed to be corrected. They did some repairs, but the result was still sub-par. There did not seem to be a way to resolve some of the problems without taking out the entire floor. One of the biggest problems was there was not anyone checking on the work from day to day, and I don't think the person laying the tile had the necessary experience for this job. Very unprofessional!!

They did a great job, including pointing us to a good place to buy the granite, helping determine the right type and amount, and coordinating with the granite delivery. We were walked thru all work that was being done, including caveats, and excellent advice as to replacing the sink. The work was done in a very timely manner with very good results. And they cleaned up after themselves! We are very happy with the experience and the results.
