Creative Window Coverings

We found Creative Window Coverings in the Yellow Pages, after our attempt to deal with an online provider didn't work out. A number of blinds providers in Reno appear to carry only Hunter Douglas, so we were pleased to find that Creative Window Coverings carries a variety of brands, and is conveniently located between downtown and NW Reno. We visited the showroom a couple of times, got a couple of different quotes, and placed our order. We found the proprietor Gene Joustra to be courteous, matter-of-fact, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with - not pushy at all. When the blinds arrived we worked out a mutually convenient time and Gene came out and installed the blinds. We are very happy with the blinds and with our overall experience. We have good quality blinds (we have Graber Facets line, with top-down/bottom-up), we got a good price, and we got great service. We are by no means shy of making purchases online - but our experience with Gene goes to show why it can be worthwhile to do business locally. Thanks, Gene!
