Climate Master Heating & Air Conditioning

They were very fast getting us an estimate appointment and we really appreciated that. The gentleman was on time and friendly and they accepted a $25 off coupon, which we also appreciated. I'm not sure of everything he did but he determined that our 30-year old unit was unrepairable and presumably took all the information he needed to provide a quote for a new one. The receipt he left me indicated that the condenser wasn't working but when a friend came by to look at it for us, he and my husband both indicated that it WAS working. It took nearly 24 hours to receive a written estimate, which seemed a bit long. He quoted us for a 5-ton unit but the person we hired who actually installed the unit indicated that our ducts were too narrow for that size unit and that we shouldn't put anything larger than a 4-ton unit unless we upgraded the ductwork to 18". It was unclear if this was part of the quote but nothing of that nature was ever discussed with me and no options were discussed either, even knowing that we are trying to ready our home to list for sale and that cost was a concern. Their quote was not only quite a bit higher than I would have expected but it also wasn't itemized like I specifically requested that it be.

the owner of Climate Masters has just called and apologized for the misunderstanding about just getting an estimate and not diagnosing and installing our A/C. He insists on tearing up our $75. check. He and my husband came to an understanding and there are no longer any hard feelings.

Was very slow getting back to me regarding my telephone inquiry about installing AC system in our house.

This is an update to my review from last week; the provider contacted me and scheduled service. Found that a duct for the air conditioner had been improperly installed by the builder; this had not been picked up by the home inspectors when I purchased the home 4 years ago or by a prior provider. The repair was completed and the system runs fine now.

Provider did not show up for scheduled appointment, did not call to cancel, and did not call to apologize.

They guy came in, listened to the noise the unit was making, and in about 10 seconds told me what he thought it was. He was right on the money. Had the needed part in his truck and was finished very quickly. Polite, clean guy. Did excellent work.

Fast, Clean, & Thorough! I called Climate Masters and left a message, Dave called me right back and scheduled and appointment for the next day. Dave showed up on time and ready to work. He started up the systems and immediately started diagnosing the faults. He gave me the list and actually had all the parts needed for the repairs on his truck. He had our HV/AC in ship shape in no time.

The service call went very well and we will use them in the future.

Josh Rennie installed my new furnace through my home warranty company. They were very busy at the time, but they worked my job in anyway. They even let me use a portable heater until they received the new furnace. Josh was such a good worked and very professional, he had the job done in less than a day by himself. The inspector also said it was a great job. I would be happy to call them back for any job that I have in the future.

Technician arrived on time, was very curteous and efficient. Seemed to be very honest and we did not even have to replace filters.

I called on Thursday Aug. 23 and was told they could not be out untill Monday at 10:30, but if free would come sooner. Josh Showed up on time Monday morning and within a few minutes located the problem. The outside unit needed a new fan, which he did not have on the truck. He had to drive back 30 miles one way to get a new one, with no additional travel time charged to me. He returned in about an hour, and within a few minutes the unit was working. He also checked the pressure and said all was OK. He was very courteous and knowledgable. I will deffinately use Climate Master for all my heating and cooling needs in the future.

Our home warranty company sent them out to resolve the issue. The experience was fantastic; they showed up when they said they would, were professional, were in and out and the job was done. I give them all A's and will use them again in the future.

Josh called on his way and was on time. He fixed my furnace for the price. He quoted then noticed I had no dryer vent installed. He then installed one also for the quoted price.

Told me electronic air cleaners were useless and did not recommend fixing it. Was too busy to do the AC as he had other clients waiting.

They are a new company for us. Our home warranty company has a contract with them, and that is how we got to know about them. We had to pay just the copay because the work was covered under home warranty. They were very good, friendly and prompt, and the work turned out to be fine. It was a little bit more difficult than most kinds of work, and so a couple of return trips were necessary to get the problem fixed. They were responsive every time. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future, if necessary.
