When I originally called them, they said I was lucky because they were about to start a large job, and If we started right away, they could squeeze me in.So I said come on out. They did and gave me a bid of $950.00. Which I thought was a little high. But what do I know, maybe quality drywall work is expensive. They were supposed to show up at a later date. On that later date, they were a "no show",I called them several times, and eventually they called back. They said the worker who bid my job had his wife die during the night. No problem. Two people showed up a day or so later and laid a precoat of mud on the bathroom walls. They also tracked drywall mud all over the carpet. I asked them if they were going to cover the living room furniture for the bullnose repair. They said yes.As I was out of state for the rest of the repair, I was not able to speak to them. My wife however, said they did not cover anything, and when they finished, there was a nice layer of sheetrock dust all over our furniture. They told my wife to call if there was any issues. There was also streaks of blood on the master bathroom sheetrock, where one of the workers bled on the sheetrock and smeared it. Also in the master bathroom, there was a huge crack in the sheetrock from just under the window all the way to the floor. There was overspray in several places in both bathrooms. The edges were not smooth and had big gaps. The texture matching was very poor, and in alot of places it looked like the time period for the knock down was minimal,so the spackle was smeared, and did not match, even close the original texture. When I got back home a week later, I called them. I explained to them all the things that I thought need attention. He said he would get back to me. A couple of days later, I called again, he said "he was in a meeting and would get back to me" never happened. I continued to call and leave messages for the next week. No response. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They or I have heard nothing further from this company.

Showed up on time and understood my request. After looking over the project gave a good estimate. Dave showed up on time and worked hard to get the job completed so my ceiling were ready for the next step. Dave also tapes and textures, unfortunately I had already lined someone else to do that. I would recommend Capital Drywall to do any work needed for ceiling and walls.

John arrived and I explained the services needed. He took some measurements and provided me a written bid via email the next day. The bid was in the range I had estimated so I contacted John for a date the job could be performed. The following week he had a crew out. They arrives as promised, performed the work protecting all areas from dust and splash and removed all residue when finished. When they departed all that there was to do was wait for the texturing to fully dry in order to paint. They did such a good job the repair could not be differentiated from the original texture of the wall or ceiling.
Description of Work: I had demoed a section of drywall with full height (24 inch) tile backsplash and replaced the Sheetrock. Capital Drywall did the taping and texturing of the area. I had also removed a hanging lamp and they closed, taped, and textured the hole in the ceiling.
