The mice have gone somewhere else!!! Thank you Bonanza!!!

Was told that they were too booked out to make an appointment and I should deal with the wasp problem myself because no reputable pest control place would have an appointment available within two weeks. Went to Angie's List and was able to get a reputable company with great reviews to come out same day and spray. Won't attempt to use Bonanza again.

A couple months ago I noticed a I had paper wasps in some of my air ducts and along the eves of the house around my front door. I've had an issue with wasps is the past and have used Bonanza Pest Control twice to take care of the problem. Overall I’d say their service was to be expected. The second time around resulted in the extermination of several hundred wasps that died inside my furnace, rendering it unusable, which cost me approximately $200 out of pocket. I never blamed Bonanza for that and consider it an unfortunate accident. They exterminated the wasps as agreed. The most recent service, however, was appalling all around. I called them to request a service on March 15th explaining my past history and that I wanted someone to come take care of the nests along the eves and check my attic as well, just to be sure. I knew that might be more expensive, but I have tenants and needed the problem resolved. They told me they didn’t have any availability until April 28th. I was hesitant and considered calling another business given the 6 week wait, but was familiar with this business and decided to bite the bullet. We scheduled an appointment for April 28th between 2:30-3:30 pm. I immediately put the appointment on my schedule and requested the necessary time off work. Fast forward to April 27th. I noticed I had a voicemail (no missed call ever appeared, but that’s not their fault) with a date/time stamp of April 26th at 3:03pm from April who left the following message: “Hi, this is April with Bonanza Pest Control and I am supposed to come out there Friday (April 28th) to take care of a wasp nest above the front door. I was calling to see if I can come and do that this afternoon? It is about 3:00 on Wednesday. My cell phone is xxx-xxxx. If you can give me a call back that would be great. Talk to you later. Bye.” (Screenshot of transcript attached). Given that I’ve noticed the message the day after it was left and the fact that the wasp nests were still along the eves by my front door. I figured our original appointment would still take place as I never had the chance to confirm her request. I wouldn’t have been able to do that anyway as I wanted to be on site so she could check the eves in my backyard, which was locked as well as discuss how we could go about doing a thorough check in the attic to avoid the problem I had last time. Come the next day, I arrived home around 2:15pm and waited until 5:00pm and no one ever showed. Around May 3rd, I received an invoice (photo attached) for $40 indicating the service had been completed at 3:29 on April 26th, roughly 25 minutes after a April left the message ASKING if she could come by that day. I called Bonanza to discuss the issue as I still had wasp nests by my front door and my attic could not have been checked as no one was home. I believe that April showed up and took care of some nests, but my original request was not taken care of. Janice said she needed to call April to get “her side of the story” and that she would call me back. I received the following voicemail about 20 minutes later: “Hi Richard, this is Janice from Bonanza Pest Control. We’re going to take care of that $40 bill for you and the next time you need pest-control, please don’t call us. Thank you and have a great day.” (Screenshot of transcript attached) How very passive-aggressive of Janice! Fear not Bonanza… After no one showed up for our original appointment as agreed upon I had already called Terminex and arranged for an annual service. They came out last week and did a fantastic job! Long story short, you can find considerably better service elsewhere. Don’t waste your time with these guys...

Not good, they were supposed to show up to spray and never showed nor did they call even though we had an appointment. My wife works graveyard, had worked all night and stayed up all afternoon waiting for them, needless to say she was very unhappy with them to say the least. Then we ended up throwing out a bunch of food over the weekend because ants that they were supposed to spray for got into and ruined about $200 worth of food. Not happy with them at all !!

Horrible experience due to totally ignorant office staff. Office staff instructed us to remove all contents of our home, just as if we were moving. They said to bag and box everything including contents of the kitchen cabinets. I questioned the instructions and spoke to a different person who gave me the same incorrect information. So we did exactly that spending hundreds of dollars, taking emergency leave from work/business, and working ourselves to near exhaustion. When exterminator arrived she explained that all we should have done is strip the bed, empty out the contents of the dresser, and wash everything thoroughly. She admitted that it wasn't the first time office staff had given incorrect instructions. We still got charged full price. Had I totally screwed a client like that, I would have had the decency to at least offer a discount or just do the work for free.

The technician was on time, professional, courteous and took the time to explain everything to me. I have had one other company spray for pests and they seemed to be completely annoyed by my presence, wanted to get in, out and on to the next job. Bonanza was the opposite and I have had much better results with their spray as I have seen no pests since they showed up.

Professional, efficient, and comprehensive. Sprayed the exterior of our home (to include plants/trees) for spiders, spider mites, and other invasive insects. Spot sprayed interior of home. The spray used is not harmful to pets (once dried). Supposedly good for a year against pests.

Last year I fought the ants in the kitchen for the entire spring/summer. I would seem to beat them back for a while, but if I ever went on vacation, they would take over again. This year I decided to try an exterminator. I called Terminix first, but they gave me such a complicated option involving contracts and longterm agreements. I told them I thought I would call somebody with whom I could make a more straightforward deal. So I called Bonanza. The woman on the phone was very nice. She said they were busy and couldn't come for a couple of weeks, I whined and she kindly scheduled the appointment sooner. When the exterminator came (a little late, but remember that I was a squeeze-in), he discussed the options with me: inside or out, or both, what kind of pests, etc. He explained that due to the warm winters, ants just didn't go away seasonally like they used to. He said that just spraying outside might not do the job, but since that was my preference, he'd do it that way and give me a lesser rate if he needed to return. He sprayed for some time, and I haven't seen an ant in my kitchen since. I think it may be the best $70 I ever spent.

This guy was really nice. He was prompt. I don't like to kill things but with gophers you don't have a choice. We do have a lot of bald eagles where we live and I don't want any og them eating a dead gopher that has been poisoned. He switched my worry on that point.

The people at Bonanza Pest are very friendly, honest, reliable, knowledgeable and easy to work with. I have used them in the past and been very pleased.

This is my second experience with Bonanza Pest. I was very pleased with the result.

Checked everything out. Everything was professional. They looked up in the attic with a flash light, Looked on the roof. He never walked on the roof. He checked in the yard and the back. Its as much as anybody would do for 150$. They were professional looked at everything.

It went wonderfully. When I called I described the types of bugs we had at our new house the person on the phone knew exactly what kind of bug it was (a box elder beetle) and asked if we had any maple trees because that is where they like to eat (we have 3). It took a little while to get to us (about a week) but I was told about it and was fine with it. The technician Steve showed up on time, saw immediately what the problem was and discussed what would be done. Every question I had was answered and they made me feel very comfortable. When I mentioned my garden he knew how each plant reacted to the spray and said he would spray around it to make sure the veggies were still safe.

They guarantee their work and are truly delightful. They are prompt and pleasant. There is a reason they are number one on this site!

Excellent and Excellent. The office staff was very upbeat and professional. Richard was amazing! Second time using his company and I am all smiley and happy. Not only did he show up prompt but he did an awesome job. He showed up with a helper who was also very friendly. Since using Richard these past 2 seasons I have not had an insect problem. I will definitely use this company again in the future! Very Happy Customer!

It went excellent. We haven't seen an ant or any other insect for that matter since they sprayed. He even sprayed trees outside that he said draw the bugs. We were very pleasantly surprised with the service and the price. We would most definitely use them again.

Bonanza Pest Control did an excellent job in checking my house for termites, including the crawl space under the house. Termites were found in one area, and Bonanza's treatment took care of the problem. We found the Bonanza staff to be polite, professional and effective. No question we will use Bonanza in the future if we have a pest problem.

So far, so good! The little buggers haven't come back!

I called and spoke to Patti, she was very nice and said her daughter would be out on the 14th of April to spray house and yard. Her daughter was on time and very nice to talk to. She sprayed the yard around the house and sprayed indoors. The odor was gone within an hour. I did have to call them back a week later because I was still getting the beetles and she came back and sprayed under the house. That worked but FYI, if they do spray under the house, I'd recommend leaving the house for awhile because the odor was a lot stronger. I've not seen any bugs since.

Patti (Owner) helped me with the original appointment; very friendly, courteous and helpful. Was able to schedule an appointment within 5 days of my call. EXCELLENT!! Richard (Tech and Owner) came to the house at the scheduled date / time. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. He took the time to explain how mice get into the house and move around, and checked the house for entry points. He explained each step while he baited and set traps (including going under the house). Since we have dogs, he made sure that the bait put down was not accessible to them. At the end of the visit, he could not emphasize enough that if we had further problems or ANY questions, to CALL RIGHT AWAY so he could help us. I would absolutely recommend Bonanza Pest Control and will certainly use them again if needed.

Richard came by the house several times to make sure he was able to assess the complete extent of the termite problem. Despite his multiple trips he only charged me a very low fee for his treatment, in addition to sending one of his employees to do a pre-treatment as the damage was remediated. I not only would recommend this firm, but I am definitely having him come back when the weather gets warmer to do a general treatment around the outside of the house to eradicate spiders and other bugs that seem to thrive in summer. He works hard, for a fair price, he came over at a moments notice because he was coordinating with my contractor. His wife is a sweetheart as well and they don't work just 9 to 5. He came over at 7 p.m. one night to complete the treatment so the contractor could continue his work in the morning. Richard and Patti are like having a friend or relative in the business and they give all their customers the same service they would give their own kids. Great company, great job, great people. On top of it all, Richard is extremely knowledgeable about his work and passionate as well. He's not a pest control man...he's a man on a mission. Thank you Richard and Patti for all your hard work and taking such good care of us. ANY HOMEOWNER CANNOT GO WRONG HIRING BONANZA PEST CONTROL.

From the first phone call untilSteve, the serviceman, left, this was simply the best service I have ever experienced...PERIOD. The very pleasant lady my wife talked with was so nice, so concerned with our ant problems, estimated a cost of $140 for our house, yard, trees....everything on our quarter acre lot in Dayton. Bonanza had a job in Yerinton on March 7, and they would service our problem later the same day. Steve showed up right on time and after short introductions and a look-see inspection, started the sprayer, ran a hose in the front door and proceeded straight to the basement. He was there almost an hour...our house is approximately 1800 square feet in size. Next he sprayed our rather large yard...it is completly grass, both fron the rear, the trees, a few wasp nests in the eves, and completly around the exterior of the house. He then sprayed completly around the interior of our two car garage. The final spraying was done inside the house with a large hand held spray...he sprayed around 100 of the baseboards...behind shelves, not missing a thing. After three hours, he was finished, asked if there was anthing else we needed and presented the bill for $130...we received a $10 discount for being a first time customer. Since he used seventy-five gallons of pesticide, we expected a much higher bill thinking they probably misjudged the size of our yard and the amont of grass. To be honest, we were floored!!! I'm seventy-eight years old, owned several businesses, contracted for many services but none compare to the customer service I received from Bonanza...I intend to more than recommend them...I intend to bring this company to the attention of all my friends and family.....it would simply be crazy not to use them!! And the ants parading in our kitchen, dining room, living room, and guest batchroom......they've joined their kinfolks out in garage in the Happy Hunting Ground......not a one insight...Awesome!!!! By the way, Steve told me that Richard, their owner, did not do contracts...if this job is done right the first time, you probably won't need them again until4-6 month, if at all...said to call them if and when we have a problem. Bonanza guarantees the work for 30 days and Steve says just to call if these ants return in a month...they will come back to Dayton, fix it, no questions asked!!! Instead of offering to spray every few weeks outside, Bonanza gave us some "ant dust" to sprinkle at all the points the ants were coming in under he new floor. Additonally, she sprayed thoroughly around the house and even parts of the garage to get ants, spiders, etc. Within 1 week the ants were gone and have not returned even during the winter months. Superb service, knowledgeable and prompt all at a reasonable price. One can't ask for anything more from a vendor.

I did not actually have them come out because my landlord has somebody that he uses. But however he was great to talk to because they walked me through what they thought my needs were. I didn't actually use them, but I would use them if I weren't renting. They did not come out and give me an estimate he just kind of told me what he thought my issues were with the bugs that we were looking at here in the house So I felt pretty, I was pretty confident with the information that they gave me and how to kind of handle the situation on my own with the information that they gave me. I was able to kind of remedy some of the situation. I looked them up that day, they called me back that day and walked me through it. I told them I had to talk to my landlord to see if I could have somebody come out. And he said no problem if you have any other issues give us a call and we will be happy to help you. They were wonderful. My neighbor has used them, I saw them over there. That's where I got the name. I wanted to look them up on Angie's List before I called them. They were very honest and kind of forthcoming with information. Sometimes people do that. They were very helpful.
