We had to delay the project because the construction wasn't completed yet. They did a nice job of working with us on our timeline. They did a nice job with installing the hardwood flooring. That is what they specialize in. They worked with us as we put in the heated flooring. I would use them if all you are doing is installing hardwood flooring or carpet. They did not do a good job on the baseboards. It seemed they were in a hurry. The joints don't match up, they used baseboards that were broken when they could have used baseboards that were not damaged. This caused more work for me when i went to paint and finish the baseboards.

Did not use the company. They took too long to contact me back. I did get a phone call 3 weeks later but job was done.

The installation was beautiful. We remodeled our whole kitchen and made many changes throughout the house but the one thing everyone comments on when they see the changes is how much they like the floor. Great job guys! And thanks to Sandi for all her help.

Our project went very well. From visiting the showroom to purchase and installation. I even had them replace all the baseboard with new taller baseboard on their advice. We have 10 foot ceilings. It turned out excellent. Great eye!

I am extremely pleased with the finished work. The installers were professional and MIguel is a true craftsman/artist. He fashioned a particularly challenging bottom stair step into a work of art. They cleaned up when finished and promptly addressed any concerns that I had. And Sandy in the office was a joy to work with, pleasant and courteous.

PERFECT PERFECT PERFECT. We have a home built in 1974, custom built with TONS of angles, very difficult installation. Our first installer realized he had bit off more than he could chew on this job. The TEAM is awesome, professional, polite, with great knowledge. We installed Hickory, very difficult wood to cut, the cut all the angles correctly, and we have a lot of angles, there is nothing square in this home. We have enough wood left over to the the office, as soon as other projects are completed, we will call them back to do that room. They are really the Best Hardwood Flooring Company. Miguel and his staff did an excellent job. The job took several days and they always arrived as scheduled and worked hard throughout the day. We bought a 1964 home and they refinished the existing hardwood floors in the bedrooms, hall and living room before we moved in. Then a few weeks later after we did some minor remodeling they returned and installed a new hardwood floor in the dining room. All of the work was done beautifully, especially the dining room floor which they matched perfectly with the rest of the floors in the house. Miguel installed a border around the dining room floor that makes it look especially unique and classic.

We purchased a home in Lakeridge built in 1991. We used Best Hardwood Flooring for wood floors in living room, dining room, study, and den. Also used them for tile in laundry room, master and guest baths. Their recommendation for the wood floors was perfect and the floors are gorgeous. We also had Best Hardwood install new oversize baseboards throughout the entire house. This added touch finished the house to perfection. Caesar and Miguel were wonderful to work with and their entire staff was efficient, tentative to details, and very neat during the entire installation process. We recommend their services for any project requiring flooring, tile, new baseboards, new trim, etc.

Good experience. Someone was at the store almost all the time for looking around and checking flooring. Availability is very important so I did not waste time waiting for Miguel or someone else.

One of the owners came out to our home to give us a free estimate. Their prices are very fair and everything was disclosed up front (no hidden costs later). They were able to schedule the job the following week. We wanted to treat the subfloor ourselves with Kilz, an odor eliminating product, before the new flooring was installed. So the owner and his assistant came to the house the day before the install to remove the carpet and pad, as well as the tack strips. Everything was done very quickly. The following morning two installers arrived as scheduled and completed the entire job in one day. They worked very quickly and efficiently. The install job was initially scheduled for two days, but was completed in one day. They cleaned up everything before leaving the job site. Everything looked beautiful. I would highly recommend this company. Good prices, easy to work with and an excellent job.

This family takes great pride in doing quality work. They are prompt, professional and courtious. They wanted to do everything they could to make me happy and satisified with my purchase. The crew showed up each day on time and the whole job was finished when they said it would be complete. From the 1st day they arrived they got right to work, no standing around talking, it was business all the time. My new floors are perfect. My Husband was out of town during the installation, and when he returned he was stunned at how beautiful the flooring looked. We are completely satisified with Best Hardwood Flooring, and we will be recommending them.

They came in and demoed right away. By day two they started laying the hardwood. They even moved the heavy furniture to the garage for me. They completed the floor by Friday, sanded and started laying the finish on Saturday. By Wednesday of the following week they were finished; I just had to wait for the finish to dry. After it was all dry and complete, they came back to put back the baseboards. I had asked them not to install the ones in the back bedroom, until I had a chance to paint them, which they did. And this is when I had a couple of problems, when they removed the baseboards, they damaged a few pieced and scuffed and dinged the walls in a couple of places. I talked to them and the patched the dings and attempted to find matching baseboard, but to no avail, they replace the baseboards in the entire room. Also, the back door threshold wasn't how I wanted it; so they fixed that.

the existing hardwood floor looks very nice. My concern about them was when they took out the carpet, they had to take out my baseboards and they did an awful job putting them back on. It was really bad. I've had conversations with them about it and nothing seems to come of it. I am either going to have to replace my baseboards which is going to cost me a fair amount of money. I am pleased with the matching job of the existing hardwood. The price was average but in retrospect it was not good. I would definitely not use them again.

Everything is perfect! Miguel and Caesar and their staff are a pleasure to work with. They work hard to make sure you are satisfied. They have been very helpful through the entire process.

We researched flooring and installers for about 4 months before choosing Best Hardwood. From the showroom to installation they were professional, honest, and responsive. Everything that you would want in a contractor, you get with Best Hardwood. They know their product lines very well and were critical in helping us choose the right product for our needs. Down to the smallest detail, they were helpful and a pleasure to work with. The floor is finished and it looks absolutely wonderful.

We had received lower bids but we trusted the reviews for Best Hardwood Floors here on Angie's List and we liked Miguel when he came to give us the estimate. When we had further questions about the project, Miguel was happy to come back to go over things with us again. The crew showed up right on time as scheduled and they took great care in covering all the cabinetry, windows, and sealed off the rooms from the rest of the house. The three crew members who worked on the project were friendly as well as skilled workers and we enjoyed having them in our home. The job did take an extra day but that was because they were being very careful with all the sanding and also with applying the final coat of sealer (since we had a high gloss finish). There was one small area that showed where the sealer had been applied too thick into a corner but when I called them about it, they were back the next day to fix it. We are especially pleased with the extra effort they took on the transition strips between the hardwood floor and the entry tile floor. Delfino, the foreman, had to cut and customize the strip to fit our unusual situation and he did a beautiful job. We are very happy with our newly refinished floors and are impressed with how beautiful the new stain and high gloss looks. We would certainly and highly recommend BHF to all our friends and family.
