Roberto promptly submitted a VERY competitive bid. He and his crew were on time, professional and friendly. Work was done to a high standard and all phases "flew" through inspections with no remedial work needed. Plumbing and HVAC are currently being completed, I'll review the slab work when finished. So far, totally satisfied.....

Roberto and his crew did an excellent job. They all had a great work ethic and were timely and efficient. Roberto is friendly and professional and the price was more than fair. We definitely recommend Roberto and Aztec Concrete LLC.

The project started out all right, but I had to call to have the sealer applied after the recommended time had elapsed. It was poorly applied, so I had to call to have part of it redone ( then 2 months after pouring). In July, the sidewalk cracked all the way across, in front of my entry way. I sent a photo and email, and have been communicating at reasonable intervals since then by phone, email and paper letter. Finally Roberto came to look at it and suggested I had done something to cause it, or maybe frost (in July?). He said he would be back within 2 weeks to repair it, but it has been 20 days with no action. I will add that otherwise, the drivewY is beautiful. But I have had to work far too hard and the issue has not been resolved.

The absolutely most AMAZING people I have ever worked with! Roberto understood the emergency we had and came over that night to help us. At 7am the next morning his crew was here ready to work. There were complications (flooding in the basement from the wet winter) and it took several days of backbreaking work for his crew to achieve what was necessary to install 2 sump pumps. They worked long, hard hours, even on the weekend, and were very respectful (we can't have smoking in our home). They took extra care to make sure the mess was kept at a minimum and did a wonderful job of cleaning up after themselves. They went above and beyond. When the weather dries up, concrete work will need to be done to finish it off. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Roberto and his crew again.

tarted on 7/26 to excavate and set forms, poured RV Pad and shed pad on 7/27, poured the driveway pn 7/29. They came out cleaned the area, I wanted to attach metal posts to my wood fence posts. They chipped out the concrete on the wood posts so I could bolt on the metal posts, when they poured the concrete they fill the post holes also. A drain and rebar were put in, graded to the drain. Came back and put the gat back up. Excellent finish work. Very nice curbing in a couple locations. Roberto was professional, prompt, and easy to work with.

Aztec was punctual and hard working. I contacted them last fall, and they suggested that I wait until the weather warmed up. Roberto said I would be happier with the result. The crew worked extremely hard. They completed the project in 2 days. This included the demo, and removing tree roots that were at least 6 inches in diameter. Great work and great result.

It took him approx. 2 complete days to start and complete this work. I am very happy with the finished product. I will definitely use Aztec's Concrete in the future.

Roberto and crew did a fantastic job and built a beautiful new patio for us. They were prompt, courteous, friendly and did excellent work. We are thrilled with our new patio. The process from design to finish was a pleasant experience. Roberto always returned messages promptly when we had questions. He is a pleasure to work with. I recommend his company highly!

Roberto and his crew did an excellent job from start to finish. We expressed our concerns about proper drainage around our house that we had purchased last spring. There were areas where we would get standing water whenever it rained. Roberto definitely knew what was needed to address the drainage issues and proposed a solution for each area of the house/yard. His crew worked quickly and they were able to complete all the work in just four days. It has rained since the work was completed and there is a huge improvement in the drainage situation.

Roberto worked with me and was very patient as I made up my mind on what I wanted done. He worked me into what I'm sure is a busy schedule as soon as he could. I'm very please with the new driveway and the paver walkways and steps. One of my main concerns was proper runoff and I was pleased that Roberto seemed as concerned about it as I was.

Roberto and his crew were amazing. He stayed in contact so I knew exactly when he was going to begin. His work is excellent and very artistic. He had a lot of good ideas about how to go about our project. He made sure that we understood his plan and even talked us out of some unnecessary work. He is an honest man with a great work ethic. We had a large project. From framing to pouring, the driveway was finished in 2 days. Roberto and his crew were always on time and very professional. He over delivers on his services. We will be calling him again for future projects!

Roberto, has done all my concrete and paving work. He removed existing concrete and installed a colored stamped concrete boarder around edge of driveway and then installed pavers to interior. The stamped colored concrete matched the exisiting stairs he installed 2 yrs ago.

THINGS WENT FAIRLY WELL AS LONG AS ROBERTO (AZTEC OWNER) WAS ON THE JOB. WHEN HE WAS NOT ON SITE, COMMUNICATION WITH THE CREW BECAME VERY DIFFICULT. FINALLY HAD TO RELY ON CALLING ROBERTO'S CELL TO DISCUSS PROBLEMS AND HE WOULD CALL HIS CREW WITH INSTRUCTIONS THAT WERE LARGELY IGNORED. THE JOB, OVERALL, WAS "SO-SO, SATISFACTORY". I FEEL IT WOULD HAVE BEEN A MUCH BETTER JOB HAD THE BOSS BEEN ON SITE AT ALL TIMES. ONCE PAVERS ARE CUT AND INSTALLED IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO UNCUT THEM. WASTED MATERIALS. TIME LOST... IF I HIRED AZTEC AGAIN I WOULD INSIST THAT ROBERTO BE ONSITE AT ALL TIMES. IF HE HAD TO LEAVE, I WOULD HAVE HIM TAKE HIS CREW WITH HIM... THAT MAY IMPACT THE COST, NOT CERTAIN...

He didn't show up for estimate. I wasted my Saturday waiting for him.

Roberto is a very congenial person. Has well trained crew working for him. Recommend for anything to do with concrete.

I set up an appointment a week in advance for them to come out and give me an estimate to expand my patio. They were out of town and wouldn't be back until March 4th 2014. I was told they would be here on March 5th 2014 at 10:00 AM. On this date I made sure I had no other appointments and was home and they never showed up nor did they call. When I called to find out what happened I was told they just got into Reno last night and just woke up. In my opinion they should have called me yesterday if they had known they weren't going to be able to make the appointment.

If you need any concrete work, save yourself the anxiety and look no further. Roberto and his crew are professional and efficient craftsmen and very reasonably priced. Roberto went out of his way to fit the job into his schedule even though it meant starting on a Saturday! I obtained 3 bids. The first was $3,000 over Roberto's price and the contract had no specific detail, simply stating the 'approximate' square yards of concrete. When I asked about it the contractor said 'Oh, the job will include everything we talked about". Oh dear. The second contractor, also rated highly on Angie's list, was rude and dismissive. Any question I had was answered with 'I've done this for 20 years. I know what I'm doing". At one point he even told me "One thing about concrete-no matter what I do it will crack". Great... Then I met with Roberto who came to my house in the evening (to accommodate my work schedule) after he'd had a long day's work himself. He spent 2 hours with me, discussing the particulars of the job. Roberto walked us through every phase of the project, answering any questions and addressing any concerns. I wanted curved corners on the walkway and the result is a charming, lovely flow. Each radius is perfect and proportionate. His crew was interesting to watch. Each knew his job well, all working together in a professional, efficient harmony rarely seen today. I can't say enough about how pleased we are, and we've had many comments from neighbors speaking to the high quality of workmanship. Thanks again to Roberto and his crew.

Roberto and crew did a fabulous job and everything came out great.

Roberto does excellent work! I had a seriously messed driveway with slabs tilted up by roots from a nearby tree. His crew removed the old concrete and tree roots. I thought I would have to remove the tree but Roberto said to wait a bit to see how it affected the tree. So far the tree is fine, with no signs of stress. He told me he killed the roots so they wouldn't grow back under the driveway. I spoke with my neighbor this morning about the work, and he complimented Roberto on what a nice job he'd done. My neighbor is a retired highway engineer and very knowledgeable about concrete. I highly recommend Aztec's Concrete. Roberto is an exceptionally nice person, very competent and has an excellent work crew.
