We had a terrible experience with Terry, who took over this business from the previous owner, just recently. Any review with Jon is from the previous owner. Terry is not qualified to do this work and actually puts people at risk due to his lack of thoroughness and safety measures. (Not to mention just poor quality work in general) Initially, Terry seemed like a nice guy and we were excited to see the work he had done to reglaze our bathtub and tile. He left for the night and the next morning we looked at the work and everything he glazed felt like sandpaper. Terry admitted this was a mistake because he wasn't aware that when his paint gun gets dirty, this is what happens. He came back 4 days later to redo the entire job. He didn't offer and we did not ask for any compensation for the inconvenience of not having use of our bathroom for 1 week. When he came back, things were even worse. Because he was rushing, he did not prep the area he was spraying and toxic chemicals were filling our house, setting off our smoke alarms. He did this while knowing my 6 months pregnant wife was in the room next door. Our entire house was coated in toxic dust, some of it permanently stuck to the surfaces and needed to be professionally removed. We called Poison Control and they advised us to stay out of the house until it could be professionally cleaned. Terry charged us $1950 for the job and after having to ask multiple times agreed to a $1200 refund. He was not polite about this refund or apologetic. This initially seemed reasonable for the inconvenience and because we had to stay in a hotel until it was cleaned. After we came back to see the final product again, we realized he had actually done damage to our property and we asked for a full refund, which would not even cover the damage he had done. He sprayed our floor tile, mirror, and pretty much every item in the bathroom other than the tub. He refused our full refund request and then showed his true colors in his rude communication and lack of accountability. To top it all off, as he was leaving our house during the second round he spilled paint all over some items in our garage and didn't have the decency to offer to clean it, or pay to replace the items. We only saw this a week after he had left. I texted him about it a week later with no response. DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY!!!!
