Description of Work: Cleaning: mop laminate flooring, wipe surfaces down, clean bath rooms, vacuum carpets, sanitize and clean kitchen. Polish wood furniture. Sweep off front porch and rear porch. Clean above and below! Your house will shine and smell divine.

Description of Work: Hired this company in December 2012 and fired them on February 22,2013. Rooms cleaned were living room, family room, two bathrooms and the kitchen. Job was complicated by having four dogs, a cat and lots of areas to dust. The housekeeping service stated they would dust the shelving units every few visits and alternate them. Twice they brought in extra employees but then assigned two employees to come on a regular basis. That was fine and they did a good job. The final time, they sent an efficiency expert to cut the time in half.

Description of Work: They came in to do their White Glove cleaning service in my house.

Description of Work: I used American Housekeeping of Northern Nevada for housecleaning 5th of January. The house had oil heaters so all the walls were black. They cleaned all the counters in the kitchen and floors. They did the entire appliance. They vacuumed the whole house and cleaned the bathrooms. They cleaned three bedrooms and did the windows and the blinds. They did all the ceiling fans.

Description of Work: Today was hopefully the last time I will be using this company. They are not a bad company, just not what I really want in a cleaning service. This company does an adequate job, and are pretty quick. They typically take 45 minutes with 2 people to clean our 1300 square-foot, 2 bed, 1.5 bath townhouse. However, they often miss things, particularly with dusting shelving and picture frames, as well as cleaning the bannister on the stairs. My biggest concern with them has been their lack of punctuality. I work away from the home and my partner works from home most of the time, and we prefer to have at least one of us at home when the cleaners are there. They typically give a 2-hour time frame in which they intend to arrive, and then arrive at exactly the very end of that time frame or even a little afterwards. Sometimes, though, they arrive at the beginning of it; there's really no way of knowing. What has finally got me looking for an alternative is that they were supposed to arrive at exactly 8am this morning (no range because it was the first stop of the day, I assume), and it was important that they be done or almost done by 9am because my partner had an important phone meeting at that time and did not want a lot of noise or interruptions. If they had arrived on time, this would have worked out perfectly, however, they did not arrive until about 8:50am, shortly before the meeting. They claimed they "got lost" trying to find our townhouse, but they did not call me for directions (which a different team from this company had done in the past) and the company has been sending people here monthly for almost a year, so it seems logical that they would have had directions or could have gotten them. So, they were almost an hour late, at a crucial time. I am hoping to find a new company that will have people here when they say they will be here. There are also several items on their "white glove service" list on their website that I don't see being done for my service, namely: - Clean Microwave & Small Appliances - Vacuum Fabric Chairs & Sofas - Clean Normal Smudges on Doors, Switches & Walls We have never had any problems with any of the women sent to our house, however, and the few times we have had to leave a key, everything had worked out fine. They all have been cheerful and friendly, and involved in their jobs so there is certainly no complaint there. When I have had to call to re-schedule, the woman who answers the phone is always cheerful. Their customer service is good.
