Alpha sound did an excellent job at repairing our home theater system on our primary home as well which was lackluster due to a poor installation from another electronics contractor. + 0 moreWe set a date for the installation about three weeks in advance. They ordered all the equipment and showed up the morning that we agreed on. Four guys worked all day the first day, and two of them came back for another full day. They were very professional and polite. They took their shoes off whenever they entered the house, and they held a vacuum cleaner tube up to the ceiling when they were cutting holes for the speakers. They moved furniture and put drop cloths over everything that might get debris on it. When they left, there was no trace of their visit other than the sound system. It is awesome.
Description of Work: Installed ceiling speakers in our kitchen and dining room; installed a receiver to interface our TV with existing surround sound speakers in the ceiling of our great room; added a subwoofer for the indoor sound system; installed a set of 8 small speakers around the perimeter of our back yard + one outdoor subwoofer; set up all these speakers as three separate zones (two inside and one outside) for wireless control from our iPhones, iPads, and computers. We can now play all our iTunes music or Sirius radio or Dish TV music or Pandora etc. anywhere and control the source, tracks, volume, etc. remotely, grouping the zones in all possible configurations, however we wish. They also mounted the speakers, ran wires through the walls and ceiling, and connected another surround sound system we already owned to make a second floor game room party-ready.

Description of Work: The installed mount for tv in master bedroom. Hooked up stereo systems for two TV's for sound, etc., installed 3 DVD players. Installed new TV on mount in living room, installed sound bar for living room TV. They were there almost 5 hours, left house clean (cleaned up sheet rock, etc) very professional and even helped me a week later when I couldn't remember how to change over one of the remotes. The installer remembered!!!

Description of Work: Hooked up my entire music system. The movers had thrown all the hook up wires to everything in one box and Memo sorted it all out and got my Bose system working and mounted my T.V. I would highly recommend Alpha Systems.

+ -1 moreExtremely courteous and professional in all communications. Sometimes if cell phone connection was bad, they would text to make sure I had the information I needed. The cost for their services was half of what Best Buy wanted, and their service was better, and they even vacuumed up after they completed their work. They arrived promptly as promised, and we are very happy with the results. I would definitely recommend them.
Description of Work: Mounted 2 televisions, one of which was in a tricky location.

+ -1 moreWe just moved to Reno and needed someone to come make heads or tails out of the gazillion different wires we had for AV set ups in 3 different rooms. We were able to get an appt in less than 24 hours and he came out on a Saturday. They had a set hourly fee so I had roughly a good idea of how much it was going to cost. He arrived on time and went right to work. He got everything set up and also made sure the wiring was left neat and organized. We were also missing the bolts for one of our TV stands because it was previously mounted on a wall but he had parts with him and was able to make it work without having to run to the store. It would have taken us all day to get this all set up and probably still wouldn't have been right. Was very impressed with the professionalism of Alpha and would highly recommend them.
Description of Work: Set up TV, Bose surround sound, blu-ray, and video console in 3 different rooms in our house.

+ -1 moreThey provided an estimate (which was lower and included more services and products than the bid I received from another company). In my opinion, after speaking to both companies, Alpha was more intuitive to our needs and fully understood the scope of the work. Alpha arrived on time for both days' work and adequately cleaned up and prepared for the next day's work. I was impressed by their ability to retrofit with almost to visibility of their work left behind in what other companies said could not be done in a two-story home. They are a professional team of two who I would highly recommend in the future; and in fact, we are planning to purchase another home in the next few years and I will be using their services again. Alpha Sound Systems also gave us a military discount!
Description of Work: Alpha Sound Systems installed a whole-house surround sound system, 7-channel surround sound for television, and several data and communication lines between computers and home monitors in our two-story home which is more challenging and time consuming than an install on a one-story home.
