ADT Security Services

I have had a ADT system for two years and it has not worked over 7 days in a row without problems. It is a 30 - 45 minute wait on hold to talk to someone and that person rarely solves the problem. Technicians have been to my home several times, but their knowledge of the ADT system ius significantly less than mine. "It is your internet" is a common saying despite ADT throughly checking the ineternet before installing the system and siad it is more than adequate and I won't have any problems. I also video stream on three TVs and my son has three game systems that do not have any internet issues. I also have two ring cameras that do not have any issues. At ADT's suggesstion, I purchased $400 of internet extenders wchich did absolutely nothing to solve any issues. ADT was the worst decision I ever made.

The installer (Brian Franco) was on time, very professional, answered questions, and did a good job with installation.

We were unhappy with the salesperson's attitude: he was impatient with one of us who is hearing impaired. We had a good deal with this company thru USAA so we went with them anyway. The installer was polite and competent and we have had no problems with the service. We haven't been burgled or invaded so we have no way of knowing if this stuff actually works.

They system didn't work right. So I cancelled it. I called the main office and spoke to the manager there. She was snide with me. They still want $358 because it's a 3 year contract. They said it was on my contract. I didn't have my glasses, they didn't give me time to get, it was pressure pressure pressure and I just signed. They never said I was under contract for 3 years. I had to call every month so my system could even work correctly. I paid for nothing. They take the money out of my account without my permission. I was to pay $40.99 per month, yet they kept increasing my bill monthly and one bill was upwards of $55.99, another bill was $59. You just can't trust them. I then cancelled, now they say I owe them all this money.

They were really, really prompt and had it in within 3 days. I was very impressed. The installer was really, really nice. He was super polite and very skilled. It was a pleasure. They had a deal and the installation and equipment were free. I just pay the monthly fee.
