Mr. Haro is the representative that I spoke to. I am so pleased with them. They do just exactly what I want done. No more, no less and I don’t like a lot of cutting. I set them up before and they were right on time. I would rate them highly.

It was a pretty big job. I have never had any problems.

He gave me a quote on cutting down two huge trees and grinding the stumps. He's a licensed arborist and very knowledgeable. He was professional and showed up when he said he would.

We have a neighbor, who has large trees that are up over our wall and they cut up all the trees at the wall from the neighbors own trees that are falling on our yard and they also removed the trees that were between the house and a sidewall. My experience with them was good. They were on-time. They cleaned everything else. They were friendly and did a good job.

They did a great job. It was the first time I had used them. They did a great job cleaning up and they were very efficient.

Office is slow to respond,estimator is excellent,and workers are very good.

First quoted a price of $400.00 which was reduced to $350.00. In less than 2 hours the entire task was accomplished by two men satisfactorily and I was instructed as to future care. My only complaint is that after I paid for the service, I was not given an Invoice or receipt showing what was done, by whom, nor that payment had been received. When asked for this copy, I was informed that they did not have a duplicate and that it would be mailed. It did not arrive; so the office was called. I was assured that one would be mailed out ..... they were behind in their records. Soon afterwards, I received a bill from their main office. Phoned them again and was told that I owed nothing. I was promised that an Invoice would be sent and that I would be given a 10% discount and at the next trimming, another 10% discount would be applied. Has been over a month now and, as yet, no Invoice has been received let alone the 10% discount.

I was not satisfied with what they charged for the tree pruning. We were satisfied with the deep root fertilization. I would use them again in the future but not for tree pruning.

We heard from people that once they take up the stumps that the roots usually start to pop up all over and that didn't happen. The estimate was for around a $1,000 and it ended up being only $700. So, it came up quite a bit under estimate and they finished the job in a day.

This went very badly. Mr. Perry came out the week prior to the scheduled service to give me an estimate and a date for service. While I thought the estimate high and said so, he countered with 'we educate our guys to give a higher level of care and service'. So I went for it an agreed to the price, all the while thinking it was a rip off but justified it in my mind by seeing the rating they had on Angies List and by how long they had been in business. Plus I had gotten an estimate for some work several years ago and Mr. Perry was knowledgeable. However, the day the service was scheduled no one showed up. I called the office and was transferred to Mr. Perry's cell and he proceeded to tell me that his foreman had an emergency that he first learned about at 5am so we would have to reschedule. I am a real estate professional and had arranged my own schedule around this work being done on the agreed upon date and time. Needless to say this threw me off considerably and could possibly have cost me a bit of money by missing and turning down business. To reschedule was a huge imposition on my time and livelihood, so I canceled and went with another company that showed up on time, did the work professionally and didn't charge any where near as much as Davey Tree Service. I would not call this company again!

The guy came out and gave a bid. He tagged all the stuff that we talked about and he put a little ribbon on it. These guys came out and took care of it. They did a great job. They did what they said they’d do for the price they said. They got it done pretty much when I wanted them to do it. They were punctual. It was fine and great. I don’t know if I could have got a better price. They did a great job for the price that we agreed on. It wasn’t a great price but I think it was a fair price. I will use their services again in the future.

The tree trimmers did a good job and cleaned up nicely after themselves, though I wish they might have trimmed just a bit more. I still have a palm tree that is extending into a nearby shrub and I wanted that fixed. Overall, though, I was happy with their work and they were very professional. The arborist determined that my Mimosas had insects and recommended a fertilization and an insect spray. I agreed to do so, but we have no idea whether or not it will save the trees. I understand that, but felt it was worth the shot.I was happy with their work, though I felt the overall price tag was a bit high. I've had other companies trim my trees and charge me $100 less than Davey, with similar results. I paid Davey $475 for the trimming and $275 for the fertilization/spray.

They did a reasonably good job. They could have taken a stump out which they did but they came back and did for nothing when I had a problem with it. I may use them in the future.

They were on time, the quote was what we paid, they wasted no time. It was a job well done.

These guys did an awesome job!! Called with my initial inquiry and Perry called me promptly back. He came out the same day to give me an estimate which he provided on the spot and the main work was scheduled for the following day. Their crew arrived as scheduled and got to work on a what turned out to be the hottest day of the year that far in May (I am rather late in submitting my report - sorry Perry!!) but they got thru it and worked into early everning to get the job completed in the same day. They were very polite, very thorough and did a great job of hauling away all the tree debris they had cut down. I scheduled them to come back a couple of days later to trim all my palm trees throughout my yard which again was performed quickly and efficiently. Perry is certainly a professional at what he does and is friendly yet courteous in his manner - he has a great team working for him. He provided me all sorts of additional advice on watering and tree care as well as offered to schedule that part of their team to come out and evaluate as necessary. Will definitely use uys these again and highly recommend their services if you are looking for REAL tree experts who clearly know their stuff!!

They did a good job and cleaned up very nicely. There've been around for about 30 years. I think they are the oldest in town. They know what they're doing and they always do a very good job. They have green trucks that can be seen everywhere. My mother has used them quite often. Our overall experience with them has been very good.

We recently planted several large palms in our yard and were looking for a good company to maintain our investment for us. The first step was to evaluate the trees for new growth and release/trim the fronds. Based on Angie's list reviews and talking with the arborist who come out to our house for a free estimate, we decided to go with Davey. We interviewed several other companies as well and felt most comfortable with Davey regards to knowledge, price, and honesty. Prior to the crew coming out to do the first stage of work, we were informed that there would be a "minimum fee" of $225 which we would have to pay even if the trees did not demonstrate adequate new root growth (and hence would not be ready for trimming). We were assured however that there would be no problem. We appreciated that this was mentioned up front and decided to go ahead. To make a long story short, on the scheduled day of work, several new issues came up and even though some of the trees "met criteria" for trimming, no work was done. In addition, we did not entirely agree with the assessment provided at that time, as we had multiple additional opinions to the contrary. I was unhappy with this and called to speak to the local manager, Mr. F. Perry. He took my call right away, listened to my complaint, and agreed to void our contract. He also offered to come out himself to have a look if I wanted, and told me to ask for him personally should we decide to have Davey do any work for us in the future. I have to say that we were very impressed by Mr. Perry's professionalism. By taking our complaint seriously, waiving the "minimum fee" for bringing the crew out, and offering to go above and beyond with personal attention, he has changed an upset customer to one who will in fact consider Davey Tree again for work in the future.

Called, got a quick estimate, set up a time for the Contractor to preform the work, they came and did the work efficiently and quickly.

This is the 4th time I've used Davey Tree Co. The estimator arrived promptly and we walked around our yard so I could show him what I wanted done and get his advice and input. The final price agreed on was a perfect fit for my budget. The crew came back about a week later (today) and did the work. They arrived promptly within the scheduled window, walked around the property again with me, discovered that two trees had been inadvertently omitted from their work list, contacted the estimator and got that squared away, and then began working. They did a wonderful job not only with the pruning and tree removal, but also with the subsequent clean up. I am very happy with the job and would definitely recommend Davey Tree Company. Very professional and they know what they are doing.

I never met them but my wife was with them. They came in when they said they were going to and they were done before I came home from work. They cleaned up everything real nice and my wife liked them. My wife felt very comfortable with the guys who came out. She was not too comfortable with the other guy who gave us an estimate. We had only two estimates and though the other one was cheaper she was more comfortable with The Davey's.

It went well, the tree is still standing and it's nice that I was given another business choice.

They were responsive to my questions and performed skillfully.
