It went fine. We didn't have any problems. They had to come back to do something. It wasn't completely seamless. It wasn't bad.

They were overpriced. They should have told me to wait. They went ahead and charged $300 - $400 to cut our tree. They had to do it again. They should not have been doing that. They're okay but I wouldn't recommend them. They were out there quickly. They were there when they said they're going to be there. My trees were back right away and they had to redo it.

I thought they were quite good, but they were also quite expensive. I only saw them one time. They were quite responsive. I might use them again despite the fact that they were so expensive.

The initial service was fine but when I wanted them to stop, they were quite persistent. They tend to schedule things. They send you letters that they scheduled you without asking for it. Even though they were fine, it seems like once they get your name, it takes them a while to get them to stop. They did a good job and they're fine. They should be a little less aggressive.

They came out and they're on time. They really know what they're doing. They're professional. They had a professional arborist who came out to give the estimate. He examined the plant to make sure it needed help. It's a good service.

They did a very good job. The price was a little high for my liking. Didn't care to be up sold for the work needed. They were here when they said they would be. They are a very good company and I will possibly use them again if my budget allows.

Contacted Davey Tree thru Angie's List. Had them inspect trees for possible structural damage to shared wall. Company was very responsive and recommended removing one of the palm trees. Services were performed as agreed. I am an out of state landlord and found this provider very responsive, professional and competent. Their communication and follow up with me and my tenants was excellent. All payment was provided upon completion of service and the process was hassle free. Will use them again.

They've done work for me for years. I have had them fertilize in the past. I did have to have them come back out because the two men crew that was here didn't do one tree the way I wanted it done. I had to have the estimator come back out and look at it. He agreed with me. So, they had to come back out with a crane and do one tree more. I got several prices and they were right there with the rest of them. When the gentleman gave me the price the first time, I talked to him about it being a little high. He said, "Well, if we don't do the Aleppo Pine, that would knock $300 off. " So, we just took a couple of branches off the Aleppo Pine. So, that knocked $300 off and that's what put them in the general price range that I was looking at. If he had told me that while we were setting the first price, we wouldn't have had to go through all that. But, he did, at least, tell me eventually and we did, then, get the price set properly.

They did okay. I was satisfied with it. The quality of the work was fine. They're right on time.

A very difficult tree removal that was done in a professional manner. Carlos and his helper sized up a very restricted work area and placed their equipment carefully and to their best advantage. Once everything was ready, they worked quickly and carefully to remove the tree and with no damage to any other vegetation, landscape lights or watering systems. We were very impressed with everything Davey Tree promised and provided. Thanks!

Called Provider, Was told that They will not do any service under 225.00 Minn. Guess they won't do small jobs. That is their call. It should be posted on the site though...

The appointment was very easy to set up by phone and a visit was scheduled right after Labor Day. Ken called before he came over and arrived right on time. He told me that the tree had Ash Tree Disease and would very likely survive. He pointed out that the ineffective watering system and lack of feeding and fertilization of the tree had made it vulnerable to the disease. He gave me specific instructions on how to set up proper irrigation for not only the ash tree but also for a large elm tree in the yard. Ken spent 45 minutes, walked my front and back yard and gave me valuable information about my plants and trees along with suggestions for several plants that he thought would thrive in the environment. I inquired about a fertilization treatment for my 1/2 acre yard. Ken gave me a price of $180. to feed and fertilize the plants and trees in the entire yard: front and back. (The other company that I consulted had given me a price of $200. to provide the same service for the front yard only.) Ken told me that Davey's services were guaranteed and if I was at all dissatisfied a representative would re-do the work to my satisfaction. Ken is a certified arborist and is very knowledgeable about trees and plants. I have an appointment for next week to complete the fertilization and feeding process for the yard. There was no charge for this service call.

Matt, the Arborist, called the day of the appointment to confirm. He said he was nearby, so we agreed he could come then, which was about 1/2 hour early. Matt really knows his trees. I told him what my need is (curb appeal) and he gave me his recommendations as well as his rationale. We agreed; he wrote up a bid and we scheduled the work. Carlos and Celestino showed up today. They did arrive earlier than I had expected, but that's OK. They worked outside and didn't me. They were both very polite and professional and there were absolutely no communication problems whatsoever. They did what Matt had planned but Carlos also made a suggestion or two, showed me why, and I agreed. The curb appeal is so much better than before. They trimmed two Palo Verdes in the front yard, getting them out of the street, out of the neighbor's yard, away from the house, getting rid of ugly branches that were horizontal to the ground, they shaped the trees, and thinned them out so that wind can pass through which is appropriate to the species. In the back yard, there was an overgrown Sweet Acacia tree. They left the birds nest, cleaned the trunk completely, and then made the tree a canopy. It looks awesome and is away from the house and people can walk under it (in three yards) without getting pricked by the thorns. They cleaned up after themselves. You can't tell they were here. They wore appropriate personal protective gear. They worked with me collaboratively to ensure my needs were met and to make sure I was happy. I cannot recommend them enough. They are awesome! Thank you to my realtor for recommending them.

Jaime and Juan were on-time, worked hard, listened to my desires (trimming more here and there), and cleaned up the yard of all debris when finished. The result was a wonderful view-changing appearance to the front of our home. Great service, including the advice offered by Ken during the estimate. Great service, great price! We will be hiring them again!

The workers arrived as scheduled, were very professional, worked quickly, did an excellent job, cleaned up nicely and had me review the work before they left. Their service are a little bit expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for. They saved the life of a tree that had been hacked up by another provider.

I have had this semi-annual service for two years now. My giant pine trees and all my shrubs have never looked better! Yes my pines drop some needles but no where near the carpet I used to have prior to getting trees thinned and fertilized. The neighbors comment on how great my plants & shrubs look. I highly recommend Davey and their rep Jacob provided great service every time he has come out

It went very well. They did a great job. I am very satisfied with them. They came out on Friday last week. I use them on a regular basis. This is the service I have always used, I trust them. They do what I ask them to do, they advise me when I am going the wrong direction and their price is reasonable. The last service cost $300. They are really not the cheapest, but I expected that. They show up when they say they'll show up and they cleaned up here very well. I would use them again.

I would give them top rating. Every single thing from coming out to give me a bid to clean up to do a tricky job; they were great.

It went well. Their technician is so thorough. I have been using them for a couple of years and the technician has always been very conscientious not to mess up any plants and to really try do a good job. We plan to continue using them.

Arrived on time. They were obviously experienced in trimming tall trees. Price was on the high side, but you are paying for quality and experience.

The crew did a very good job. When they were grinding the stump, one of the irrigation lines was accidentally cut. They promptly called their boss who brought out a coupler to repair it. They did a great job cleaning up. I will definitely use Davey again!
