The Davey Tree Expert Company

I used Davey before to trim my palms and was very pleased. A friend recommended another company saying they were better priced than Davey's. The 'other' company provided a quote of $195 compared to Davey's $140. Davey got the job...duh...and did an absolute wonderful job within a couple of days after scheduling. They nicely trimmed the palms, removed all debris, cleaned the yard, and left nothing behind save three nice looking palms. I won't bother to look around next time...Davey's got my service.

This is the 2nd time I have them do this type of work for me. They are very professional and great to work with. It started with Rich coming by to do a walk through and give a quote. Then the guys showed up about a week later to do the work. They always clean up after themselves, are reliable and have great follow up if you experience any issues.

Davey Tree did a really good job trimming my pine. They did the work efficiently, quickly and picked up the debris when they were done. It isn't always easy to find someone good to take care of your trees in Vegas, but you can count on Davey Tree to do the job right.

This company was great, I can't say enough about them. I called several contractors to come by and give a bid on the work I needed done and most of them did not show. Out of the bids I did receive, Davey Tree Service was the least expensive. They showed up on time, cleaned up all the trimmings and hauled the tree and stump grindings away. They were efficient, prompt and kept their word about the price. I would hire them again for sure! My trees look great!

One of the best things about Davey is that they don't mind going that extra step to help the customer. When they were cutting down my trees, they noticed we had other tree that was in need of taking care of. They volunteered their best fertilizer and maintenance for fixing it up. They were extremely clean and when they finished my lawn, it looked cleaner then when they first came. They also paid special attention to where my drip lines were located. Both the foreman and the supervisor went out of their way to ensure the workers did everything they told to us they were going to do with in the estimate. If I ever have to do anything with trees or cactus again, it will be with Davey.

The tree company arrived with crew and chain saws in hand to take out the rotten tree in the back yard. They had quite a bit of cutting up to do. The tree was put through a mulcher and the trunk was ground down to nothing. It took a whole day for the project but when they and their crew were done, we had our back yard back. The men were very nice and I didn't have anything left to clean up. They were respectful of our yard and didn't disturb any of the other plants and shrubs.

This company was very friendly and made sure to answer all of our questions. The only problem that we had was that the price seemed a little costly. Besides that though I would recommend them to anyone.

Very happy. Returned inquiry call in timely manner. Estimate next day and work performed the next. Very knowledgeable about trees, as was the foreman that performed job. Exceptional punctuality. May have paid a bit more than some, but received far more expertise and professional results. Well worth any cost difference. Will certainly be using this company for any of our future tree care needs.

The workman named Ron was prompt and experienced in doing this type of work. He explained the workings of the machine he used to grind the stump out. After that was completed he cleaned up any debris left behind and raked the area clean. I was very pleased with their work.

The two-man crew showed up on time. They finished the job in two hours. They did a great job and cleaned up all of the debris. We were very happy with their work and would definitely use their services again.

Estimator arrived within scheduled time. Work could be done in approximately one week. I was notified the day before work was to be done. Tree was cut down and debris left on sight as requested.

The job itself went very well. The workers clean up the area exceptionally well and close all gates, etc. when the work is complete. The only difficulty I had was with scheduling the job as I wanted it done by a specific date, and I preferred to be home during the work. Coincidentally, during this process I received a message from another Davey Tree representative coordinating the deep root fertilization service, saying they would be in my area "tomorrow" and to call if there was a problem. I was away and did not get the message. Frankly, I wanted to be home when it was done. I'm certain it was a good job, but I don't like this practice.

Excellent service, underbid some services by $600. Very professional, will use again.

They sent a representative out to give us an written estimate. He was nicely dressed and professional. A couple of weeks later they called to schedule the trim date (the representative had told me it would take this long because they are busy). The workers showed up (on time!), trimmed the trees, and then completely cleaned up the mess. They were professional, courteous, and thorough. We will definitely use them again.

Davey's workers did not show on the date we had scheduled our trees to be trimmed. We called and left a message and received a return call, apology, and reschedule date. The workers arrived on time (on the second appointment), were very professional, and did a great job on both the work and cleaning up after the work. Despite the first missed appointment, I will hire them again for the next tree trimming.

Overall, Davey does very good work. The foreman goes over the job with you before they start, and they attend to very specific instructions. They also trim the tree so that it stays healthy, in addition to looking good. I have gotten other estimates for tree trimming, and I've found Davey to be the cheapest by several hundred dollars. My only complaint was that Davey wouldn't brace my tree, as they did for the previous owner, and a large limb broke off in a wind storm. Still, if you have valuable, mature trees, I wouldn't recommend any company but Davey.

We were given an estimate of the cost to trim the trees which was reasonable. They were very experienced because they new exactly how much pruning to do on the trees. The trees were cut properly for thickness of the limbs. We were quite satisfied with the results; the trees look great and the service was excellent.

Davey Tree & Lawn Care did a good job on our tree. We have used them several times. They don't call and bug us. They just know when our tree will need trimming. They do it regularly (about every 2 years). They show up whenever they say they will and finish the entire job in about 20 minutes, which is impressive to me. They also clean up well when finished.

Davey Tree & Lawn Care was a very helpful company to use. They did great on my palm trees. They are artists. I have used them for the last three years and some of the trees were dying and they saved them. They always call in advance before they come out.

Davey Tree & Lawn Care did a remarkable job with my trees. The company actually has 2 employees that have college degrees in the tree field and were very knowledgeable about their job. The work they did was priceless and we were very happy with the job they did. If anyone needs tree work done I would definitely recommend these guys.

Davey Tree & Lawn Care were insured and bonded, and that made sense because some of my palm trees they trimmed were as tall as our house. If any mishap took place they had what it took to fix it. The trimming they did looked wonderful and turned out as I expected. Sometimes it took a couple weeks to get them out here due to how busy they were. Their prices were higher than others, but with the results they provided I could live with the price.

Davey Tree & Lawn Care did an amazing job on our tree even though it was not an easy one. They got the tree out of the lines and got rid of all the clippings from the trim. The tree looks great still and it satisfied what the phone company wanted done. They were very good at their profession from what I saw and they worked very efficiently.

Davey Tree & Lawn Care did good work for me. I really have a positive opinion regarding this company. I have used them for the last 4 years now. They have a great reputation around my community & I use them because I know that they will do a good job. They do bill me on a monthly basis; however, I would rather not comment on their price.

We were not real pleased with this service because all of the roots were not completely removed from the ground when they removed the tree. The price was high and the work was not done properly.

Daveys Tree Service didn't hack away on my trees. They just did a very impressive job for me. They were done in just two hours. They didn't tear up my grass in the process. They did take all the branches with them and left my yard and trees looking great.
