Mike form the Service Team of Professionals responded to my call immediately. He accessed the situation, explained in detail what needed to be done, and committed to a cost, despite not knowing the extent of the damage until the drywall was removed. I was simultaneously dealing with an emergent out-of-state family illness at the time. Mike put my mind at ease regarding the repair, and scheduled the 5 day repair job to accommodate the demands of my family emergency. Also, since the 9 year-old water heater had to be removed in order to do the work, Mike also arranged to have it replaced at my request. The work involved (1) Removing the water heater (2) Removing baseboard (3) Removing identified damaged drywall and several feet beyond (4) Removing mold from affected areas (5) Sanding and treating studs and affected wood (6) Replacing drywall and base boards (7) Texturing and painting (8) Coordinating Installation of new commercial grade water heater. Mike kept me constantly posted on the progress of the work. He went out of his way to stop by to verify in person I was fully satisfied with the completed job. I hope I don't have another problem of this nature in the future, but if I do, I will be sure to contact Service Team of Professionals.

Called and set up appointment, guys came out promptly and we discussed issues with odors in closet areas of home, they made some suggestions to try before remediation.....5 star customer service....something seriously lacking in Las Vegas.....

Everything went great. Service Team of Professionals came into my home the next day after calling and gave a quick estimate and diagnosis of the problem. They started immediately to get the problem fixed. They showed great professionalism and timeliness to get the job complete and worked around our schedule. On top of everything they recommended great contractors to come in and fix the problem after the mold was removed. I would use this company again and I would use the contractors recommended by them.

I was very worried because I did not know the extent of the damage and what needed to be done. Mike was very calming and explained in detail the steps needed to take care of the problem. He outlined the extent of the work that might need to be done and why. There was never any pressure or scare tactics! Mike always told me when he would be there, called and confirmed before arrival, and supervised the job as he mentored other workers. It was a pleasure to watch his caring manner and professional attitude toward me and his employees. The work was beautiful, clean up was done every step on the way. It was a pleasure to have Mike and his crew at my home. I will definitely recommend them and will use them again should the occasion arrive!

STOP dried out my bathroom and master bath after a slab leak was detected. Once we noticed our master closest and bathroom leaking water we called our insurance agent who recommended STOP. Dustin and his team were there within 40 minutes to assess the damage. Dustin recommended a plumber to shut off the water to the house. Dustin and the office manager explained they needed 50% or $500 of my home owners deductible to start the water extraction job and another 50% or $500 when they removed their equipment. They removed everything in my closet to another room and the took carpet padding from my closet and hooked up several machines that ran for four days to dry out the baseboard and floor. They were in and out in a couple of hours. After four days of noisy machines that ran for 4 days, my bath and closet are dry and their equipment out. Although it is not advertised on their website, they do charge after hour fees that are quite high, so if you can wait on service, I would recommend you do so during normal business hours. Total cost was $3,014.23, not including plumber fees and restoration of my walls and baseboard.

They were very caring and professional. I would defiantly use them again. They were very good. If something wasn't to my liking, they fixed it.

.they were very professional and patience with a 82 year old. They went above what was required of them and helped me a lot also, took care of my things. they packed all the boxes and unpacked all the boxes when the repairs was made. anytime i called they answered and would come out to help me locate something that i could not find. My floors are not back in yet, but, I am so glad that i called SERVICE TEAM OF PROFESSIONALS....Now that they came and did the great job that they did, i feel very secure that my home is safe from mold. While the fan,s were going for five days, they came each day to check everything and tried to make me feel at ease and all would be ok. This was not anything major, but they treated me as though I was top of their list..THANK YOU , THANK YOU.

Mike was at our home within hours of calling. He removed all portions of damaged area immediately and began the dry out w / numerous fans. We were very pleased with this company.

We had flooding in the house due to a burst pipe. We saw the reviews on Angie's List and called STOP. They responded quickly and Mike and his team did a wonderful job with the remediation services. They removed the excess water and brought in huge fans to dry out the area. They also did all the repairs that were needed because of the flood. We are totally satisfied with their work. Since the repairs were covered by insurance, I can't list a price that they charged for the work they did.

A supply line broke in my home, in an upstairs bathroom, just after I moved out. In a panic I called my Insurance Agent who referred me to Mike, the owner of Service Team of Professionals. He was at my home in no time with one of his employees, Scott. They were able to quickly and accurately assess the damage, while we watched the water pour through my garage ceiling. Mike and Scott were both so respectful and professional, they immediately turned my panic into confident peace. They removed the drywall, set up 4 large blowers and a dehumidifier in the garage and one of each upstairs in the bath. I was in need of a plumber, they recommended Ray from ARK Plumbing. Who promptly arrived and repaired the damaged water line, took the time to check my other plumbing in a very professional and respectful manner. His price was more than fair, I can also highly recommend ARK Plumbing. Ray was awesome. After the drying period, (3 days), Mike thoroughly checked everything, inside and out with his meter to assure me there was no remaining moisture before his paint and drywallers came out and replaced the drywall and repainted the ceiling. You can't even tell the ceiling was ever opened. Mike was so amazingly professional, accurate and continued open communications all through the process. He is well versed in working with insurance claims. He worked with my insurance company and met with the Insurance Adjuster to assist with the claim processing. He also made sure to be there when the plumber and the paint and drywallers arrived. As a widow with No experience in flood matters, and one who has sadly been taken advantage of with home repairs in the past, I honestly don't know what I would have done without Mike and his Team of Professionals. This was a big scary mess. But Mike really went above and beyond the call in assisting me with all steps of the process. Oh, and he was spot on with his estimate of the repairs and damage mediation. Even though I knew it already, when the Insurance Adjuster completed her assessment and paperwork, she told me she had worked with Mike and his Team on numerous occasions, then confidently told me I had the best group of guys with me and not to worry. I can't think of anyone I would so highly and unconditionally recommend for any service as I would Mike and his Service Team of Professionals. It's very refreshing to find someone who Honestly CARES about their customers and the work they provide to them. A rare commodity these days. This is the very first time I have every posted a review of any kind. But I really thought these gentlemen needed a shout out, and perhaps this can be of help to any of you out there that may be in the same boat (no pun intended) with water, fire or mold damage, Thank you Mike, Scott, Ray and Arturo. You are the BEST!!!!! This is one company that TRULY lives up to their name. Service Team of Professionals!!!!

I would highly recommend Mike and his team at Service Team of Professionals. On Monday 2-4-13 our water heater broke and water damage occurred. Our plumber recommended Mike and when we called him he answered, all our questions and concerns, scheduled an appointment to come to our home that day to determine what remediation process we needed to get started on removing the water and clean up the water damage. He came around 5:00 p.m. left us a fan to begin the drying process and said he would be back in the morning once we got confirmation from our insurance to proceed. He was back at our house the next day as schedule did the clean up, tested for mold and water and left more fans and machines to dry the water. He returned each day checking the water level readings until we were water damage free. At that time he collected his fee. He was easily assessable at all times and immediately returned phone calls. He also worked around our schedule each day. I was very pleased with Mike and his team and would use him again. I just hope I don't have to. Thanks Mike and Team

The toilet in my master bathroom flooded the master bedroom. I contacted Mike and he and his brother came over to remove the water, rip out the carpet and baseboards, and start the drying process. Just like last time, Mike was incredibly nice and professional. I can't recommend STOP enough. I hope I never have another flood, but if I do, I wouldn't trust anyone but Mike.

We were extremely happy with the work done by Mike Mendoza from Service Team of Professionals. He was a very personable young man who was very professional. He was considerate of our time and always made arrangements to work around our availability. He assessed the damage and pulled up the laminate flooring, round board and baseboards that were ruined. He then placed two fans and a dehumidifier in the room to dry up the water. He also sprayed an antimicrobial to help r***** the growth of mold. He came by everyday to check on the progress and stayed in touch with us throughout the process. I appreciated the fact that he treated us so nicely and helped us through a difficult situation. It was evident that he cares about what he does and the clients he's working for. I would definitely have him back again to do other work for us.

I wish I could give A pluses. Mike provided excellent customer service from start to finish. He helped me with things that weren't part of his job. I felt comfortable with him right away. You can immediately tell that he not just a professional, but a good man. As for the finished product - forget "like it never even happened." This is "better than before it happened."

Michael and his team showed up fully ready to perform the job. The damaged ceiling was taken down, the drying process was begun, and all debris was removed from my home in less than 2 hours. I was given the name of several plumbers to ensure that the root cause of the problem was repaired in a timely manner. Michael continually monitored the progress of the dry-out process and did so ensuring his visits were at my convenience. Once the dry-out was complete, Michael ensured that I had names and numbers of people to put my ceiling back to rights. Michael has been in contact with me to ensure that I am completely satisfied with the people that he recommended. That in itself makes this team of professionals number one in my book.

After the water leak was detected the service team professionals (STOP) were notified and responded to the scene very quickly. They showed up prepared and ready to work. They removed the affected materials skillfully, safely, and quickly. They were polite and demonstrated a professional attitude throughout the entire process. They answered all my questions and answered all my phone calls in a timely manner. Based on their overall performance, i highly recommend contacting STOP for all water restoration work that unfortunately damaged your house or business.

When we arrived home after a President's Day weekend trip, we were greeted with water damage from our water heater. There was water all over the garage floor. Water had soaked the drywall pedestal and alcove and lower wall where the water heater was located.The alcove is back to back with our front door entry way. There was water all over the tile entryway and the lower wall and molding were soaked. Additionally there was water damage along the entire route from the front door through the living room and hallway to the back door leading out the water heater and beyond. The carpet was soaked, the pad was soaked, the back door frame leading into the house, molding all the way around... It was a mess. My husband turned off the water to the water heater and called Michael early the next morning. Michael explained to my husband what needed to be done and Gabe (his employee) started working immediately removing drywall and molding and preparing everything for the dry-out. We paid Michael the first half of our insurance deductible that day. My brother in law, who is also a contractor came by and supervised the work and had nothing but good to say. Everything was being done properly and according to code. All the drywall and molding was removed, carpet was pulled up, padding removed and high powered fans were installed to dry everything out. The fans were loud and this was a multiple day process. The fans were installed on Monday evening and removed on Friday morning. (We were blessed to have homeowner's insurance that paid for us to go to a hotel for the duration of that part of the work!) After the dry-out stage was completed, Gabe returned and began to reinstall and patch the drywall. Another subcontractor came in and finished that and then began the painting and molding replacement. In the process it was discovered that there was no firewall protection installed around the back door of our home. Michael saw to it that the entire unprotected area was exposed and properly protected before the drywall could be replaced there. After the alcove and pedestal were replaced and painted, Michael brought in a plumber and his team to do the install of the new water heater. Everything was completed to our satisfaction. And the insurance company sent someone to haul away the old water heater. Next, the carpet and padding was replaced. This was the most challenging part of the job, I think. I told Michael that I wanted it all to be like this never happened. Well, trying to find the exact match and to match the existing padding was tricky to say the least. What we had had been installed 7 years ago. It took Michael quite a while to find the best match, which meant a lot of running all over town looking at different show rooms and bringing back samples for my input. When it was all said and done, Michael made sure that I was completely satisfied with the work before calling it done. I am glad we worked with Michael (Service Team of Professionals). Michael has some really good, professional, prompt, courteous subcontractors working with him. A great team! My feedback was always valued and honored. Michael showed concern when I questioned various parts of the process and he was responsive to my concerns. I truly felt like I had an angel watching over this job because Michael was involved. He went the extra mile, and he was flexible with my schedule. Now that the work is all done, you'd be hard-pressed to find any evidence that anything was ever amiss. It looks like nothing ever happened. Just like I asked.
