Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Prompt, courteous, and performed the job quickly - but at what the internet quoted at the highest end of the range for a job like this.

Cleared clogged sink drain Kitchen sink was clogged somewhere after the drain catch. Called Roto-Rooter at 8:15am by 8:45am a tech was at my house. Ran a snake down 40ft of drain to clear the line took about 20 minutes. drain was working tech said I had a 6-month warranty if it gets clogged again, call them back and they would fix it at no charge. Tech provided grate services and was very professional.

The technician and the company were very responsive. The lady called me twice telling me when the technician would be onsite. She even called back and checked to see if he could come earlier than she previous told me. He ran the snake twice and make sure he went all the way down the pipes to make sure he had is cleaned out well. Overall he was onsite for about 45 minutes and was very professional.

2 techs arrived and observed the leak. They turned he water off, replaced washers and turned the water back on. They were very professional.

Josh(service Tech) was very neat and the quality of workmanship was way above average. Impressive

Josh supplied all the materials and provided quality workmanship accomplishing the work at hand in a timely manner. Will definitly use this guy for future plumbing needs

Technician was very professional. Came out on a Sunday and fixed water main leak. Couldn't have best for better service.

I was very pleased with how quickly they got someone over here. He was very friendly and did a good job explaining the problem and replacing the valve. Overall, a bit pricey but I think that's typical for any plumbing service.

The Roto Rooter tech showed up within ten minutes of when his office said he would arrive. He came in and went to work immediately. After assessing the problem, the tech indicated the cost for clearing the drain(s) was $295.00, a per job price, not an hourly priced. Once we (my wife and I) agreed to go forward with the work, the tech ran the power "snake" through the bathtub drain until the clog cleared, which also immediately allowed the lavatory drain to function correctly. The tech ran water into the tub several times to assure the drain was thoroughly cleared and draining correctly. Then, he ran the snake through a second time "just to be sure." I mentioned that we had found his company through Angie's List,and he said that he had noticed that on his work order. The final price was $215.00. That was $80.00, less than the initial price quoted! The drains are working perfectly and the tech informed us that there is a 6 (six) month warranty on his work. This was our first experience with Angie's List, and it worked out wonderfully! We are very pleased and will certainly use Angie's List for any future issues!

Roto Rooter was willing to come on a Saturday of a holiday weekend to look at the water heater and change it out. They also pointed out 2 additional problems that they fixed at a discount. Very friendly, responsive and helpful.

The workman didn't bring all of the equipment he needed and didn't seem too familiar with what he was doing. Their guarantee was 6 months.

Had a main line back up, called several plumbers in the area none could respond in a timely fashion with the exception of Roto-Rooter. They showed up on time and for a reasonable price. House is plumbed somewhat incorrectly, Kris the service technician diagnosed the problems and cleared out the clog in the main line. While here I also asked to install new toilet in downstairs bath since the old stool had to be removed to clear out clog. Very professional service, will use again.

Technicians arrived within a pointed time & did what was needed. Cleaned up & I am very pleased with the service that was done.

I called after 4pm on 4/27/2015. I was given an arrival time of between 8-11am on 4/28/2015. I was called at 7:40am on 4/28/2015 and was told a tech was on the way. He arrived just a few minutes after 8am. I explained the problem and he went right to work. I think it took him about a couple of hours to clear it since he had to go into the crawl space and cut some pipes and then mend them to get at the clog. It all went so easily. I have dealt with other plumbers and all they want to do is talk and make a mess. But not this guy. I will always use them from now on!

Had a plugged bathroom sink. They attempted to unplug the sink, but broke their snake in my drain. I'm hopeful the broken piece isn't still in my drain. Said they would need to break through the tile under my sink to get to drain (not necessary - they could have gotten to pipe through utility wall with drywall). The less they were able to fix the drain, the higher the price became. They snaked a lot - and never found the clog. Next was to fix pipe under house - $1000 + Sent them home, but had to pay the $160 service call. So, I basically hired someone to come into my home and damage my new sink and make a mess of my bathroom. Not happy at all! A friend fixed my clog, first going through the utility wall which backs to the bathroom - then ended up replacing a short piece of pipe under the house (crawlspace). Thank God for that friend. I will NEVER call these guys again. And they weren't even nice about the whole thing.

We had a bad clog in a 150 ft sewer line that another servicer could not clear. This was cleared the same day in a very professional manner. A clean out port had to be added to the long line outside and this work was all done in the same day.

The plumbing repair people were on top but the restoration was not what I expect. We weren't given notification on the things that should be done and then they bought an enormous dryer, but it ran on a sort of generator and it quit on Sunday. It literally ran out of fuel, that's what happened. There was a lot of down time because of that and then they showed out but they didn't have enough extension cord to do the fans so we have to provide some of those. The plumbing repair I was happy but the restoration I was not. There was a difficulty in trying to communicate with people. They have the wrong person as the insured and they sent me the invoice; they also put at the bottom that I was already past due on the invoice when I just received it then it was a wrong name on it. It seems that he was not a really good deal but I take my responsibility seriously. The office people were wonderful and on top of things it was just the person in charge of the job.

Called service at midnight because of flooding in downstairs. Husband was able to get water under control, so we told them it was't an emergency. Technician arrived the next morning. He worked quickly and efficiently. We would use them again.

When the commode was flushed, sewage was coming up into the bathtub. a plumber came to remove the clog. The plumber was unable to locate the cleanout line that was buried in the back yard. The commode was taken up from the floor to snake out the sewer line on two occasions. The sewage backup would return in a few days. . The third call was to Roto-Rooter plumbing. The plumber probed the back yard in alinement with roof sewer vent to locate the cleanout line in a short time. The cleanout line was drained and the clogged removed. A cap was placed at ground level to access the cleanout line. Thanks to the Roto-Rooter plumber's abilities and tools, the sewer line is draining well and I have access to my cleanout line.

Call after 6:00pm. He arrived before 8:00pm. Ran sewer snake and drains appeared to be clear. Early next morning after household showers and bathroom useage. Drains became clogged again. Called early that morning, his estimated time to return 6:00pm. arrived a little after 6. He removed toilet and ran clean-out tool several times. Drains were cleared. No trouble since. He charged 400 the first call, 200 the next call. Ask about finding clean-out plug outside house. Must be covered up???? Estimated charge 600.00 dollars. Haven't scheduled???

We called at 9:00pm on Tuesday night. Service man arrived at 9:45. He was nice and professional. With two small children and no working toilets we needed help. However the problem persisted the next day and they had to send someone else. They ultimately fixed the problem and didn't charge for second visit. I would use again.

I was having problems with sewer backing up every week into my basement. I had it snkaed 3 times by another company but he couldn't tell what was causing the backup. I had yet another company come out to put a camera in the pipe but he broke the camera and nothing was accomplished. I called Roto Rooter and they cam out the next day and put a camera in the pipe and marked the area of breakage. He gave me an appx cost and would begin the work after July 4th and that it would proabably take two days. That was if there was no other issues after they dug down. The doug 6 feet down replaced 8ft of pipe and put the back fill and a clean out and did it all in a day. It has been 2 weeks and so far my water is flowing out and not coming back. Yeah!

The work went well. Work was quickly done. A few days after the fact, the clog occurred again. Called and someone was out within an hour or 2. Just needed to go futher in the drain and no additional charge for this service call.

From the first call to Shawn coming when he said he would, fixing the problem and guaranteeing the work, we would not hesitate to use them again. As much a plumbing can be, it was a pleasure.
