Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup

Description of Work: Arrived in the very early part of the estimated arrival time period. They were the only company who responded. I would like to see a published price list versus pricing based on commission after they arrive on site.

Description of Work: On May 12th Our washing machine overflowed from the drainage pipe causing minor damage to our utility room. Luckily my Wife was at the washer at the time and was able to cut it off quickly thus preventing what could have been a serious problem. Thinking the sewer line might be blocked we called Roto Rooter. Within 30 minutes the Serviceman (Brian) answered the call. He explained that it was a common for the washer drain to become blocked as it also generally handled the waste from the kitchen disposer/sink as well as the washing machine. He snaked the line out behind the washer and corrected the problem within 15 minutes. To do this he had to unhook and pull out from the wall both the washer and dryer. When finished he hooked them Back up tested the washer, leveled it, and cleaned up everything spotless. He even took the time to explain to us measures we could take to prevent sewer line back-up and products we might use to help prevent such. We asked him if he could take the time to check our sewer line from the garage and he was happy to do so. He took the cap off the sewer drain and told us to flush the commode and turn the water on in the bathroom sink at the same time. He said everything was fine and did not try to sell us a bill of goods. Brian had a great disposition, he came in with a smile on his face and left the same way. I think we were lucky to have him respond to our request for service and I know Roto Rooter is lucky to have him as an employee. Description of Work: Unstopped drain

Description of Work: We had the main drain from the house running r-e-a-l-l-y slow. From the first call to Shawn coming when he said he would, fixing the problem and guaranteeing the work, we would not hesitate to use them again. As much a plumbing can be, it was a pleasure.

Description of Work: Had to clean out a clogged drain that was clogged way down the pipe.

Description of Work: diagnose water heater, drain and remove, pick up new 5 gal. water heater and install. The service tech cleaned up after himself, very pleasant and professional.

Description of Work: This is a follow up to a previous post - the work has been completed. After 5 years of chronic problems with sewer back up and slow washer draining, I got tired of fighting with local plumbers who would do a 15 min quick fix only to have the problem return. I called RR to come out with camera to find out the cause. The tech was able to identify 2 separate problems - one fell on the city to repair - the other I was responsible for. The tech was very professional and knew what he was doing. For the washer line repair I could have gotten estimates but felt most comfortable with RR doing the repair - I knew it would be done right. And it was. All my questions were answered and the site was left cleaner than when RR got here!

Description of Work: Had 5 years of chronic sewer issues - toilets not flushing, backing up into shower - had local plumbers come out - they would ream the lines and get tree roots - sometimes it lasted for years - other times it lasted only 3 days. No local plumber had camera. Called Roto Rooter and they brought the camera out - they reamed the lines out to 110 ft then put the cameral down. Found breach in line that was city's responsibility. Called city and told them what was found on camera - they came out and concurred. City repaired the line on their nickel - saved me $4000. Technician was here 2 hours and worked diligently to find the problem and would not leave until he was sure of exactly what was going on. Worth every nickel I paid them. Will be using them again - in fact they are due here to day as we also found breach in washer drainage line - they will be cutting concrete patio and replacing line - cost to me is $2800. I know they are a little more than others, but they know what they are doing and will use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: I had a stuffed up toilet that I could not unclog. Called RR came promptly and snaked out the toilet. Job was done quickly and professionally. No problem since.

Description of Work: We had them come out to do a drain cleaning in the shower. They spent maybe 15 minutes and charged $229. When we called to ask why it was so costly, we were told this was the corporate standard pricing. We should have just found someone else once we got the quote and will next time.
