Rakeman Plumbing

Completed draining & removed old water heater. Had to order a larger replacement unit than the one first delivered. It came in about an hour, and three technicians put it into place. They showed me the steps for shut off, changing water temp, and where my main water line was located.

They have done pretty good. I give them an A overall on service. I think they did a really good job. I think really it is just price, I was super happy with the service and their technician. I guess I paid for the quality of the people but it was all more expensive so that could be improved.

Rakeman was the second plumbing company I called to fix a leak and clogged drain under my kitchen sink. The first company could not do the job until Monday. My leak had to be fixed as soon as possible as I had a house full of out of town visitors. I called Rakeman. An hour or so later Mike was there. He explained what he was going to do and he did it quickly and professionally. Yes, I would use this company again and I will recommend them.

The price was reasonable. They are excellent. We have used them now for about three times.

Doc was very personable and professional and answered all of our questions, and we could tell he was very knowledgeable. Needless to say, we will have Doc come out again so he can install our new faucets, kitchen sink, faucet, and garbage disposal. . ' Mike was on time and very professional and explained what needed to be done. Who ever installed the toilet before did not install it properly and the bolts rusted out .Now it is sealed properly and looks very neat and level. He also fixed the leak in the toilet tank with a new flapper. We are very satisfied. This is the second time we have used Rakeman Plumbing and will call them again if we need service and would recommend them to friends.

cALLED AROUND 830 AND THEY HAD SOMEONE OUT BY 1100 ALLWOING ME TIME TO PICK UP MY DOG FROM THE GROOMER. cALLED AT 1030 TO SAY THEY'D BE THERE AT 11 IF THAT WAS OK. aND THEY WERE THERE ON TIME. vERY POLITE AND HELPFUL IN FINDING THE PROBLEM. oFFERED TO WAIT ON INSTALLING A FAUCET IF i WANTED TO GO PICK ONE OUT BUT THE ONE THEY HAD ON THE TRUCK WAS FINE SO THEY INSTALLED THAT WHILE THEY WERE THERE.

Tech very professional, work was neat and the tech cleaned up after himself. All within an hour of arriving just a bit early for his appointment time. Even though we called on Saturday afternoon on Memorial Day Weekend, they showed up the next day (Sunday) and only charged me their normal hourly rate.

He fixed all problems quickly and efficiently. He was friendly even when we kept adding more services needed. We explained what the toilets, faucet, shower were doing and he was quick to respond with an easy solution. We expected to pay a great deal more than we were billed for. We are satisfied with the quality and quickness of service.

I was very impressed with every aspect of working with this company. When I called to schedule the service call, I was asked if I wanted someone out the same day. Since this was not an emergency I told them no, and I scheduled for a convenient time. Gene arrived well within the time frame that I was told that he would arrive, and he got right to work. I was impressed from the beginning with his expertise, his professionalism and his attention to detail. As is usually the case when I have a problem, nothing is simple and nothing goes according to script. Gene fixed some issues in the sink drain that had probably been there since the house was built. He also found that the sink had cracked, so I will be seeing Gene again when we pick out a new one. When he went to replace the toilet the old flange had completely disintegrated. Another plumber who had worked on the old toilet in the past had not even bolted the toilet down, and Gene said that he probably didn't want to replace the flange (which Gene did). I was shown everything as the work progressed, and the final bill was much less than I expected (thanks in part to a 15% discount through Angie's List). When I have a plumbing issue in the future, I will call Rakeman.

The foreman promised that the re-plumb and repaint would be done in three days and it would be like they were never there. The only thing that Rakeman lived up to was it that it really did look like nobody was actually there. The walls were still untextured and unpainted when we came back to the house. Chrome cover plates were replaced by plastic. Workers damaged fixtures, surfaces, and walls in rooms that they were not working. Counter was chipped when dishwasher was moved. Cabinet was scratched with tools that were left on top while work was being done. Workers were sent to make repairs and fix the damage but they broke or ignored something new every time they returned. Office folks handling the work never called back and were regularly unavailable during much of the work day (at lunch for long hours). I do not write reviews often but their performance and concern was so poor I just can't hope that folks stay away from large contracts with these folks who just could not seem to handle the work.

Provider came out, assessed the situation, and sent two men to do the repair the following morning. The workers promptly located the leak, where a tree root had pushed against a pipe, and they had it repaired. They were efficient in their cleanup of this messy job, and when they were finished, it looked as though nothing had ever been wrong. All involved?the workmen and the staff?were friendly, professional, and helpful. I'm very happy with Rakeman Plumbing, and I will continue to call this great company anytime I need plumbing help in the future.

Excellent coordination by the head office. The lady running the dispatch desk is professional, courteous and punctual. Jim the plumber completed all the work as promised with no hitches. He was very respectful of my property and took extra precautions to prevent collateral damage. Pricing is straight forward and very fair. Nothing even slightly negative to report. I will use them again and would recommend this company for any residential plumbing project.

I had low water flow (hot water) coming from my kitchen faucet. Had been like this for awhile and finally needed to do something about it... I called the office at 8:30 in the morning. Was told a technician would be to my house by 1:00pm (same day). I got a call around 10:30am, telling me they were on the way. Brad arrived shortly after, quickly found the problem and fixed it. I will call them again when needed. Thank you!

It was fine. He did a good job. The faucet sleeve was broke under the handle, he tightened it and suggested replacing the faucet would be cheaper in the long run.

Brad did a great job. He was exceptionally competent, fast, and attentive to detail. If I need any additional services, I'll specifically request his help from Rakeman Plumbing. Thanks again Brad.

Called the company at 0800 and their representative was at my home before 1100 am that day. Immediately found the problem in the wall / ceiling and fixed the leak quickly. The house water was turned back on to make sure the leak was fixed. I also had the rep look at two other longstanding bathroom issues: water was leaking from the base of one toilet and another bathroom faucet was not working. Once again, the problem was quickly discovered and fixed. The company responded quickly, the representative was professional and knowledgeable, took care of all three problems and the cost was very reasonable. Very pleased.

The job went well, but the wait time was a problem. We called at 6:30 the previous night to set up the appointment and were told they would call the next day when they were "on the way." They called the next day before 9 and said they would be by "late morning." But the plumber didn't show up until nearly 3 with no explanation. At least we had a 15% off Angie's coupon, but it was frustrating sitting around all day...

Gene took the time to do the job right. Next time I need plumbing I'll request Gene. I've had about 5 different plumbing companies at the house for various small jobs and they all told me a different story trying to sell me their own product. Gene just got the job done.

Called Rakeman Plumbing and requested Mic to replace a leaking kitchen faucet. Mic had previously installed two water heaters. Mic arrived with a helper Anthony and Mic took out two old faucets and a soap dispenser and replaced with new Delta pulldown faucet and soap dispenser. Took less than an hour - Mic did most of the work - Anthony helped and the clean up was great. Mic also put a sprayer on an additional kitchen faucet at another sink and Anthony even filled the new soap dispenser. They were very good and will hire again if plumbing is needed. Very happy with their service and charges.

I had a flood in my house, I did not know where the water was coming from. I called Rakeman plumbing because I trust them and I used them before on Angie's List. They told me to shut off the water to the house, which I did. Corky came out to the house, found the leak right a way. Went out to his truck and got the part that was needed.He came in to the house and fixed the leak.He was polite, curtious, and very neat. I am so impressed with Rakeman plumbing and their employees. I can not thank them enough.They are the most honest company that I have used in Las Vegas. THANK YOU, THANK YOU. I will always use Rakeman plumbing.

The technician, Randy, was very easy to talk to and extremely professional and caring. I would probably use this company for other plumbing needs since he made a very good impression upon my husband and me. Unfortunately, the price quoted for installing a new instant water heater to my hot water system was higher than the other estimates we received.

Successfully re routed line. Followed my request which limited all restoration to garage.

I discovered that my water heater went out yesterday evening. The techs were in my building for another owner's problem. They gave me a price and said they could replace it today. I got a call this morning saying a tech would be there within an hour. The tech arrived promptly within the hour. The tech, Gene, was courteous and professional. He completed the exchange of heaters without making a mess. He cleaned up as he went along. He explained actions I could take to increase the life of my water heater. I was happy that the company could schedule the work right away so I didn't bother to comparison shop, even though I felt their price was somewhat high. They also charged an extra amount because the unit was above the first floor even though there was an elevator. They also did not have a senior discount.

It went outstandingly. A little story first: A few years ago, a smart man told me ?If you want a plumbing company that is ethical, honest, and highly skilled call Rakeman Plumbing.? This kind man happened to possess a thorough expertise of the Las Vegas plumbing industry and contractors, and also all things water in the Las Vegas valley. He was a bit of a consumer activist also, and truly became offended and angry when he learned of scammed consumers. He had nothing to gain personally or professionally by recommending Rakeman, but had knowledge of their great reputation in our community and understood their professionalism. Today I realize how correct he was and simply wonder what took me so long. To begin with, the Rakeman office staff (like receptionists, schedulers) Kristina, Dawn and Ashley were so polite when I called, genuinely nice, and customer oriented. They had what I call ?voices with smiles.? They were wonderful. So that was the amazing beginning of my relationship with Rakeman. But wait ? there?s so much more. Arriving promptly within the designated window of time was Tommy, a skilled, efficient and kind plumber who truly represents Rakeman in the most outstanding way. I chose to watch Tommy to see a trained professional at work, and he was meticulous and efficient, and had a thorough knowledge of his field. He was kind also and extremely patient, answering all my questions. I was trying to learn a few tips from him, and I was fascinated (due to my limited ability) when he dismantled and replaced parts?not that I ever want to do that, but I was impressed watching. I was so relieved to have an honest, skilled and kind plumber in Tommy. Probably removal of the water filtration system under my sink took the most time, and Tommy was so meticulous when he did the work. I want to note that he was very tidy and organized, and he finished each job leaving the area worked on in pristine condition. Also, I felt 100% comfortable with him doing this work in my house. Now I will tell all of my family and friends, ?if you want an honest plumbing company, call Rakeman.? And for me, I will ask for Tommy for my next plumbing job. In the event he is not available, I?ll be sad?but I have full confidence Rakeman employs a group of outstanding plumbers that will improve the quality of my life with their repairs!
