Description of Work: Jim arrived right on time to replace our water heater. Just before installation I expressed my concern over the warranty of the new water heater since it was only for 6 years, Jim made a call and was able to provide a 10-year warranty by changing out a part. There was a bit of an extra charge but it was worth it to me to have the extended warranty. I highly recommend Rakeman for all your plumbing needs.

Description of Work: My drains were plugged and not draining. They came out in about 2 hours and snaked the main line. Mike was very nice, professional and conscientious.

Description of Work: I called to set up an appointment to fix our water. We set the appointment For the next day. About 3:00 on the day of the appointment they called to reschedule for the next day, they we got a no call no show the second day. I won't be calling again.

Description of Work: We had a plugged up toilet in our second bathroom. I had plunged it until I was tired and agrivated and no results. I had used Rakeman years before with good results. So I called and spoke with a woman and explained my issue. She listened and told me I needed a plumbers snake to clear the problem and it would be $112. I asked if I qualified for senior discount? She said absolutely. The servieman arrived within the promised time frame. He finished the job successfully and cleaned up his area afterward. He explained that the use of disposable wet wipes were the problem. The bill was discounted as promised and was less than $100.

Description of Work: After trying to remove a hose that would not come off, our outdoor spigot sprung a leak on a Saturday evening. After checking Angies list, I contacted Rakeman Plumbing and received a phone call on Sunday. They sent someone out within an hour on Sunday afternoon and fixed the problem. I was so grateful to have my problem fixed as soon as possible rather than have to wait till Monday!

Description of Work: Wow.....where to start? First, I must say that I am so pleased and impressed by the service that I had from Terry....he is awesome! I will totally request him for any additiional services in the future. He was here for about 5 1/2 hours and never flinched! :) I had several things that I needed done....2 bathroom faucets that needed to be replaced (one was a leaker), I had a leak in the tub faucet and I needed the guts in two toilets changed out....the flush valves in both were leaking. He also had to replace a couple of the turn off valves since they did not work anymore (which I did not know but I"m so glad he caught!). It was a long morning for Terry!! When I told him that I had found Rakeman on Angie's List he asked me if I had printed out the coupon for 15% off labor. I said that my printer was broken and that I had forgotten to print it out at work the day before. He made a call to the office and they told him that if I could bring up the coupon on my computer, he could take a picture of it with his phone and send it to them to be printed out so I was able to get that 15% off!! Very impressive!!! Thank you Rakeman and Terry for the excellent customer service and work that you did.....I will be using you for any plumbing issues in the future!! Julie Driscoll

Description of Work: Repair of the main water line near the meter. Required digging out around the meter, making the repair and re- filling the hole. Due to the location, all work was done by hand. Even though the work, due to the difficult location and condition, extended well into the late evening, the work was completed in one visit.
