Wonderful job. We've used Rakeman for several years and Bill has been the responding tech several times at our address -- he's terrific.

Main sewer line was clogged. Plumber found the backwater valve flapper was broken. took less than 30 mins to do the job. paid 91.80 for first hour on labor (15% angies list coupon) and $54.18 for the part. Dont know how much a backwater valve cost at home depot but overall im satisfied.

Rakeman plumbing has the happiest employees I've ever seen. Bill was courteous and professional and did a lot of stuff in less than hour. He obviously knows his craft and seems to really enjoy what he does. I love that they tell you on your initial call that they was call you when the plumber is 30 minutes out. I have used Rakeman Plumbing before and they still had all my info on file even though it's been years since I needed them. About 30 minutes later, I received call that the plumber was on his way and Bill was at my door in almost exactly 30 minutes. He had assessed the problem and gave me a quick solution and was gone within in the hour. My day was hardly bumped off schedule. Some people would have let this ruin their day. I think that because Bill is a professional that does his job with a smile made my day go smoother as well and he averted a major disaster in my home. He probably saved me 10 times what I paid that day. These guys are the best.

Called company at 9:00 am and the problem was fixed by 10:30 am. Cost was reasonable, service was prompt, estimate over the phone, and professionalism. After giving me a quote on the phone, the company even stated there were discounts for several groups and asked me if I fit into one of those. I told them no, but I had found them on Angies list and there was a 15% coupon. They asked me to print the coupon and gave me the 15% off from the original quote. Overall, very satisfied.

They were good. They came out and gave me an estimate. They were on time when they had to come out to do the work. They did the work correctly and were neat and clean. I would use them again in the future.

I called around 10:45 and by 12:45 job was completed,and I was on to eating lunch. Kris is a credit to his profession. Thank you Rakeman,and Angies list.

I've used Rakeman in the past and every time, the service, professionalism and price have been excellent. Within 5 minutes of my call, they said a technician was on his way. The technician, Junior, had been to my house before and was very courteous and pleasant, even inquiring about things we had chatted about at the last service call. Within minutes, he was able to diagnose the problem (something a previous handyman couldn't figure out) and said it would be a quick and easy fix. I used the 15% coupon from Angie's List and he was here and done within 30 minutes. I highly recommend Rakeman Plumbing as I've had nothing but great experiences with them.

Arrived as scheduled...crew covered all flooring and furniture in area to be re plumbed...holes cut in drywall to locate pipes that needed to be replaced...re plumb was completed in one day...We had to wait for the County inspector to arrive and sign off on work...County agent told me he had followed this crew all across town, and "they do very good work"...that really made me feel better...After inspector signed off, drywall crew arrived to patch and repair drywall...then paint crew came in with matched paints, and completed their work...extra paint was left with us...I appreciated that very much...last a cleaning crew came in to wipe off affected areas...not a major cleaning...but it still helped...Everyone involved was very nice, and really wanted to be sure we were happy with all their work...and we are!

There is nothing good about putting one's family in a hotel for 4 days (at our own expense) while a plumbing company tears apart the house to fix a construction defect made by a builder who is still building homes about 300 yards away after filing for bankruptcy protection. Sorry. I'll contain my hatred toward this whole settlement process and Woodside Homes long enough to share some wonderful comments about the great plumbing company that did the work. Rakeman was a truly professional operation from beginning to end. Rocky came out to inspect the house and explained the whole process in great detail. When the work started, the Rakeman crew under Joaquine's excellent leadership, showed extraordinary care in protecting our stuff by covering everything with plastic and the workers were extremely polite and respectful of our home. These guys took care of business and worked continuously from morning to evening. I don't even remember them stopping for lunch! I had a huge concern about stucco cutting and wasn't entirely comfortable with the alternative course of action regarding moving my pool autofill. Joaquine, sensing my anxiety, worked to find an workable alternative I could live with. In the end, the house was put back together perfectly as promised, and Rakeman even sent a housekeeping crew over to tidy things up afterward. In addition to being highly rated on Angie's List, a query of the Nevada Board of Contractors website showed the company has a clean contractors license. Rakeman earned my trust and I won't hesitate to use the company for future plumbing needs.

Rakeman does not make appointments for estimates, which is inconvenient for individuals that work. They only provide the day they will we out and a 30 minute lead time. I waited for the call from the Service department until 11:30 AM then called to see if they could give me an approximate time. The individual said she couldn't. I then told her that I would wait a bit longer but would have to cancel, due to work commitments, if I did not get a call soon. I received a call within 30 minutes. I do not know if this was a coincidence or not. The technician arrived at my home within 30 minutes of the phone call from the Service department. He then attempted to duplicate the leak by turning on the tub faucet and shower, but nothing happened. He made a hole in the ceiling to see if he could detect where the leak was coming from but because the leak did not start, he was unable to. The technician suggested we watch the hole and call when the leak starts again so he could return. Technician then folded the plastic cover he placed over the television and TV cabinet and vacuumed the area. He wrote up the work order, collected the check, and departed.

Installed water softener as requested. Showed up on time and completed installation of Sears water softener. Even called the next day to make sure there were no leaks. My only surprise was $128 in parts...the estimate did not mention this possibility.

Ryan arrived on time (they call 30 minutes ahead) within the 4 hour window. He was very courteous and professional. He worked fast and had the work done in a much shorter period of time than I expected. He cleaned up afterwards and had the old toilet removed.The quality of his work was excellent. It was a pleasant plumbing experience for a change. Thanks to Angie's List!!

Everything went as expected. The technician was very expereienced, polite, and personable. He did the work on a time and material basis and got the job done promptly. I would use them again anytime I need plumbing services.

We would recommend them. They did a wonderful job. It was a class action suit. The cost was about $5000. We had more plumbing done with it that we spent about a $1000 on the extra things that we did. The first day they started by taping off everything and protecting the house as much as they could because they actually had to open the walls up inside and saw through the walls which was going to cause a lot of dust and everything. They did a lot of protecting of the house and the flooring. They did a lot of work the second day by actually running all the plumbing and the inspector had to come out before they could continue with any work. The second day they put back the drywall that they had cut out. They got it ready for the painter and they had to mud the walls and everything. The painter came the third day and then there was an inspector in there again. The third day when they were finished with all of that stuff, they actually had the cleaners come in to clean the house. They took all the plastic up and cleaned the house and the floors. They did all these in 3 days. They were awesome and it was a wonderful service.

I was very pleased with their work. They did all of this under warranty work and came out the next day. The water heater was the one that came with my new home and it was still under the warranty. This company had the replacement in stock.

Very good. Kris worked less time than I was told the jobs will take. Hence the lower final price. All was done great! Will use the company again in the future.

Junior arrived in about 30 minutes. He was very quick to troubleshoot the problem and had all work done in about an hour. I could tell he was very experienced and he made me feel like I could rely on his recommendations. He was surprisingly cautious about any messes. He placed mats down and even put wheel covers on his snake machine to protect my carpet. My house looks like nothing was ever wrong.

Service technician Kris Jay (#22) arrived promptly on 10/12/11, diagnosed the problem and returned the next day with the part to replace the tub spout. The repair stopped the leaking which might have caused a major problem. Kris also assisted in obtaining the correct measurements for a replacement toilet in the same area. Once purchased we will definitely call Rakeman Plumbing to perform the work.

They've been to my home in the past, too. They were prompt, they gave me some approximate hours they would be there and they were there within that time frame. They called when they were on their way and the employee that came out was presentable, easy to talk to and I explained the issue so he knew exactly what I wanted. He finished it up pretty quickly.

I called Rakeman this morning after two days of leaving other companies messages that were never returned. Their dispatcher was very friendly and professional. She told me someone would be here in the next 30 minutes and she was right. Junior showed up promptly and took care of the clog in no time. He was a polite young man, knowledgeable and very professional. He explained everything he was doing and why. Having just bought my house there are so many things I don't know about it. Junior took the time to show me how to find an important sewer access and offered useful advice. I will be using Rakeman in the future. They were quick, painless and reasonable. Overall I'm very happy.
