It was excellent. She had other people come out and they were just cocking around the toilet and they weren’t fixing the actual problem. He got to the root of the problem. I got the same day service. They were on time. I liked that he didn’t point problems but did it. He was very helpful as my mom wanted to change a light and he did that. He was very respectful of the situation because my mom was hurt. They gave excellent service. He did it in half an hour.

Very prompt and very professional. The job went smoothe and was given hints on how to maintain drain pipes and etc. I would hire again even though I am alergic to cigarette smoke. I would share my review ONLY if my name and address is not used.

They came out and could not find out what was wrong, came out again to double check my problem. They were wonderful. They were very honest with me on problems and did not charge me for coming out 2 times

Tommy showed up on time as promised. Called at about 10:20 a.m. on a Sunday and he was here at 11:15!! Took care of business and was gone by 11:45. After calling two other places (one last night with a promise to show up at 9 a.m. this morning & never called or showed) this man/company was very refreshing!! Corky did a great job, was quick to fix the problem and the cost was very fair. We were very satisfied. We live out of state its hard to find an honest contractor it was so refreshing to find Rakeman Plumbing. They did a great job we would highly recommend them.

6/24 Plumber arrived as scheduled. Received a price quote. I presented my Angie Coupon and was asked, "Did you tell the office you had this coupon?" I answered that I didn't remember, but why should that matter? He said he would honor the coupon. The coupon would save me $100 on the labor. I left the plumber to his task. A few minutes later the plumber knocked on the door to tell me, "I forgot to include the cost of the building permit." I asked how much that would be, and I was told (coincidentally) $100. My coupon savings disappeared. New water heater was installed. I received a bill for $827.13 ... This amount was $100 more than the quoted price. I paid the plumber. He left. I added up the charges on the invoice, and discovered that I had been OVER charged $96. Contacted Rakeman Plumbing to inform them of their addition error on the bill. I also inquired about the building permit for the water heater. Was told someone would get back to me about the bill, and that the person who handles the permits wasn't available. 6/25 Rakeman Plumbing called back to confirm their addition error on the bill. Wanted to know how best to remedy. I told them to tear up the check I'd written, and I'd cut them a new one. I asked again about the Building Permit, again I was told the person who handles the permits was unavailable. Five minutes later, I received another call stating that they'd already deposited my check, and that they would issue me a refund check. Later that week, a refund check for $96 arrived. Today is 7/10. It has been 23 days since the service was performed. I contacted the City of Henderson to ask when the building inspector would check on the newly installed water heater. I was told by the City of Henderson that a permit had NEVER BEEN PULLED. Moreover, the cost of a City of Henderson building permit is $41, not the $100 Rakeman Plumbing charged.

Thank you very much Mike 15. After checking agies list, we called Rakeman plumbing around 10:30 am. Our dishwasher would not drain properly. I asked for an price to fix my dishwasher, they gave me an estimated price. I was happy with it. I asked how soom they could come out, expecting that it would be a few days from now, but I was surprised when they told me that they could be out in the afternoon. About 30 minutes later they called to tell me that the technician was on his way. They told me that his name was Michael, and to expect him very shortly. When Mike arrived, he checked the problem and told me what it would cost. Said that it would take about one hour. I told him to fix it. It took about an hour and I am more than satisfied. Mike was very professional, polite, and neat. I will use them every time for my plumbing needs. To top it off, I had a 15 percent discount for the angies list magazine, and they honored it with now problem. I am a very happy customer. AGAIN, THANK YOU MIKE 15.

The old water heater gave out and I called Rakeman because I had used them previously to replace the PVB. Their technician came out very promptly, assessed the situation and within 1-2 hours another truck came with the new water heater. The technicians all worked very professionally: removing the old one, advising me that it was out of code (earthquake straps, really!), and installing the new 40 gallon water heater to code and with a pan and a drain so I won't have the watery mess I had this time. Thank you, Rakeman Plumbing for your prompt and professional service.

Charlie came to the house to do a free estimate of the repair on the plumbing problem. He figured out that a drain pipe was probably broken and that it would not cost too much to repair, which was quite contrary to another estimate given that day by another company. Their guess was that a pipe was broken under the slab and would cost between $3500 and $4000 to repair. When he was recalled to do the work, he did it quickly and everything is great!

When I called, the person who answered the phone was very helpful and actually got somebody out immediately. They gave me a time frame for the job to be done, and the guy did his job very quickly. He analyzed the situation quickly, and he did a very good job! I was very happy with the work and the price. The guy was very professional!

I live in a mobile home that is about 30+ years old, so of course some things are aging out. Gargage disposble was unfrozen, they had a magic tool, toilet in guest bathroom needed replacement parts which they had and installed, cleaned out cold water faucet in vanity, and also no longer have sewer smell. Both gentlemen were courteous, cleaned up work area and knowledgeable to my problems.,

Rakeman was not able to schedule an appointment for a quote but said that they should have a technician in the area in the couple of days and that they would notify me when the technician could come by. Fortunately my job allows me the freedom to take off quickly. I received a call and they said they had someone near by and that they could be there in a few minutes. He was waiting for me by the time I got home. Jim, the plumber that was dispatched, was very nice. He looked the problem over, explained to me the two options available and that if I wanted to have him perform the repair now, he could do it. I felt no pressure from him to have him proceed. He felt he could get the job done, no matter which option needed to be employed in under two hours which was with in the amount I had budgeted for the job. Not only was he able to get it out the first try, it only took him minutes to do. Whereas I spent all weekend and purchased some special tools to try to do it myself. I was very impressed. He tested his work, cleaned up after himself and was gone. I was very pleased with the job he did.

They were able to diagnose and fix the leak in a timely manner and for a good price. He was honest, professional and friendly. We would highly recommend him.

We were unable to wash laundry, shower, run the dishwasher or any sink or flush toilets without water coming out of our floor drain in our laundry room. Our plummer, Charlie, was friendly, professional and did an excellent job. Once he examined our plumbing, noting where all the clean outs were and how all the pipes were connected to the areas of our home, he was able to fix our problem. We have several additions to our home so the plumbing and electrical can be a bit tricky. Charlie did a wonderful job and had us up and working quickly. The plumber tried a few solutions like disconnecting and draining the supply lines. I ad already cleaned the filter. He checked for leaks . He asked if he could remove the faucet. As I had purchased one the evening before, I agreed. The plumber installed the new one...perfect. He explained that something had lidged in the faucet. All of this happened in less than hour, which I ver much appreciated.

They had to charge for transportation as they were a distance away from us, but we were happy to pay. The gentleman who came out was capable and courteous, and he knew what he was doing. He solved the problem that two other plumbers were unable to help with. Rather than snaking out the drain, he took an indirect route, but it worked! He took care of a couple other preventative things for us while he was out.

He was prompt, provided excellent service at a reasonable price. Excellent service and experience.

We arranged on a Sunday by phone for someone to call Monday morning to arrange for the faucet install. On Monday we got the call, selected a time, and the plumber arrived to do the work. Jim was very pleasant and very professional. He went out of his way to do everything he could to help us out including replacing a missing valve handle with an extra part he had so it wouldn't cost us extra. The faucet looks great. Jim cleaned up completely (hauled away old junk) and everything works perfectly. They honored the Angie'sList coupon so the price was similar to what I'd have paid if I had Lowes' own install dept do the install but I may have had to wait longer for Lowes to get out here. Now that we've had experience with Rakeman we know that's who we'll call for any future plumbing needs.

I phoned Rakeman Plumbing to set up an appointment for them to come out to check on my shower drain. It was late afternoon, but they said they could have someone come out that day. I told them it was not an emergency so I asked for them to come out the following afternoon. They said they would be there between 1 and 5 pm. At about 11:30 the next morning Irene from Rakeman called and asked if their serviceman could come out sooner and I agreed that he could. The serviceman, Charlie, showed up in about 20 minutes. Charlie checked the shower and the tub in the other bath to see if they were both having a problem. Only the shower was sluggish so he popped the drain grate, cleaned the accumulated hair away and ran a shake down the drain to see if anything else was causing an obstruction. He then replaced the drain grate and everything has been working fine since. Charlie was professional, friendly and knew what he was doing.

I called Rakemans for a drippy tub spout and an exterior leak under the sidewalk. Water was coming up through some existing cracks. On 4/19/13, the first technician did not have the leak detection available, so he fixed the tub leak, and then upon my request, replaced two faucets, one for the washing machine and one exterior faucet. He was on time, friendly and courteous. That (with my 15% off 1st time customer coupon) cost $173.77 for parts and labor. I made an appointment for the exterior leak and leak detection service. Alex and Anthony came on 4/22/13. I showed them the leaking area outside, along the side of our home. They told me that leak detection would not work outside, due to the noise of traffic. It's used mostly to find interior leaks. He had a good idea where it was leaking, and said he'd need to go get a jack hammer and told me that charge is $85. He left and came back and started working. He hit the nail on the head and opened it up exactly over the pipe that was leaking. He replaced the elbows that had been originally put on with the wrong kind of glue, and replaced a total of 4 connections. He covered the pipe with pipe wrap to protect it, and cemented over the hole and cleaned the area. The charge (with my 10% off labor for returning customers Angies coupon) was $294.51. All 3 gentlemen were extremely courteous, knowledgeable and HONEST. Some other company would have gone ahead and charged me for the leak detection ($263.00) when it would not have done them any good. I will definitely use Rakeman again should I need a plumber.

I was pleased with the service and am currently in the estimate process of additional work.

This is my first experience with Rakeman Plumbing. The service man was knowledgeable, careful, and he replaced everything he had to move under the sink to get his job done. Their response time was excellent and the cost reasonable. If I need a plumber in the future I will use them.
