Dave showed up on time as promised and was able to get my door wording properly. He did the most dangerous part of the job, which was to readjust the springs. You can tell that he is experienced and was able to give me some great advice and get me back in operation. I am not sure what this would have cost since I am currently using home warranty, but just to get it done was worth it. Rob

James was very professional and courteous. He called 10 minutes before arrival and was on time. James replaced the springs which was covered under the home warranty and also replaced the rollers which was an extra charge not covered by home warranty but needed to be replaced. I would use this service again in the future.

This is the third time that we have used Cactus Garage Doors. All for the same problem which was backing into the garage door on the way out.. This time I bent the bottom two panels and the door came off the tracks. The door was stuck open and the car stuck inside the garage. I called and secretary answered right away and offered my an appointment for Saturday or an emergency appointment that day for an added charge. Because we needed access right away, we were prepared to an extra 150 emergency fee. The worker who was very professional called me to let me know he was on his way. He was very courteous and quick. He fixed the panels installed a bar for extra reinforcement along the bottom panel. He was able to get the door back on the tracks using the old pins which are holding up well (so no extra charge) . He got the door back on the tracks. All of this was completed within 3 hours of my call. If we were able to wait until Saturday the 150. fee would have been removed.

Have used Cactus Garage several times. Excellent response. Showed up when scheduled, very professional. Will request Ricardo again as needed.

They were fabulous. It was actually handled through our land lord. He was here when he said he would be here, he actually got here early but called and said I can get there early if you guys are around. He was very professional. He got it done in an amazingly short period of time. He was very personable and my 4 year old was out there wanting to assess his work and he was very sweet to her and explained what he was doing.

Cactus dispatch is wonderfully professional and prompt. Their Technician Ricardo, however, was THE RUDEST human being I have ever had the misfortune of encountering! He arrived 45 minutes early for our scheduled appointment and was just sitting outside our home. As I was just leaving to run a quick errand, I pulled along side his truck to let him know this and he refused to roll his window down and spoke only through the window. I then asked to confirm the time for the appointment, as I thought it was at 10 a.m. Without even making eye contact, he flipped his clip board in front of the window and just tapped the appointment time with his finger! Then he just turned his head and ignored me, acting like I wasn't there! I called my father to come over and handle the situation. Amazingly, Ricardo was REALLY nice to my father and couldn't have been more polite. Gave a quote of $320 to replace one broken spring which the warranty company does not cover. Needless to say, the moment Ricardo drove off we tossed his quote in the trash and called another garage door repair company who came and completed the job - - professionally. I refuse to reward horrible service with my money...so I paid it to a company that deserved it! Shame on you, Ricardo and Cactus!

Technician showed up when scheduled, quickly diagnosed the problem and quickly repaired a broken spring. Technician checked the alignment an operation of the door.

Everything went well. The gentleman was very thorough and nice.

I was pleased that the rep on the phone was honest about what they would do and explained that the inserts themselves didn't serve an actual purpose, so cutting them back wouldn't be a problem or affect the operation of the door. Although I marked "no" on whether I would use this company again, the answer really is "maybe." It would depend on the problem and whether other Angie's List companies charged the same $80 for a service call.

They were very fair. They gave us an Angie's List discount. Everything is working fine.

They were not good. We got some misinformation on them and actually because of them we were not able to use our home warranty. We did spend money with them because they came out. They took our $60 copay. What they told our home warranty company was not accurate, so our home warranty company wouldn't pay the claim. Our garage door opener is the same one that has been there since 1994. We bought the house new and that was the one that was there. They told them that it was modified and so they wouldn't do it and then they told us that it was illegal for them to modify. They weren't professional. We used another company and they told us that it was not illegal. We would not use them again in the future.

Cactus did alright, I would not go with them again because of a recommendation of another company.

We had purchased 2 garage door openers from Lowe's and purchased installation service as well. Cactus Garage Doors was the sub that Lowe's used. They called us promptly after our purchase to schedule the installation and the installer, Derek, was very professional, courteous and informative regarding the openers and placement/programming. We would definitely use them if needed in future.

I had a broken spring and a cable. I called on Tuesday and tech showed up on Thursday as promised He could have been there on Wednesday, but I couldn't be there. Tech was prompt klowledgeable and courteous

Things went very well. They were courteous, prompt, and professional. I would definitely use them again.

I'm extremely pleased with all aspects of this company. There's no doubt in my mind that, if I need garage door work done in the future, I will have no hesitation in calling this company again. From the friendly voice on the phone in the office when I called, to the tech, Ric, who came to my house, the entire experience has been a pleasant one.

Very well-right on time, tech was professional, friendly and fast. Right after the job was completed, I realized the door would not close again. I called the office and the tech was already at another job. He came back about 45 minutes later to readjust what he had fixed the first time. Was again professional and apologized for needing to return.

tech called and asked if he could come early which was great, fixes it quickly at a great price. no upselling like previous door companies.

I called late Monday and explained we needed a new spring. The woman who worked there told me it was better to get both springs done. She said the second spring was probably ready to go out. She quoted me a price. I asked for the senior discount and she lowered the price. She told me they would be there between 10 and 1 PM. Their serviceman showed up before noon. He put in 2 new springs. He checked the doors for other problems. He answered all of our questions. He was very nice. He was done in about 20 minutes.

Cactus did a really excellent job repairing the opener. They did not give me no run-arounds or anything. They are more than helpful when it comes to this work. I checked around and they were the cheapest of all companies. They were also really good at giving me ideas and tips. They even showed me how to re-program the remote. It was great.

The repairman was very polite and helpful. I would hire Cactus again.

Cactus Garage Doors showed up on time to do the repairs to my garage door opener. The men that came out to install the new gear box were very polite and courteous. We have not had any problems with the work they did and the quality of product seemed to be good.
