Dave Taylor Appliance Service

Started the day thinking I was going to end up replacing my dishwasher. Instead, they were able to find a screw that had been improperly put in by the installer, and was causing a clog. All is fixed, and for much less than I expected to pay. I have used Dave Taylor before and have always been happy with their service.

Dishonest. I would not recommend them. I have a stove that has a vent you push a button and the vent in the back of the stove comes up and goes on and he said it was fixed and he left and the thing fell apart so I had to call back but his partner came back and they told him where the screw was and he fixed it. He also changed the filters in my heater downstairs but they had to be special ordered. The order came in and it was the wrong order, wrong size so they had to send them back. So his partner came out and he told us that these particular vents were very expensive and that I could get these other certain ones just like at a hardware and they were much cheaper and the ones that Dave had gotten I have to take out twice a year take them outside and wash them down with a hose. I had a very difficult time getting up and down stairs and I cannot get down there and get that out and do that but his partner told us about these more inexpensive ones and he went over and got them himself and put them in. Dave came back with the others one that he had reordered and he told us that you cant send them back that they would not accept them back. Well he sent the first ones back why couldn't he send the second one back. What he did was jack up the price on everything else that he did and that's why we had to pay 12 or $1300 so he got it. We have a refrigerator in the bar and we were having a problem with it and Jerry had Dave. Dave took it and brought it home and was going to fix it there and he had it for about a year and a half. He would tell me he would be here one day and he wouldn't show up and then I have to call him to see when he was going to come. I never knew when he was going to show up. He thinks because I'm a woman I don't know anything.

I was refer to Dave from Bri-tech appliance services since Brian did not service the Gardnerville area. Kim the tech. had to call my renters because he was running late which they appreciated, and he show up on time at the later appointment time. After checking out the ac unit he called me and let me know that the power was off in the main breaker switch panel which power the outside condenser unit for the ac system. So he reset the breaker switch and inform me that everything else looked good with the ac unit, I asked him to label the switch for me so to prevent future problems. My renters had a very good experiance with him honest and very easy to talk to, I plan to use this company again for any future issues since they are honest and did'nt take advantage of a landlord that lives out of state. I would be glad to refer them to anybody who needs reliableable service.

I was out of town when the washing machine at one of our rental properties broke down. My husband called Dave of Dave Taylor Appliance repair and he showed up within the hour. By the time my husband called me back, about two hours after the initial "aaaccck...somthing is broken" call....Dave had everything taken care of. The repair was not expensive, about $90.00 and I had happy tennants. Thanks Dave!
