"Please use our awful and continuing experience from h*** as a bellwether before you hire this company for ANYTHING. In summary (of our still on going and over a year long struggle with them) we had called for a quote on siding for the west wall of our house. A salesman came, measured the wall and convinced us to go with a special coating that will help protect from further weather damage. We paid the $5000 deposit of the full $10,000 price. Then we waited. Weeks and months went by. Every excuse was throw at us as to why the job had not been started, the weather, short staffing, lack of communication and on it went. Finally they sent a gentleman over to color match our paint. He chunked parts of our walls off in order to get paint samples, he didn't even do it in areas where there would be the new coating. Why a paint matching app wasn't used is beyond me, now we have chunks out of our walls. After that again nothing, no start date, no communication, no updates. Then we received a call from someone from the company telling us the salesman who quoted us was wrong. We needed to pay thousands more for the job to be done due to the size of the wall, that was measured and figured during our first quote. They said the salesman was an idiot and didn't know what he was doing but now this was our problem due to the wall size. We called back after some thought on the matter and said we would like to cancel the job altogether and get our deposit back. Then we were passed from person to person and finally after a struggle was put through to the owner/manager who literally said she could not comment on our request to cancel the job because she had no idea what was going on and didn't understand the situation. We have been back and forth with her for weeks. On a Wednesday when we managed to get a hold of her she said work on our job was to begin on Thursday. We had not recieved one email or phone message saying that was happening. Funnily enough that day 2 buckets of paint and 2 paint cans were dropped at our house. Nothing more, no explinations, just a paint drive by. We again asserted that we do not want the wall done by this company and we would like our money back. The manager/owner then snipped that due to our contract we would be giving up our deposit. Which I understand contracts are serious but in considering no work has been done in over a year, a mis-handeled quote, asking for more money and sitting on our deposit while no work has taken place should give us some leway points as to why we want our deposit back. This has been a nightmare of waiting, arguing, dealing with horrendous and rude customer service and now blatant theivery. We are now having to get the contractors board involved and are having to take legal action to get our deposit back. PLEASE LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKE. This company is disorganized, poorly run, and completely inept. Never ever use them for anything unless you would like to end up screwed over in the end."

"I would not use this company again. I must point out that the owner, Alan; the manager, Dan and the lead tech, Lemoine deserve ratings of "A." The workmanship, the quality of materials, and the delays I experienced were inordinate and unreasonable and those issues deserve a rating of "D-" The project demo and construction began on 3-16-20. It was finally completed on 5-28-20 with a followup issue addressed on 6-19-20. WORKMANSHIP: The first tech installed the sink P trap incorrectly, resulting in a leak. A 2nd tech fixed the leak but the P trap was still installed at an incorrect angle. The first tech decided (without consult with me) to cut the backsplash from 6" to 4". The first tech left white stains on the floor from the old toilet. One of the techs dropped one of the heavy shower panels on the shower pan, resulting in damage. The epoxy repair material had to be ordered, resulting in another weeks delay. On June 19, the lead tech had to come and replace the caulking at the bottom of the shower panels because they were loose and leaking behind the panels. QUALITY OF MATERIALS: The Kohler LUXSTONE is described as easy maintenance and cleaning. NOT TRUE. Shower panels must be cleaned with squeegee and wash cloth. One of shower panels has streaks that cannot be removed and that panel is of a different texture and finish than the other 2 panels. The CARDINAL glass surface protector (costing an additional $300) is supposed to repel water and oil It takes between 15-20 minutes to clean these glass doors. They must be cleaned with a squeegee and dry towel after EACH use. If any water drops dry on the glass, it must be rewet and then toweled off after EACH use. The vanity top (a Corian type composite) has scratches that appeared after 3 weeks of use. Isopropyl alcohol leaves a noticeable stain, which cannot be removed by any of the approved cleaners. However; the lead tech advised me to use a Mr. Clean magic eraser to clean the spots. The spots became less visible but the magic eraser left a white film over the vanity top. One of the shower doors opens at random and when the other door is cleaned. Initially, the gap created was about 12 inches wide. The tech worked on the door and the gap is now about 1 inch wide (which I live with). There was a gap under the shower door closest to the shower head, causing a large amount of water to splash onto the floor. This was addressed with a stop gap method of installing a small strip of vinyl under the shower door. One of the light globes (out of 4) was cracked and broken before construction even began. DELAYS: From the first day (3-16-20) there was a delay because the work began without the shower pan. Had to be ordered, resulting in weeks delay. The handles on the vanity drawers were the wrong type ordered. Knobs with predrilled ONE HOLE openings were installed. The drawer facades had to be reordered with correct handles (TWO HOLE predrilled). Another weeks delay. The drawer facades that the factory sent did not match the color of the vanity. Those facades had to be returned and another set of 8 drawer facades had to be ordered. Another delay of weeks. The owner, the manager, and the lead tech tried to do the best they could to address the issues but the quality, the workmanship, and the delays were just unreasonable. My rating of A on professionalism applies only to the 3 gentlemen above. I would rate the first tech with a D- on professionalism. The rating I gave on Punctuality has to do with the inordinate delays in completing the project. The workers themselves were punctual."

The cost to refinish a bathtub is $490 for most homeowners. However, this cost can range from $200 to $1,000 or more, depending on your tub's material and condition.
For example, enamel and cast-iron bathtubs are pretty straightforward to refinish, costing between $350 and $600. However, if you have an antique claw-foot tub, you can expect to pay between $500 and $1,200 for refinishing costs due to the care and complexity needed.
For a standard-sized bathtub with minor damage, it takes approximately 3 to 5 hours to refinish. It might take a bit longer if your bathtub refinishing contractor needs to fill in significant cracks or gouges. This is the same if you have a specialty tub, like an oversized bathtub—you can expect your pro to take a bit on the longer side.
If your bathtub is in overall good shape with minor scratches, discoloration, or just general wear and tear, it's best (and less expensive) to refinish it.
If your tub has large cracks, is leaking, or is otherwise severely damaged, we recommend replacing it with a new bathtub. Refinishing a bathtub can only fix superficial problems, so these issues will still be present or reappear after a refinishing.
There are a few signs, both obvious and not so obvious, that it's time to refinish your bathtub. While some of these signs aren't an urgent problem, others could lead to significant damage if left untreated. Signs you should look out for include:
Rust stains, which signal the tub's enamel or surface sealer is deteriorating
Small chips, which can grow into larger chunks and can lead to rusting
Discoloration, which doesn't lead to a more significant problem but can be unsightly
Dirty surfaces, which means that the tub glaze is breaking down and allowing dirt to seep below the coating
Refinishing a bathtub is worth it if your tub has minor damage or is a color that you don't like. The cost of replacing a bathtub is more expensive than simply refinishing one, averaging around $5,300. It's more cost-effective to refinish your tub if you can, but it also gives you the look of a new bathtub without having to replace the whole thing.
