He did an excellent job. He arrived at the time he said he would arrive and worked quickly. We were very pleased with the work and the outcome. I did contact him about two or three months later to have some changes to the gutters, and he was to be at my home within the next week and never showed up. He did call, approximately 7-10 days later, to ask if I still needed some work done. That surprised me a little, because initially he was very responsive. We decided we really didn't need the work done, so there were no problems. We would use Absolute Rain Gutters again. He has put new gutters on two other family members homes and did a very good job, so perhaps he just had a very busy week or two and forgot I had called him and ours would have been a very small job.

I went their website and requested an estimate for new rain gutters for my rental property. I never received a reply

The work performed by Mel Kuse, owner of Absolute Rain Gutters was excellent. His was the only bid that provided a diagram of the area we requested (needing) rain gutters. Mel is a hard worker, he is skilled, very helpful and, answered any questions I had about the rain gutter installation. He also did some extra work without objection. He's friendly and eager to please. We would recommend him to all our friends and neighbors.

Absolute Rain Gutters never returned my telephone call. No work was perfomed in 2012.

I contacted Absolute around July 21st and the owner, Mel Kuse, came right over. We explained the situation to him and walked completely around the house showing him where the problem areas were. He said that it wouldn't be a problem - that the gutters probably just needed cleaning and re-sealing in the corners. At the back of the house he discovered that the gutter had been replaced, probably due to snow pack causing the gutter to fall off the house. He said that they would check all of the gutters to make sure that they were properly secured to the house so that we wouldn't have a problem in the future. He said that he would be able to do it by the end of the following week. As of Saturday, July 30th, we had not seen or heard from Mr. Kuse or his crew. On Monday, August 1st, I contacted Mr. Kuse. I had to remind him who we were and what the project was. He finally remembered the project and apologized for not coming out stating that "he is sooo busy". (Doesn't seem to be a recession here in Carson City as every contractor we talk to states that "they are sooo busy".) Anyway, he said that he would come over the following afternoon and take care of the job. Mr. Kuse and his helper showed up in the afternoon on Tuesday, August 2nd. They proceed to remove all the old caulking from the corners of the gutters and re-sealed them as requested. They also checked to make sure that the gutters were securely attached to the house. My husband asked Mr. Kuse to add an addition to the downspout by the garage to direct water-flow to the street and Mr. Kuse happily complied. The only complaint that I have (other than not coming the first time) is that they did not clean up the old caulk that was removed from the gutters. We found gobs of it in the courtyard by our front door - which we have cleaned up and thrown out. Overall, I would recommend Absolute Rain Gutters to anyone needing to have their gutters repaired.
