"Michael was prompt and professional. I had my washer serviced by another repairman about a month prior. Got the same error and they wouldn't return my call. Michael came out the same day, diagnosed there was more wrong than I thought. Appliance wasn't worth repairing. I appreciated his honesty! I will happily use him again."

"I ordered a part and ended up not using it as that was not the problem with the washer. They have a return policy, which I followed, only to be told I could not have a refund because the part appeared to have been attempted to be installed. This is not the case. In fact, the part was never removed from the box. They either sent me a used part or use this excuse to keep the consumer's money. Either way, it's a scam, they now have my $100 and the part."

Appliancezone.com is a leading on-line retailer of appliance parts and accessories for do-it-yourself homeowners. Incorporated in 2008, it was started by CEO, Jim Allen and his wife Paula, who operated an appliance repair business for nearly fourteen years prior to starting the internet company Appliance Zone.
"This is the first online review I've ever written -- my experience with this company was that bad. Three aspects that deserve attention: 1) I placed an order and tried to cancel six minutes later. Turns out they don't accept cancellations. 2) I couldn't find a phone number, so I had to work the return/refund by email. The exchange was painful -- so unhelpful I felt like I was interacting with a bad chatbot. 3) I ended up eating shipping costs (expected) and got hit for a 50% restocking fee (unexpected) because I refused the package instead of paying to ship it back. Didn't matter that it went to the correct address, was clearly labeled, and had prior return authorization. So I ended up with a $21 refund on a $60 order, and a lesson learned about where not to buy appliance parts."

"I ordered a part from this company for my dryer. They claim: 2 Day Quick Delivery! 365 Day Return Policy! Free Tech Support! I returned the unused part in their own packaging and they refused to provide a refund! Apparently, there's some hidden small print in their return policy that if you open the box and touch the product, that item is no longer eligible for a refund. They claim that the part showed signs of installation such as scuff marks. I asked for the part to be sent back to me for inspection by other professionals, but they refused because they disposed of the part. I've never encountered with such a scam company as this one and advise all to stay away from their misleadings! Good luck trying to get a refund from them, you're not getting one."

"DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE INTO YOUR HOME! They just ruined my brand new $1000 Bosch Dishwasher. The two people they sent were not certified Bosch technicians. They were two extremely unintelligent untrained hack’s that didn’t even have the correct tools. The buttons were sticking on my 4 month old Bosch 500 dishwasher. They sent King’s appliance repair. The two guys showed up and I showed them the buttons. The leader mumbled “You can’t pour syrup on them.” I told him there is no syrup in my house and I don’t ever put food on the counter near my dishwasher. They decided to take apart the door to get to the buttons. BIG MISTAKE! These two idiots brought a little tools box like the one I had when I was a kid 40 years ago, and started to tear apart my expensive dishwasher. They completely removed the door and took it apart. The whole time I could hear there power tools grinding on the heads of the screw. They said they had to order the button panel. They put It back together. The whole time I kept hearing the sound of screws striping, and the head grinding from there power tools. They weren’t even using the correct bit. These screws had star heads and they didn’t have the proper bits, so they kept grinding as they put them in. These were tiny little screws that only take three turns to tighten. They stripped half of them. I didn’t notice the damage until they came back to replace the button panel. Again they tore it all apart and I kept hearing the grinding of there powers tools. It sounded like a construction site. When I tried to talk to them they just looked at me with a dumb look. I truly believe they were just extremely stupid people. I don’t mean that as an insult. They simply had dumb brains. They said it’s fixed and left without any paper work and nothing to say. I looked at the door and they had stripped the screw keeping it on. When I wiggled the door it all just fell apart. The door can’t be held together anymore. These guys left without saying a word when they knew they just ruined my machine. I called Bosch, there sending someone else out and said they will replace the door if it can’t be fixed. King’s appliance repair! I call on you to end your business and stop ruining people’s property."

If your refrigerator needs to be repaired, contact an appliance repair company to diagnose the issue and repair your refrigerator. It’s okay to leave it plugged in and running, but unplug it if it makes unusual noises.
Signs that your refrigerator may need repairs include:
Food items are not being held at the correct temperature (between 35 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit)
The fridge is using too much energy and seems to run all the time
Loud and/or unusual noises
Possible causes include:
A damaged door
Faulty condenser coil
Malfunctioning control board
Contacting an appliance repair professional as soon as possible can help save items in your fridge from spoiling. Common fridge repairs include the compressor, control board, thermostat, defrost motor, coils, and ice maker.
If you’re having problems with your dryer, contact an appliance repair professional as soon as possible to inspect and repair it. Having a faulty dryer can be a major inconvenience in the home.
Your dryer may need repairs if:
It isn’t turning on
It’s not releasing enough heat
The drum doesn’t spin
Common repairs include:
A damaged or worn-out belt or
Damaged or shorted electrical wiring
A control board malfunction
Dryers tend to overheat or become short-circuited over time, especially after heavy use. Other common dryer repairs include door switches, timers, and control boards.
If the unit is not under warranty, then you may want to call a reliable appliance repair technician to diagnose the issue and recommend a repair. Some of the most common washing machine issues are inadequate water supply to the unit, poor drainage due to clogging, leaks, and excessive vibration while washing. Like ovens, the cost to repair a washing machine will vary widely depending on which issue you’re experiencing.
The average cost to repair an appliance depends on the appliance, make, model, the part that needs repair, and how long it takes to replace or repair a part. The following are the average repair costs for the most common appliances:
Refrigerator: $200–$300
Freezer: $90–$500
Oven, cooktop, range: $100–$500
Microwave: $50–$400
Dishwasher: $160–$300
Garbage disposal: $70–$250
Washing machine: $50–$450
Dryer: $100–$400
Appliance repair contractors may charge $40 to $120 per hour for labor, and most also provide the replacement parts necessary at an additional cost. It’s also important to note that these prices can go up on holidays and emergency fees may apply if you need your appliance fixed immediately.
It's good to contact the manufacturer first to see if any warranties still exist, and if they have any specific repair persons they recommend. Some specialty units or smart units may require the assistance of a manufacturer-approved technician. Oven issues can be more challenging to diagnose than other appliances in the home because many of the parts are difficult to access for inspection or replacement. Some common oven repairs involve replacing damaged burners, heating coils, or electric cables. Purchasing additional parts, such as a new heating coil may also increase the total repair cost.
