Description of Work: Technician was late arriving due to prior appointment taking longer. He was very polite and kept everything clean, despite working on a dirty fireplace. Worked efficiently, although I would have expected they would have had replacement rock wool or vermiculite (glowing embers) readily available, because they had to vacuum out the old. I would have paid for it, but they did not even have any, even through their main office. That was the biggest disappointment with the service. Technician also inspected my HVAC units and offered to clean those out, for an additional fee. After the technician left, I noticed the panel on top of the firebox had not been vacuumed or cleaned. (Although recessed, this panel is visible and readily accessible from the front of the fireplace.) I get the impression this company does not do fireplace cleaning on many older units, so maybe not as thoroughly trained on what to look for; although perhaps I was envisioning an old-fashioned chimneysweep, like Bert from Mary Poppins; rather than a duct-cleaning service that occasionally cleans fireplaces. Overall, a solid B+.
