Description of Work: Excellent!! My husband and I were very pleased! I found Vargas Tree service through Angies List. We received several bids for this job, but when I was called to set up an appointment with Alex from Vargas I was very happy they called! They had excellent reviews and I really wanted to see how much they would charge for the job. From the time the appointment was set, it had to be changed due to an out of town job. There was constant contact from the office by Priscilla which was appreciated very much! Alex came and took multiple pictures of the work we needed done...and we would receive an email with the estimate the next day. We definitely did. Even though they weren’t the lowest and definitely not the highest we decided to go with Vargas Tree Service based off of there reviews and the courtesy we received by both Alex and Priscilla. They came on Thursday and it was a 3 man crew to remove 5 huge palms and 3 pines and a couple of other smaller trees...it was amazing to watch these 3 guys tackle the beast of a Double huge palm.. on a hill no less! Our yard has a slope with too many trees and since we just moved in they had to go!! These were some of the hardest working men I’ve ever seen! And in this terrible heat... they never slowed down! I could go on forever with the awesome job they did but my review would go on even longer!! I did ask the man who ran the chain saw and stump grinder(plus everything else)there names..come to find out he was Erick Vargas! And his son Erick jr and Valentin.....as the owner of this business he was working his tale off like the other two! Very impressed with work that was done!! My husband was already discussing with Erick what we wanted to do next!! Definitely will go with Vargas Tree Service... some of the hardest, and best work I’ve ever had done! I’m posting pictures of some of work they did! Use them for your tree service you’ll be happy you did!

+ -1 moreSpoke with multiple businesses and settled on Vargas Tree Service due to a gut feeling based on presentation. We had received two other quotes that were a lower price, however Vargas' understanding of what we wanted and how to best care for the remaining plant life stood out. The crew that completed the work left exactly what we were looking for as an end result. I was further pleasantly surprised on scheduling the job within a week, and how quickly the crew got it done. I'll also mention that the communication, via text, phone and email, was fantastic. I had multiple questions and they were answered in a timely manner. Would definitely use Vargas Tree Services again.

They did exactly what we had asked for and even did a couple of things we only thought of once they were here. They were very professional and cleaned all the debris from the yard. It was a pleasure doing business with them and I would not hesitate to call them again or to recommend them to my friends and neighbors.

+ 0 moreBrilliant. I could not be happier nor could my husband Chad. Within the 1st 5 minutes of meeting him before we decided to hire him. I was already like "He is the one to get this done, he knows his stuff". I did not see anyone else for estimates after. And he did not try to sell me on things we did not need which is a plus as well. Today the removal of that huge tree went so smoothly and fast. The stump grinding was excellent as well (he also did 3 extra small stumps for me). And now our back yard is clean and ready for us to do an add on the patio and artificial grass. We also hired Alex and his company to do the rock in our front yard. He is also installing an irrigation system. I can not wait for them to do that :) I know this is a long review, but we are thrilled with the work. And because we are so impressed we will never look elsewhere. This is the most professional and kind company I have ever been around. I would give them 1000 stars if I could. A truly fantastic job. Hire them and you will not regret it!!!

Angie's List provided an option we haven't had all year (folks that were returning calls). Alex from Vargas Tree Services returned my call right away, came out for an estimate and got me on schedule within days. He and his team were able to arrive earlier than planned which worked out perfectly for me. Their entire team was awesome! They did a great job and cleaned up everything. They were all kind, courteous and professional! I will certainly call on them again and highly recommend their work.
