+ -1 moreThey took a look, found where it was leaking and applied a sealant to the entire top of the windshield free of charge! I'd been abstaining from car washes for MONTHS due to the leak, but now I can give the poor car the cleaning it needs. I did tip the installer and definitely recommend them. For one thing, they aren't the type of company that will " nickle and dime " you! PS...don't forget to tell them you found them on Angie's List!

+ 0 moreI had deteriorating rubber molding surrounding the windshield of my 2001 BMW 325i, as well as a troublesome crack in the glass. I checked Angies List and found a highly rated company, United Auto Glass. Considering the ratings, as well as seeing that they've been in business since 1997, I decided to choose them. I was very impressed with both owners, Helen (who works in the office) and Brian (who works in the shop). Both were very personable and knowledgeable. I arrived early for my scheduled appointment, so I was in the office when Brian a received phone call from the delivery person who was picking up the windshield from a supplier. He was informed that the glass had a crack on it and hence couldn't be used. So Helen immediately got on the phone and began calling suppliers to locate another windshield. After several attempts, she located a company that had the correct replacement. Although there would be an understandable delay for the install, I was grateful to learn that the new windshield was of a higher quality that would be installed at no additional cost to me. Once the windshield arrived, the job was completed in less that an hour. I was provided with both verbal and written instructions of how to care for the glass over the following 24 hours. I wouldn't hesitate to take my business back to United Auto Glass and would recommend them to anyone else!

+ -1 moreI called and was able to bring the car in the same day, no appointment needed for this repair. I understood that the small chip would still be visible but it would not get larger. This was my goal, since the chip was low enough on the windshield that it didn't really bother me from a line of sight perspective and I sure didn't want to go to the expense of getting a new windshield. I'd estimate it took less than 30 minutes. Price was very competitive and employees were really friendly there. I would definitely use them again--in fact, this was the second time I had come to them for a small repair, and the first one (done several years ago) is holding together just fine.
Description of Work: Repaired chip in windshield likely caused by small rock or pebble kicked up from a truck.

+ 0 moreMy window was smashed out on Memorial day. Unfortunately I called around and nobody was open. The following day I called some of the higher rated glass repair shops on Angie's List, and read all of the reviews. United Auto Glass was rated very high so I called, received a very good price quote, and was scheduled for later that same day. When I arrived to the shop I was greeted immediately by the nice lady at the front desk and asked to sign in. My appointment was at 1:30, I arrived at 1:25 and my vehicle was taken in the back before 1:28...That's fast! Approximately 40 minutes later my vehicle was ready. Trim was back in place, no loose glass rattling around, and I had a factory Ford window in place for $100 less than the second lowest quote I received. My only complaint is that they smoke in the shop area, and with my vehicle door being opened, I could smell it when I drove off. Not a huge deal, but that was the bump down for professionalism. The staff at this place is great, friendly, and fast. I will definitely use them again if I ever need glass repair.

+ -1 moreI called after getting a MUCH higher quote from a major national chain. The quote from United Auto Glass was less than half of what I had received. Rod and Steve were punctual and professional. They came to me for a very minor cost ($12 I think) and were able to do so on the same day I called. It rained today and I found out they had accidentally reversed the windshield wipers when put them back on. I called, someone was out in less than 45 minutes. A very well run company. I highly recommend them!

They ordered the glass for me and within 2 days, called me back and we scheduled the installation which was done in about an hour. The company is extremely professional and go out of their way to provide efficient, reasonably priced services. It was a pleasure dealing with them.

+ -1 moreUnited Auto Glass is great! I called on a Wednesday afternoon and got an appointment for 8:30 am on that Friday. They were very professional and pleasant. They are also close to my workplace, so it was very convenient to drop my car off and pick it up when the work was finished. The quote I got from them was well over $100 less than another competitor, and I paid exactly what they quoted me on the phone. They also said that they will repair the first rock chip I get in my new windshield for free. Overall, this was a great experience, and I will definitely do business with them again and refer anyone I know looking for automotive glass work done to them.

+ 0 moreWe had a very pleasant experience. Mrs. Trujillo (I think) explained everything very well, she is a very friendly, knowledgable person. Mr. Trujillo is also very friendly and hard working. We were told by both of them to return immediately to the company if anything should go wrong. As far as rock chips is concerned, I don't have any experience, but, should it happen again in the future, I know where to go.
Description of Work: The windshield of our car had 2 very small "rock chips". One at the driver side, the other at the passenger side. We were told exactly how the repair would be performed, the time it would take and how much it would cost. We were also informed about the possibility that the repair might not be successful, i.e. the chip(s) could "run" because the chip on the driver side was at the point were the window is slightly bent. We agreed to the procedure. Unfortunately, the chip at the driver side could not be repaired - it ran. We decided to purchase a new window which, we believe, was sold to us at a discount price. Another 30 min later the work was done and we had a new window.Mr. and Mrs. Trujillo are very nice, polite, capable and hard working individuals. We are thinking of having the side windows of the car tinted next week and, of course, we will ask them to do the job.

Description of Work: My rear view mirror had fallen off the front windshield and I immediately realized that I had to get help before continuing to drive. I was very near my auto mechanic when this happened so I carefully drove to his shop. He told me that it required a special kind of glue and he would have to order it. I told him that I didn't feel safe driving without it. He left his shop and told me to follow him in my car which I did. It was a short distance and the name of the shop where I had been taken to was: UNITED AUTO GLASS. Location: 4080 W. Desert Inn Road # W 107 Las Vegas, Nevada 89102. phone: 702-220-9691 From the moment I walked inside and met the owner: Brian Trujillo I knew I was in good hands. He greeted me and then went out to look at my car windshield. He had to cautiously remove the old glue fragments from the windshield. Then he had to work on the backside of the mirror to remove old fragments from it. He then applied the proper glue and asked me to sit in the driver's seat to make sure the mirror was in the exact location for safe driving. He noticed how dirty my front & rear windshields were and cleaned them as a special gift. He also noticed that the tinted plastic sheet used for shading the 2 front windows was kinked and twisted. He neatly trimmed the plastic on both windows. I was so impressed with everything he did including the 2 extra & free jobs he did.
