Description of Work: Juan did our original landscaping when our home was new (2007). He stopped by one day and said he would like to replace 2 front trees because they had not grown as expected. He discussed possible replacement trees, his crew came out and replace the other trees without charge. He guarantees his work, which is always exceptional.

Description of Work: We contacted them to get an estimate for monthly yard maintenance. Their estimate was double what we are currently paying so we are keeping our current service.

Description of Work: He trimmed my tree quickly and cleaned the yard better than he found it.

Description of Work: Removed grass & weeds from front yard & mostly overgrown weeds from back yard. Installed weed barrier front & back. Installed desert rock front & back. Installed 280 sq ft patio, colored concrete. Widened driveway 180 sq ft concrete. Demolished & removed front stoop & replaced for proper drainage. Installed plants & trees throughout front yard. Repaired & rerouted sprinkler system. Installed sandbox. Installed 1 yd topsoil in planter between front sidewalk & house. Removed all debris, etc.

Description of Work: Near total redo of our backyard and a little work updating our front yard. Juan's design ideas and local knowledge were wonderful. His workers did a wonderful job removing the old and planting the new. They adjusted our irrigation system and in-ground lighting for the new plants. They cleaned up each day after they were done. Juan was very selective in the plants he purchased for us, he looked for over a week to find healthy Lady Banks Roses for us. We are well pleased with it all and would hire him again. Plus his bid was the lowest and he bid to do more work then the other two Landscapers from whom we solicited quotes.

Description of Work: We used Tovar Landscape & Design, Inc. for the landscaping and hardscaping of the courtyard and backyard of our home. He picked out plants and trees with us at the nursery and installed them together with a block wall topped with ornamental iron work and 2 iron gates, stone pavers and flagstone walkways, a raised bed made of stacked sandstone along the back of our property and patches of artificial turf both in the courtyard and in the back yard. Mr. Juan Tovar was both professional and congenial and tolerated our changes and requests for rework during and after construction. I would recommend Mr. Tovar and be happy to use his services again. We interviewed 5 landscapers and selected Mr.Tovar for his talent (we spoke to his current and former clients) and temperment (he did not take the least bit offense when we disagreed with his recommendations or prices and was always willing to compromise)

Description of Work: They removed the sod that we had and put down 3" of crushed rock in our yard for zero-scaping compliance.

Description of Work: Mr.Tovar responded to my phone call and gave an estimate in writing. The work was done within a week. The quality of the work was good but not excellent. The quality of planting the bigger tree was not good, the palm tilted after a strong windstorm. The cost was on the pricey side. I'm having a hard time for the company to honor the warranty of 6 months. Called about 10 times already.

Description of Work: Tovar Landscaping took some bushes out of the rear yard. They also planted several new trees and bushes, in the both the rear and front yards.
