Clarence Daguio is one of the best AC Technicians in all of Las Vegas. He is professional, efficient and doesn't waste time. AC problems are not fun but Clarence came to the rescue. He was professional and knowledgeable. He was able to quickly identify the problem and fix my AC. Vegas heat is no joke and Clarence saved my life for fixing AC right away. I would recommend his service to anybody in town.

AC Guys were fast and efficient. I had a previous diagnosis and repair from another company that did not fix the problem. My unit kept going out. I called AC Guys and they got to me quickly and diagnosed my issue. I ended up going with a new unit with zone control. It was a complicated job but they did it with ease. The techs were so nice knowledgeable. I haven’t had any problems with my zone control or my unit. They were trustworthy, affordable, and efficient. I would definitely use them again!

On July 22 I received a bid from the A/C guys with regard to repairing an a/c unit at a rental property. The unit was cutting out and overheating. The tech came out looked at the ground unit and also in the interior of the attic. After consultation with his home office he gave me a bid for $3,004.55. We met the following day and was told that a better deal was to purchase a new a/c unit and cooling coil for $5,604.72 which would give me a warranty. I asked about a discount as I am a senior citizen and a member of Angie's list. He said they only give discounts on repairs and waived the $49 service call. My credit card was charged $3,000, balance to be paid when job was completed. The tech said the job would take all day, I had an appointment at 8 AM so said I would meet him at 9:30 AM on July 25. I arrived at 9:30 and when no one arrived I called at 10, was told he was picking up equipment, called again at 11 was told he was 7 minutes away. Two technicians arrived and set to work. Around noon I was told that the office was sending a Hold Harmless Agreement to my email account, which was necessary before continuing work, he said some cutting may be needed to be done to fit the unit and if any boards were cut it would be easy to go to Home Depot and pick up replacements to do repair, inference being tech would be doing this. I went home, printed the document, signed it, tech took picture and work resumed. Access to the attic is through a bedroom closet, tight space, so closet doors taken off, wooden shelf taken off, much pounding, sawing, etc. At 5 PM they are still in the attic, the tenant, who is my granddaughter, came home. The room is in shambles and we are told it will be another 2-3 hours. We said we wanted to speak to the office, was told they were closed, then wanted to speak to a supervisor. Troy was called, tenant acknowledged tight working space, etc. but expressed concern about the condition of the room. Troy said everything would be put back, everything would be in order, said the techs would stay until the job was done, at this point he was on speakerphone, Said we felt something was wrong, taking an extraordinary time, that we knew people who worked in a/c, things happen, felt being taken advantage of because of my age and that I was going to have someone else look at this before I paid the balance. Troy said when would that be I said in a day or two as soon as I could get someone out. Tenant left taking two dogs as the house was really heating up and I went into the backyard. Darkness came. I went into the house around 8 PM inquiring how things were going, they were still in the attic, it was 90 in the house. The two techs looked at each other and I was told the attic area was good and the tech asked what his boss had said to me. I said he told me that everything would be put back and you would complete the job. He got on the phone apparently to call him. I went back outside and when I went back in the house to get a drink of water I saw the techs out front. I went out and saw that they had the new a/c and was loading it into their van. I said what are you doing, he said he was told by the office manager, Christy Garcia, to take it back if I was not going to pay them right now. I said and leave me without an a/c? He said he was just doing what he was told. They then took the old a/c and put it back in the backyard. This was 9 PM. It seems Christy spoke to the tenant and told her they would not finish the work until they received full payment even if Troy said they would complete the job. Tenant asked if the balance could be paid half now and half after the second opinion, Christy refused. As the techs were leaving the backyard I said stop. I will pay the balance without seeing what the job performance is. He called the office, charged $2,555.72 to my credit card. The techs were there until midnight. The hole in the ceiling was to be repaired by a third party contractor who does drywall. The office on Friday said the man could come out Sunday between 8 and 9 AM. I said I would be in church then and gave her a list of times when I was free, we agreed on Sunday afternoon after 1PM. She would not give me his name or phone number only that she would get back to me. On Saturday I called the office to confirm the time but they had a recording on and would not allow me to leave a message. I called Troy, he said he was driving but would get back to me. Saturday afternoon I called Troy again and he gave me a phone number and name of Mr. Hernandez. I called him and set up an appointment for Sunday morning. Mr. Hernandez came out at 10:30 AM and repaired the closet ceiling with drywall and particle board.

Tony performed the inspection/maintenance and provided a detailed listing of the status of both a/c systems. I was very happy with the work that Tony did for us. It turned out that we were a little low on refrigerant. I remembered that The A/C Guys website stated that they would provide "Up to 16 ounces R-22 or R-410a free, with service if needed" as part of the maintenance package I had purchased on Feb 11th. Tony called the office and was told that was not correct. He was told that refrigerant would be provided at a discount. After Tony left, I checked the website and it did state that "Up to 16 ounces R-22 or R-410a free, with service if needed". I called the office and was told that the website was incorrect and that I should refer to the maintenance agreement emailed to me on Feb 14th. What was emailed to me was a not a maintenance contract, but a link to a site managed by Housecall Pro. I was unable to log in and did not call the The A/C guys regarding the login problem. (My Bad) My concern is that the website still (4/22/2019) promises ""Up to 16 ounces R-22 or R-410a free, with service if needed". I was told that they know about the issue with the incorrect information on the website and were in the process of fixing it. So ... Why am I complaining? The website makes a statement regarding the replacement of refrigerant that is untrue. Based on my conversation with the office they know it is untrue and that it has been untrue since at least Feb 11th. There was nothing in the email pointing me to the maintenance agreement that indicated that the website info and the maintenance agreement were substantially different on this issue. I find this to be, at the very least, sloppy. I have already paid for the furnace inspection but will not renew after that. My Advice? - Since they do not honor what they advertise on their website, BE CAREFUL! ,

Call my regular ac service Co only to find out they weren’t licensed for modular home and they recommended The A/C Guys. Was surprised when I called that they were willing to come out the same day, but we decided to do on Saturday and they gave me the 1st appointment of the day. Ty, the tech called right on time and arrived at the home and quickly diagnosed the problem as the gas was turned off to the system. He quickly fixed the problem, re-lit the system and PRESTO! We now have heat! I Highly recommend The A/C Guys as they are quick, efficient and very honest in their business dealings!!

It took them 3-4 days to come out. He was very reassuring and he came during a heat wave. He was a good people person and when he came he immediately put me at ease and when he said it doesn’t look like a major job and I should be able to have it running in about an hour or so. He got it started running in an hour and it was running better than before.

Got a quote from Taylor who answered the phone in the office when I called. She asked me what size and I told her I think it is a 3 ton unit, because that is what we were told when another company came out to service our AC unit. Luckily the field service manager Mike came out the day before and took measurements and checked to be sure about replacing the coil also. Since we were going to be upgrading with our new AC unit. He told Taylor in the office that it was a 3 1/2 ton unit and he also called me to let me know that. When Mike came by my father in law showed him with unit it was because we have two of them. So I was quoted an additional $50.00 for the extra 1/2 ton. Mike came by with the correct unit and installed it along with a new cooling coil. Mike did a really good job and was completely professional. In addition, he answered all our questions we had and did not seem rushed or impatient. I was really impressed with Mike. The only concern I had was getting the invoice emailed to me and not seeing it right away from the installer. Because once I received the emailed invoice there was an error as far as the serial number and when I emailed and called the company back they apologized and did correct it. They addressed my questions and took care of them like I would expect from a professional company. Mike is an asset to their company too.

One extremely hot late Sunday afternoon when my 7 year old AC stopped working I immediately called the dealer who had been assigned the manufacturer's 10 year warrantee. To my horror I found they did not make calls on Sunday. I searched the internet for AC repair that would honor the warrantee. I called TheACGuys and was told that they would try to reschedule a service call. They called back within 10 minutes and reported that they had been unsuccessful in rescheduling but could arrive the following morning by 10 AM. We spent the night with family and returned to our house by 9 AM. At 9:30 I received a call from the serviceman reporting he would arrive by 10. Promptly at 10 a spotless van arrived and a neatly attired young man entered. He took a photo of the warrantee, adjusted the thermostat and then asked if I would like him to go to the outside gate to gain access to the backyard. I escorted him through the house to the backyard. I will interrupt this review to inform the reader that I was a practicing engineer for over fifty years with extensive design and manufacturing experience in AC equipment. I watched the repairman in his handling of the diagnosis and was extremely impressed with his actions. Before disconnecting the power he listened for any noise coming from the system. After disconnecting the power he removed the access panel took one look inside and removed the offending capacitor. He then told me that he did not carry in his vehicle the specific model that the manufacturer of my unit required but he would immediately drive downtown to a supply house and obtain the part. One half hour later he returned and finished the repair. He then sent me an invoice for the service with the verbal instruction of "This is not a bill so do not pay this. We will bill the manufacturer." I was completely satisfied with the service and will switch my yearly maintenance check-ups to TheACGuys from now on.

They got this done pretty quickly and did an excellent job. I would suggest anyone to contact Christopher Marshall, the manager, because he really knew what he was doing. They are licensed, bonded, and insured. They also gave a discount.
Description of Work: They came out to fix my AC. They came to diagnose the problem. When they left it was running, right after they left it quit running. Then they installed a ground system. They installed the outside unit and coils in the attic. They even worked on Saturdays. The diagnostic was $49. The price of the unit installed with installation was $3200. It was a Trane system.
