+ -1 moreThey came out because I wanted to know if I could lower my utility bills. (The power company is getting ridiculous out here with their prices.) My home was only about 5 years old but I am just spending too much on untilities. I asked a lot of questions and they patiently answered them. They did an inspection of the entire house which took a 3 or 4 hours. They gave me a report about some problems they found. I had problems with the duct work in the attic among other things. It is too early to tell but after making some corrections to my house I am confident that I will be wasting less energy and hopefully be saving more money. As a side note - they gave me quite a few tips for improving the energy efficiency in my home.
Description of Work: Sustainable Energy Service did an energy audit for my house. They used a blower door, inspected in the attic, inspected the air conditioner, inspected the heater and a lot of other things.
