Sun Country was great from start to finish. Very responsive to my phone calls and punctual for both the estimate and the day of work. Reasonably priced without any hassle. The workers were very professional and cared about the quality of their work. They repaired the pedestal my furnace was sitting on, even though the damage was pre-existing and unrelated to the furnace. They really went the extra mile and cleaned up the area. These guys take pride in what they do. Thanks Angie's List for helping me find such a good company. I feel I can trust them and I will use them again if I have any future heating or cooling needs. Already recommended them to a friend.

They came out and a tech said you could benefit from a high end filter installation, but could not determine why so much dust. He estimated $1200 for the filter. The tech came back again as a follow up to the dust problem because they wanted to look inside at the heat exchanger. Again there was dust everywhere inside my home, it happens every day, and did not have a solution except for the high end filter. This time the tech estimated the price of the filter was $1800. Then the boss sent me a quote at $3000.00 for the filter. I called him and he said that there was a one month fully money back guarantee, but I questioned the cost, and he determined there was something in the quote I did not need, new price $2200. He also said a full money back guarantee. I said okay. He said he would get back to me. He never called me back.

I called the provider today around 9:00 a.m., the person on the line was very accommodating to schedule the visit according to my availability. By 10:20 a.m. the technician called me to confirm he was on his way. He was professional, knowledgeable and honest in his diagnosis. He also offered recommendations. He did a great job identifying the cause of the AC issue we had. I acknowledged all this to the technician after having a bad experience with another company, also listed in Angie's list, that instead of recommending repair went straight to try to sell us a new AC unit worth thousands of dollars. I will trust this company for any future AC needs we may have in our family. Thank you for doing a great job!!!

On a hot Saturday morning, discovered that my AC was not working. Called for service at 8am, service done by 9am. I was lucky that it was only a capacitor, but these guys are my go-to from now on. The technician did a once-over on my system and pronounced it good for another year.

Very friendly tech tested and cleaned the units. He was thorough and took the time to explain the results. Units still good so no other services needed at the time but I will call them in the future to replace thermostats and clean units as recommended.

. My air conditioner stopped putting out cold air on Tuesday afternoon. I called a company I have used before and they said they couldn't come for at least 24 hrs. I called Sun and the lady that answered the phone made a preliminary diagnosis and told me what to do until the technician arrived. The service technician arrived just two hours later.. Technician diagnosed problem. Evaporator frozen because Freon was just a little low. Replaced Freon and everything was fine. Didn't try to sell me anything, the bill for the Freon and service was $107. This is the lowest bill I have ever received from an air conditioner service company. Fast response, fix and low bill. Who could ask for anything more? Great company definitely will go to the top of my list.

My upstairs A/C went out Saturday during 115 degree heat. I called Sun Coast as soon as they opened at 8 Sun morning. They had the problem fixed by 9. Very responsive. Ray did the service and was very friendly and professional. I thought my downstairs unit was bad too but he explained it was working too hard because the upstairs unit was out and didn't try to upsell me service I didn't need. I was expecting to pay double for weekend service but there was no markup. Outstanding experience!

Our air conditioner stopped working on June 20th Sat late evening - called Sun Country and they came out early Sunday (Father's Day) and did a repair to enable us to have air conditioning Sunday. Appointment was made to come back Tues, 23 to have a complete check of both of the units. Stephen called about 25 minutes before his arrival - he repaired our other unit and then checked out both units of everything needed to have them in good operational condition. Stephen was very personable and knew exactly what had to be done and did it in a very professional manner as well as the person doing the Sunday repair. We are very pleased with Sun Country Heating & Cooling Inc.

I have had Sun Country out to my house for tune-ups, "simple" a/c issues for just a few years. In that time, I have gotten quotes from them for my aging systems a couple of times. NEVER did they push or say "Your system won't last" as did another company nearly 7 years ago. My A/C went out last Labor Day weekend. I received a quote during the summer and knew it was time to get new systems. I called Cheryl and told her it was time. They were out the next day with a loaner, yes a full sized loaner unit. The next week I called Cheryl to say that I did not want to over-extend my loaner use, but she said there was no issue and Ray would come out to place my order when he was back from vacation. Long story short, my new units were installed in the fall. Yes we chose the Cadillac of units hence the price. He did quote us 3 different units, but we chose the R-20. Our winter warmth was the most comfortable ever. They felt some of the duct work was inferior and replaced that, all included in the price. Now here is what prompted my review. Compared to last May, my electric bill is down 40%!!! I can keep my house a bit warmer in the morning and the A/C cools the house quickly come afternoon. The install was seamless with the crew in all directions. Outside, attic, out front cutting pieces and parts. As in other reviews at the end of the day, you could not even tell they were here. I will never have to look for another A/C provider. I feel Ray treats his workers well as I have seen at the same people in my house over the past years.

Extremely timely same day response. Very courteous, including Cheryl in the office. Diagnosed problem quickly, repaired quickly, and found no other items that needed replacement. From contacting through Angie's list to completion - about four hours. Might not be as quick for you, but I'm sure they'll do it as fast or faster than anyone. Fairly priced. I will definitely use them again.

All I can say is WOW! I used the online scheduling option and I received a call back in minutes. They came to my house on a holiday at no extra charge. The techs were so nice, and they had the issue taken care of in no time at all. At no time did they take advantage of my widow status and try to upsell me. I highly recommend this company!

Scheduled service call via their website. Initial diagnostic visit was performed promptly, which was actually early within the specified morning window. Technician (Jose) called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way. Technician gave me the option of just replacing the drip pan for $689 ? very unusual to offer that option from what I've read on national web forums, so I took that as a sign of a fair and honest company. Technician did not try to sway me toward either option. To replace the full unit, estimated cost was $1789, which would have a 5yr warranty. Warranty on the drip pan only would've been just 1yr. Although the estimate seemed to be on the high end of typical costs per national web forums, it was within the range that I was prepared to pay. I scheduled the replacement to be installed the following week in order to allow the unit to be ordered. Again, the technician called ahead to let me know he was on his way. Jose arrived with a couple other techs to help (Chris & Steven, I believe). After about 3-4 hours, the new unit was up and running. Work was done very professionally and efficiently. Crew was very clean about it, taking care to cover hardwood floors and stairs. Final bill was as quoted, and independent of the hours and number of techs in the crew. It's been four months now, and unit has been working without issue since installation. I would not hesitate to hire Sun Country again, and I would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

The Sun Country technician called ahead of time and arrived punctually. He got to work immediately and did a thorough job inspecting, cleaning, and tuning up the central heater and air conditioner. The latter needed quite a thorough cleaning due to tree debris and I was very pleased with his expertise and overall work. I would highly recommend Sun Country for their experience, knowledge, and straight dealings. Thank you, Cheryl and Ray and Joe/John!

Everything is fine. They checked our furnace and they are wonderful. They come twice yearly, spring and fall.

Had a service contract with One Hour Air who came out in December of last year to do their service checkup. When they came out they had told me that I needed a new blower for one of the units and that my gas pressure switch was sticking and would need to be replaced. Also told me that my ducts were dirty and that I needed to have a surge protector installed on both units all together for the low price of about 2 thousand dollars ($800 for blower, $250 for each surge protector, $770 for duct cleaning, $150 for the gas pressure switch, that is with their discount for having a service agreement with them). Then the final blow was they said that I would need to replace both within the next year or so. I found this all highly suspect since my house isn't even 10 years old yet. That brings me to calling Sun Country to come out and take a look. Their tech Chris came out and started working on the units outside which took him about 30 minutes or so. He ended up having to tighten all of the connections on both AC units outside, but other then that said both are working perfectly. Then he went up into the attic to take a look, both blowers were fine and pulling less amps then their max limits by a decent amount. He also found that the gas pressure switch was left dangling inside the unit. The same switch that needed to be replaced. Seems the last tech detached it and left it hanging there. Chris also checked the ducts while changing the filters and said that they are not dirty so would not need to be cleaned. He also informed me that if I needed to have the blower changed it would only be about 4 to 500 dollars. I will definitely be using Sun Country again as they seem very customer oriented and don't seem to be out to rip you off. Chris explained everything he did and was doing.

They came very fast, they were in the region. The repair was so cheap, I was expecting that I have to change the whole A/C unit.

Their Tech, Chris arrived promptly and wasted no time checking everything out and then explaining the results thoroughly. He was pleasant and presented himself professionally. After he finished he went over to my Mother's (92yrs old) house, a few miles away, and checked out her equipment. She was very happy with Chris also. She remembered him from last year. We have used Sun Country for a few years now including replacing two AC units with their TRANE units which are top of the line quality. They have also answered an emergency call almost instantly for my mother in the middle of the summer. Big Thanks for that !! Got three estimates to replace our 17 year old air conditioner and heater. First estimate (the lowest) gave us basically just a price, no other info or education. Second estimate ( the middle one) gave us what I would call a salesman approach to what they could do. The last estimate( the highest) was from Ray at Sun Country. He gave us the most information of the three and was actually the ONLY one of the three who climbed up in the attic to see what he would have to do and what he would be up against for installation. He then gave us 6 different options and prices to choose from. We were very impressed with his "working mans approach" to providing information and estimates. Got the estimate on a Wednesday, called Ray back on Friday, and he scheduled us for the following Tuesday. Ray and his 3 man crew arrived on Tuesday morning and hit the ground running. Very impressed with the crew, their work habits and knowledge of their business. They had our new air conditioner and heater installed in less than four hours, cleaned up afterwords and you would never even know that they were here. New equipment has 10 year warranty on parts, 2 year warranty on labor, and they included a 2 year service agreement where they come out twice per year just to check how everything is running. So ladies and gents, it's not only the dollar amount on a job, but the feel you get for the company. Very satisfied thus far and would highly recommend Sun Country to anyone.

I recently purchased a home that is approximately 10 years old so I called to have the AC inspected and got the prepaid service special on Angie's list. Scheduling was a breeze though I recommend if you get the prepaid service on Angie's List, follow up with a phone call to schedule your appointment, it's easier than waiting on email. I called the day of to reconfirm the appointment and then they called again when they were about 10 minutes out, which I really appreciated. Bryan did the inspection and he talked me through everything he was doing. He described everything that could go wrong with the unit and what to watch out for. He then installed my new filters for me and showed me the trick to installing them. He diligently cleaned the dust off the grate and surrounding area. Overall, this was excellent service and I would not hesitate to hire again.

They showed up the quickest for me. They were able to do the work on their off hours. They took things out of my hands for me which was really nice. I did not have to supervise anything.

I would highly recommend the family owned and operated Sun Country to all my friends and family. We first had them repair one of our blower units in the attic, but found both units were on their last leg being over 25 years old. The old units were also very energy inefficient. I received 3 other estimates and found Sun Country to be more than fair in the pricing, they subtracted the amount spent on the previous repair on top of that. Ray and his crew were always punctual, clean, courteous and friendly. I felt that they were very professional and honest. After they removed the old units, boy , did we see how old, rusting, filthy our units were. They cleaned up afterward. I'm am so happy to have found Sun Country and have the confidence in this company, as I was hoping to have.

Ray, from Sun Country came by after my request for a quote to replace my aging AC/heating units. I explained I was looking for a combination of low cost and high efficiency. Based on my needs Ray proposed a super high efficient unit for my downstairs and one step down for my upstairs which is rarely used. This save me about $4K. I agreed to the deal on Thursday. Sun Country showed up at 8am on Monday with the new units. The crane showed up at 10am, on schedule. Both units were installed and complete by 1pm. Best of all Sun Country has a financing deal with Trane - same as cash. Service for the next two years is also included. I highly recommend Sun Country.
