Called on Saturday. They were here within two hours. Problem turned out to be a part that needed cleaning. They didn't even charge me! On the phone I mentioned Angie's list coupon which might be why I wasn't charged for the service call. I only post reviews when really happy or really ******. This is the former! My experience is entirely positive.

The compressor was ordered for our 12 year old unit. It came the next day and was installed that day. Fortunately the days the unit was down were in September and not during the summer heat. It helped we had a working air conditioner on the bedroom side of the house.

Steve was my tech. He was very punctual and immediately determined the cause of the problem and went above and beyond to fix it. I've had another company come look at the A/C unit and they had tried to persuade me to buy a new 9,000 dollar A/C unit. Steve showed up and never had me thinking I needed a new A/C unit. He told me what the issue was and he fixed it. Fast! My family thanks you guys!

Called early this morning. It is almost 4pm. Nobody answered the phone and nobody called back.

Sun Country came out within an hour of me calling. It was mid-July, hot as heck, and my upstairs AC was doing nothing. They diagnosed the problem (condenser gone bad) and told me what it would cost to replace it. We also discussed the age (17 years) of my old system. I decided it was time to upgrade and replace the old equipment. Sun Country gave me a quote and I got another quote from another company. I have used Sun Country before and I think they are an outstanding company. Anytime I call, whether it be for my home or my rental units, they respond quickly and take care of the problem, so I went with Sun Country. They put a temporary condenser on my old unit and two days later a team of 7 showed up to replace everything. By about 1:00 p.m. they had everything up and running. I was amazed at how hard these professionals worked to get the job done.

They check the unit and found the problem. They fix it in less than 30 minutes.

Set up an appointment, we knew we would need to replace our air conditioner. This was during August in Las Vegas and the temperature was up in the 100's. Sun Country staff arrived on time and called 20 minutes prior to arrival. They replaced the air conditioner and furnace /blower within three hours. The staff went over service and warranty information and cleaned up after themselves and even vacuumed up any mess. Very professionally run.

It went very well. Repairmen arrived on time, assessed the problem in five minutes, fixed the problem in five minutes and charged appropriately. I would use again. Replaced Capacitor.

As always, Sun Country showed up as promised and did the repairs in an extremely timely fashion and it did not cost more than an arm(joke). I am impressed everytime I deal with them on their professionalism and the fact that they are not about the uspell of a new unit. In this particular instance when they went to parts supplier to get the part they were told that the supplier did not carry it and that they would have to replace the entire reversal valve. This would have been an upcharge of at least $500(my lowball estimate). The Owner, Ray, told technician to go back to main office as he knew there was one there even though it was an extra 30 miles of driving for the tech. This was extra time and mileage on on his vehicle which cost him money, but he was more concerned with giving me what I wanted than raking me over the coals. They even rearranged the schedule of their technician to be able to come to my house first as I have pets that start dying at 85 degrees. The only problem I had was that I called at 0115 for service and did not receive a return call until 0600. They offered a good expanation of why there was no one to come out and do the work at that time(everyone was working 12+ hour days), but I would have appreciated a call much earlier to inform me of what was going on. Due to this I had called several other companies to try to get this repair done. As a small business that also must concentrate on customer service, I understand that sometimes, some things the customer would like and expect are just not physically possible and do not hold this instance against them other than a slight downtick in the one category. I have used them in the past and WILL use them in the future also.

For me, it's always difficult to know with any confidence if a mechanical service provided was honest. Having said that, I felt very happy with the service I received from Sun Country. Although I had called for just an annual A/C check up, we ended up talking about an issue - A/C water flowing out of our secondary drainage - for which numerous previous A/C service pros were unable to resolve. Sun Country's service pro knew exactly what was needed to fix the problem (re-pipe some drainage pipe near the heat exchange unit in the attic). Now, the problem - rusty water running down the wall of my house - that I've lived with for 6 years is now gone! While the initial A/C checkup cost wasn't the lowest available, I feel very comfortable that the overall charge was reasonable and I wasn't gouged. The extra charge for fixing the drainage problem, which took about an additional half an hour, was negligible. I would most definitely use them again.

I can't say enough great things about this company. I came home at 2pm to find my AC went out (July 14,2016 during 110° heat wave). Originally, I called two different companies who I will not name, The first company didn't answer or return my phone calls and the second provider gave me a next day appointment (even though they advertised 24hr service) requiring me to be home between 9-12pm the next day which was really inconvenient. It had been a hot 16hrs with no AC for my family (which includes 2 young children). By the time 9 AM came around and was cooking to 102 I'd had enough! I found Sun Country on Angie's List so I called them and I spoke with Andy. I gave him some basic info and he said they would be out to my house within the hour. My technician called to assure me of his arrival time and ETA! Steve my technician was PROMPT, courteous and knowledgeable. Not only did he have the part to fix it with him but it was done within the hour and my AC was running again. Steve explained that my condenser (?) was ready to go out anytime ( I knew this already because last summer our Firefighter co-worker who does HVAC as a side job told us) so I was grateful for his honesty. In the end, I received a discount for the repairs that day because of Angie's List which I was not expecting. Steve also mentioned their 24hr service and that no matter what time it is day or night they will come. I have found by reading multiple reviews that that is not usually the case with most companies even when they advertise it. The "unavailable" provider finally did call back (after our AC was fixed about 24hrs later), he asked some questions about who we used? What did they fix and the cost? I answered his questions and told him the service cost $$ and he was genuinely surprised (as in "no way he could've price matched or beaten the cost"). I wanted him to know what a quality service provider is like to an average customer like me. He said he knew the people and had good things to say about Sun Country. We are planning to use Sun Country for our AC replacement ~$2,700 as soon as it's time. Hopefully that time won't be in the middle of summer in 115° weather. Great service. Responded very quickly and was accurate on the time they could be here. Diagnosis and fix, while relatively simple, was done well and quickly. I would recommend them again.

Outstanding. Two service techs came out and checked my electrical lines. They simply replaced a part that was faulty, which was a relief. Total cost, $195.

I normally get an annual A/C tuneup in May or June with a company I've used for years. This time, I decided to try Sun Country, based on raves from neighbors in my subdivision. All went well, no repairs needed. However, the tech did show me how the outdoor condenser had accumulated dried mud inside. Instead of hosing down the unit, which my other company had always done, Sun Country actually vacuumed, thereby getting out much more gunk from the unit than a water hose would do. Good to know. These guys really know what they're doing. And Cheryl, in the office, is just wonderful to do business with too. I'll definitely call Sun Country again in future.

This is going to seem weird, but we did not go with them for the HVAC replacements. Here's how it rolled.... Turned on the downstairs AC unit for the first time (about 5/16/16) and noticed low pressure and no cold air in our downstairs unit. Since we had our semi-annual check-up due under our maintenance agreement, we had our regular HVAC company check out our problem. We were told there was a refrigerant leak in our system and some problems with the control panel. (I don't recall the exact language used). Told it would probably cost a little less than $1,000 to fix - including $500 to replace the R22 refrigerant. Since our systems were already 14 years old, we decided to look into replacing both units as it may be a matter of time before the other went. We got a bid from our regular HVAC guy, but did not know if it was reasonable. We had done some research on manufacturers and found Trane, Lennox and American Standard were well rated HVAC systems - others close behind. Our search focused on the three brands. (Also discovered that the more reputable review sites stated that it was just as important - or more- to get a qualified contractor to ensure a proper installation.) We scheduled three other companies to come out two hours apart on 5/23/16. Sun Country was the first of the three scheduled. Mike and Bryan arrived near the end of the two hour window the scheduler said they would be there... which is fine since that was within the window given. They asked about our usage and any other concerns we had, They examined the systems and looked at the square footage of our home to provide a preliminary estimate. (A more detailed analysis would be provided if we had chosen them - which appears to be the norm for the industry.) They came across as genuine and down to earth. They seemed to be knowledgeable - more based on a confidence in their expertise as opposed to an attitude of cockiness. (Sun Country is listed as an authorized dealer on Trane's website and they are NATE certified.) But most of all they were very patient at explaining things and answering our questions as I/we crawled through the details of information new to us/me. We hadn't done much research before they arrived and they filled in the gaps of what little we/I knew. This "education" was very helpful in the appointments that followed. Here's the kicker. My husband wasn't able to be with me for the appointments. (He's much more technically savvy than me.) So what I REALLY appreciated as a woman was the fact that they did not try to high ball me on the prices. They provided reasonable prices for comparable units being sold by their competitors. [This may not sound like much, but I had a competing company rep give me a price that was nearly $5000 higher (for both the 2 ton and 3 ton units together), then when they (the competitor) found out their bid was not low enough for consideration, offered to take off $2,500?! ] In addition to the favorable impression during our appointment, we had other conversations about differences in the competitors' contract proposal details that Mike was thorough at explaining, and again he was very patient with our additional questions. Unfortunately, we did not go with Sun Country. While we went into this process thinking we were going to replace one or both units, our convoluted adventure led us to a certified home energy consultant who provided us with a cost benefit analysis between fixing and replacing. We chose to fix. Due to our familiarity with our current AC guys, we decided to stay with them for the fix. Right choices?... only time will tell. I really hated to call Sun Country and tell them "no" after all the hoops we put them through. Despite the rejection, Mike was professional and diplomatic. He responded, as long as we were happy, that was what mattered. Infer what you will, I opine he was very sincere. Their high marks here on Angie's List are well deserved! So..... while we did not hire them this time, we would highly recommend that anyone seeking a HVAC repair (substantial or not), or a complete replacement seriously include Sun Country in their inquiries and/or bidding process.

Absolutely wonderful job by the Sun Country Heating and Cooling team. From the very beginning when Ray explained all the differences in the various models available we were able to make a good decision. We talked with other companies but went with Sun Country and we couldn't be happier. They arrived on time, were very professional and cleaned up before they left. We couldn't be happier.

Sun Country Heating & Cooling replaced a 3 ton Air/Heat unit on the rooftop of our four plex. I contacted them on a Friday and had it installed Monday. Everything went smoothly working with Richard Rayburn one of the owners, Cheryl the receptionist and Steve one of the installers. I was very impressed that I wasn't expected to make payment until the County inspector checked out the job which took several weeks for them to get the permit. Within a week of this job another unit at the same location needed a condenser fan motor replaced which Steve did the job quickly and reasonably priced. I would most definitely work with this company for future jobs. Thank you Sun Country for a stress free job.

Good to know everything was running fine for a unit to be rented.
