Sun Country Heating and Cooling

My fourth time using Sun Country over nearly 10 years now, they are always super responsive, and professional whether its my heater, or air conditioner. This time I had one of my two A/C units running about 6 degrees too warm, Stephen came out right on time promptly assessed the problem as a tiny Freon leak over the last 2 yrs so I needed a lot of Freon, he fixed the problem its super cold A/C now ! Great, honest company they take tons of pride in being honest and reliable. AAAA++++ thank you Sun Country (again !) .

Sensor replaced, fast and inexpensive.

This is a review way over due for several years now. I want to make sure to give credit where the credit is due. I hope the item was called fan motor correctly. Since then we have been loyal customers and always used and recommended the service from Sun Country. Before I found Sun Country, some guy thru my husband's colleague's recommendation came to work on the AC problem in our house. The guy hardly spoke English but quoted me a high price. I was surprised how high it was and asked if there could be a price break. The guy firmly refused. As it was 110 degree in the summer and the guy came thru recommendation, I decided to trust him and let him start working. While my 4-year old daughter and me were sweating bullets throughout the day, I kept bringing cold drinks to the guy thinking it's really hard work but he never even said thanks. At the end of the day, the guy found a new problem of fan motor which he said he had to come back with a replacement tomorrow and it would be an additional $1,000. I asked if there could be a price break since the previous price was already high. The guy angrily and firmly refused. I paid for the work with dismay that tomorrow he would return with the same bad attitude and high cost and who knows if it was going to be another whole day of sweating bullets. Later it finally occurred to me that I was an Angie's List member! I checked on Angie's List and found Sun Country. Ray is a GODSEND! I described the problem to him. He is courteous and professional. He quoted me $540 and can send technicians the second morning. The second morning two professional and pleasant young men showed up on time, got the work done within one hour, before the day became hot! I wish I had them the day before, or all our previous AC work! They have good people with good skills. Their charge is more than reasonable. They work hard to build their reputation. I fully recommend Sun Country for all your air conditioning needs. Thanks Ray and Sheryl!

One of the furnace units quit running. Sun Country performed a thorough inspection and diagnosed the problem as a grounded control board. Once the board was replaced they did annual maintenance on both units. The furnaces work well and the house is warm. I highly recommend this service company.

Great Service and response! Took multiple visits to diagnose the issue but always responsive and great service. They were upfront about pricing and trying to get the problem solved. Couldn't have asked for better.

Sun Country Heating and Cooling is Outstanding! I had a competitor company perform a service inspection of my heating system. I felt that the price that they had quoted me to install a limit switch and inducer motor was too high. I contacted Sun Country Heating and Cooling for a second opinion. Am I glad that I did. The service technician came out after I arrived home on the same day I called their office. This is January, my furnace is not igniting, and it is getting dark. When he had finished I learned that the previous company misdiagnosed the problem. The limit switch and inducer motor were in good order. The problem was my control board was sending out fault codes and this prevented my unit from working as it should. My technician was able to restore the codes so I had a temporary fix (and heat) that evening. The next day he came out after I arrived home from work and installed the new control board. Believe me, I was impressed. Sun Country H&C is at the top of my list when it comes to needing help with the services that they provide. They are definitely 5-Star.

I had Sun Country Heating and Cooling visit me in September 2017 (see my feedback 9/18/17) and did not give them a positive review. However, Ray (owner) called me after my problem returned and he couldn't have been more responsive. He sent Jose and Brian out and they found problems that were previously unknown. Ray followed up with a phone call and an estimate which was more than reasonable and a crew of three (including Brian) came out and repaired the problem. I couldn't be happier! Highly recommended and will rely on Sun Country Heating and Cooling for all my HVAC needs in the future.

I have used Sun Country on many occasions over the last 5 years,including a brand new a/c system and as usual went very well. Owner Ray came to give estimate on duct cleaning. Inspected and was told I don't need a cleaning. That when I do my fall maintainence on my heating system they have a special machine they will use to clean my ducts at the entry point. Great service and honesty. Would recommend (which I have) this company if you want a knowledgeable and professional company.

Came late because they got home hung up on the last customer. Cheryl was cooperative, helpful and made a real effort to update us on the status. Once they came they quickly fixed the problem and explained in detail. Will use again.

They were excellent also. These guys were very good. They didn't try to over-sell you on anything. They showed you why it was weak. They were willing to give you the parts, all of those kinds of things. These guys were good. Every year, they'll be coming out.

Jose , Anthony and Steven are the technicians who helped me with my AC, they are very nice and professional people, I really appreciate their hard work while it's 115 up there. And thank you Julie! This this the third time I used Sun Country over the last few years, and I will definitely choose you guys again and recommend to my friends and co-workers in the future. VERY WELL. SERVICE GUY WILLIAM WAS VERY POLITE AND DID A GOOD JOB.

The Sun Country technician arrived within 90 minutes and found the problem immediately. He was professional and neatly dressed, and discovered a part needed to be replaced. He replaced the part and did a thorough tuneup of the A/C unit. Just in time for the long hot summer. I am a very satisfied customer!

They're very good. They're very cooperative. ?They kind of go out of their way to try and help their customers. They went out of their way and installed a water heater for me which they do not normally do, but they go out of their way to hep you. ?These guys really go out of their way to help you. I stand by them very highly.

Excellent. Cheryl took the time to explain to me what the home inspector's comments meant and what it would probably require when I scheduled. Jose, the technician, came the following day and was thorough, friendly, and explained what he found and what he was doing. We used the AC tune up coupon, so the price for that was even better. I'll definitely use Sun Country again.

It went great ! The technician was on time, very thorough and honest. I've always been hesitant to have this service done because companies will always find "something". There was none of that. He pointed out items that we should keep an eye on no upsell which was refreshing. Very happy with the service!

Excellent. From the office lady who runs the office and schedules the work. She is wonderful, to the technicians that they dispatch all top notch people. I have never had a problem in all the years that I've been using them.

The main reason we hired this company is proper installation of HVAC is critical regardless of the brand and model of HVAC unit. Sun Country appeared to have proper size crew with everyone doing their part of the installation, a team effort. They listened to our questions and made sure we had answers. They helped us determine a better thermostat location as we used the original system thermostat location which was not a good one. Based on time of year the unit was installed we have only used the heat pump for heat ---- the Summer cooling season is almost here and the new unit will get put to the test. We have no reason to believe that we won't have the same success with the cooling as we have with the heat.

Had the A/C up and running within an hour.

After several attempts they were able to figure out the problem, fixed it and the unit is running perfect. I liked that the did not try to upsell any services than actually required or requested by me.

That turned out real well. It was 2 young nice fellows that came in. They kind of knew what was wrong when I explained it to them, and they went out and put a new motor in it. So that was just fine. I think that was probably the third time we have used this company. So we will use them again. They knew what was wrong, they went out to the truck and got what they need. They tore it apart and put it together and they were gone in no time at all. Everything has been fine since. Everything was fine, like I said we used them before and we will keep using them. The hot weather is coming up so we will find out how well it works. The price sounded reasonable. It was right on time.
