My wife and I purchase a home in October 2012 and decided to do a little remodeling before moving in on September 2013. Although we originally planned on taking down a wall between the kitchen and living room we decided that the cabinets needed to be replaced as well. After sending out a couple of requests for bid and being offered pretty much mid-range cabinets for a high cost, we were given a reference for Stellar Woodwerks by Gary Adams Interiors. Cory Leaders (Owner) met with us and went over what we wanted in the way of a design and how much we wanted to put into the cabinets. After a couple of proposals my wife and I decided to go with the all-wood maple cabinets with silent closing doors and drawers along with numerous pullouts. The cabinets Cory offered us were superior to other cabinets we had looked at for the price. One of the issues we had to deal with was the fact that we were in Seattle when all the work was being done along with having issues with our contractor meeting construction dates along the way. More than once we had to depend on Cory to go to the house, check out what was still needed to be done and then get back to us. Things such as the flooring, electrical, plumbing, etc. not getting done was very concerning to us. The fact that Cory could still deliver a great product while working these types of issues sets Cory aside from most other vendors that wanted a finished space and a date, neither which we could provide at the time. When the time came for installation of the cabinets the house still was not finished to the point Cory could install so we had to have Cory store the cabinets until the space was available for the install. (About 2-3 weeks) My wife and I are very pleased with the results of our new kitchen and the extra touches that Cory put into his work as well as standing behind his word to deliver. One example that comes to mind is that we added some pantries in an area that was still being torn out. Upon installation the pantry was too narrow for the space and although we could have lived with it, Cory made a new cabinet to fill out the wall and to give the kitchen a nicer finished look. I would not hesitate to recommend Cory to anyone that asks. I don't think you will find a better cabinet around town for the price.
Description of Work: Installed high-end custom kitchen cabinets as part of the remodel we did on a home we purchase a year ago.
