Had Joseph Coleman come to give me a bid. Nice and knowledgeable young man. From there it was downhill. Office lady who answers the phone could be a truck driver. No customer skills whatsoever. Joseph did not return my multiple calls for a price. His office provided cell doesnot work- he said he didn’t know when they would have it fixed. Finally two weeks later he called and gave me a verbal bid, no drawings. I requested from the gruff office lady that he call or email the written bid. I was planning to go with this company and the bid was about $8k. Joseph said it would also take over 6-8 weeks.Today I spoke to the no personal skills lady on the phone and said I have to go with someone else. My overall take is they are having financial problems and I would stay awY from this company. It could be they have so much business they can afford to lose some.

Lowest price, high quality work. However, I had to call frequently to find out when my work was to be installed.

I had salesperson spend better than an hour discussing project. He was going to get back to me following day with estimate. Three days later called office response I will have him call you.Did not call. Repeated same scenario 2 weeks later still no call.Guess business must be very good. Just annoyed that Steel Partners wasted my time.

Wanted a security gate fabricated. Researched several options and fabricators. Steel Partners was the only one to accept our design without wanting to change it. They were willing to offer suggestions to the design, but were willing to work with us as submitted. The time for fabrication is something to consider. HOA approvals generally are a first step before work can begin and can cause some delays. Completion time will change with design and size of project. The initial trial fitting showed a few areas that needed adjustment before it could finalized. Once identified, the required adjustments were made. Some items that were not immediately available were fabricated in the shop. Time from start to finish took a little longer than initially projected but the quality of the work was well worth the extra time. The fabricator is a craftsman and does quality work. The installers are very professional and polite. The project manager worked with us as the project progressed and called to give updates on its status. I know a quality product when I see it and this is meet that standard. We are pleased with the completed project and would use Steel Partners again
