The service was poor, the quality of work was poor and the professionalism was poor. Very bad company..This company is very unprofessional, from their estimator to the lady who owns the company. From the beginning everything went wrong, I wanted a Landscape company to have a plan of action as to what they were going to do for my yard. Instead I designed both my front and backyard, the owner didn't even know anything about plants, pavers, or rock type. I had to be out there every day telling the workers what to do, in fact I think I would make a great landscape designer. This company guaranteed us 90 days on our plants, 3 have died and on one of my planters the veneer has fallen off, I have called and made an appointment with this company to come out twice and twice they have stood me up. Do not use this company..The owners name is Jackie Levy and the estimator's name is Darryl....

While their estimator Michael did a great job of selling their services and promising the moon for a rock bottom price, they failed to deliver. As first time home owners we did make a few mistakes; he came by and talked to us and gave a verbal quote, saying if we decided to go ahead with things he would come out the next day and write up the contract. Only when the owner and crew came to start the job it turned out that many of the things he promised were not specifically spelled out in the contract and thus never happened. He of course did not show up while the work was being done; they then blame each other... the owner says the estimator failed, the estimator says the owner is cutting corners... I just say take your money elsewhere. What work they did do was haphazard at best; the lawn installed in not the same quality as the sample he showed us (he promised the upgraded synlawn for a price matching other quotes for the mid range syn lawn, we are now looking every day at the entry level turf) and to make matters worse it is fraying and separating at the seams after just three months. We also signed a separate contract with the estimator to seal our concrete patio; it was supposed to be done before the yard work started but he never did show up. He cashed our deposit of $300 immediately but after nearly a month finally admitted he was unlicensed and had taken on that job on the side. We looked him up, turns out he was arrested a few years ago for just that; bidding on contracts without a licence... more digging and turns out his contractors licence was revoked! Jackie (the owner) struck me as intelligent and competent, someone that would know what her employees are up to. It says a lot about Starbucks Scapes that they are willing to let someone with the estimator's background represent them.
