Description of Work: I made an appointment with this company last week for 11:00 today for a solar screen quote. I called them at 11:20 to ask if they were still coming out. He said that he didn't know he had an appointment with me. Apparently he knew nothing about the appointment. Bad miscommunication within that business. I will never do business with someone who cannot even keep track of who he is supposed to give a quote for.

Description of Work: I thought they were great! They are very professional and deliver a great product. I like that the shades provide privacy and solar "protection." I'm anxious to see what impact the shades will have on my electric bill. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Description of Work: It was a pleasure dealing with Jim and Dave at Southwest Solar Screens. Dave visited me after my call and surveyed the windows, offered suggestions and gave a quote. Jim followed up within a few days to measure the windows, 17 of them including 2 for the patio sliding door and 1 door screen with 2 smaller side screens. Nothing was a problem for Jim and he answered all of my concerns and questions. | |In about a week they had fabricated all of the screens then securely and professionally installed them. Outside they are a "knock out" in design and color with a finished professional look. They give my house much more "curb appeal" by highlighting its colors and architectural detail. | |Of most importance to me, inside, the screens have significantly improved the A/Cs' cooling efficiency fulfilling their real purpose. Description of Work: Solar screens installation. Jim came out to give us an estimate and he knew that we were only in town for a few days. He had no problem doing the installation without us being at the house. He performed the job ahead of schedule and he e-mailed us photos of the solar screens installed on the windows. The solar screens look fantastic and the price was very reasonable. We requested quotes from a couple of other companies and he was the best.

Description of Work: We called on Friday, and Jim Shelby said that he had several things to do that day but he suggested that he would put us on his schedule between 3 & 4. He called 4, say thing he had just finished with his customer, so we rescheduled with him for Monday, today, 4/23/12 at 4:00. he did not show up. At 4:30 he called. I did not give him an opportunity to explain. I told him that we had an appointment at 4:00 and it is now 4:30, and that we are no longer interested. To our way of thinking if potential customers receive this shoddy of customer service up front, then the product one receives will be equally poor.

Description of Work: I have over 30 windows in my home, it is a two story house and some of the windows are quite large. He came and did the the measurements, within 2 weeks everything was ready, he did the install and I am so happy with it. I wish I had done it sooner. I had solar screens on my windows before, however, they were 15 years old and had not been taken care of properly. They did a great job!
