Solar City

I don't get the rates that they told me that I would get, Nevada is only paying half of what they were supposed to be paying for the energy I'm putting back into the grid. Because of the energy cost and laws here, by the time you pay the solar company AND your energy bills, you're paying as much if not more as you did prior to the the installation of the solar panels. They will not e-mail me, they over bill me and call me and speak very aggressively over the phone.

I went with Solar City. The service is good but it takes a long time to get the panels in and have them approved and all that but it's not really their fault because right now the Nevada Electric here is kinda trying to delay them. Also, some stuff because they don't like them to be doing the work for their clients. Essentially, what they did is the Solar City installs this panels and becomes part of your electric utility. You should pay them for the power they generate instead paying by power electric, you pay them. You pay both now because they provide the solar power. Nevada Electric doesn't want that. Nevada Electric has to approve whatever installations they put in your house and it takes forever for them to actually come over and inspect and approved, some sorts of stuff and it's frustrating. They installed a couple of months ago but I signed a contract with them 4 or 5 months ago. Once in a while they would call me and say that it's not generating electricity but then later they would say it's okay now. I would use them again.

I went with Solar City because they were on Good Morning America. Shame on Good Morning America for advertising such a HORRIBLE company. I made a HUGE, GIGANTIC, mistake signing with Solar City. If I could take down the panels, I would. They have lied to me since last February when I signed. I have been put off, lied to, and mislead. Solar City has taught their salespeople to lie and tell the customer anything just to get them signed. Finally got hooked up in June and in October, I received a bill from NV Power for $750.00, while I pay Solar City $112.00 a month for 73% of Solar Power, which I was promised 95%. Go figure. I have called Solar City and they told me on 11/15/2015 it's not their problem, but it's ok that I am now paying DOUBLE in electric when they promised to save me money. They flat out lied to me. Their customer relations department doesn't care when you call. Do not ever go with Solar City. They are a HORRIBLE company. All of the salesmen I have worked with have left the company. What does that say about the company? Go with Sun Run, they are a better company and they don't lie and steal from their customers. My friend went with them, and she is very happy with them
