Silver State Overhead Door

Silver State does not stand behind their product and service! They replaced the motor on my garage only 2 years ago. The technician came out to do a 2-year maintenance only 2 months ago for $85 (a maintenance service recommended by Silver State). Now the garage door doesn't open at all and Silver State wants to still charge me $65 just to come out to look at the problems with the motor they put in and the maintenance service they did. The owner or manager said they will look up when the motor was installed. When he called back, he said very rudely that it's $65 for the technician to come out, when do you want him to come out. I asked him if he checked on when he installed the new motor and he said he did not check. That's because he knows he installed the new motor only two years ago! A new garage motor lasts a lot longer than 2 years. Do not use Silver State Overhead Door. They do not stand behind their product. Their service is horrible, they are rude, they don't care about their customers.

OUTSTANDING JOB! Spoke with the owner of the business by telephone. He emphasized he was not in the business of replacing parts just because he could; things were replaced only when they needed to be, The morning of the service I was told the technician (James) would be out around 10:00 & he was there within 10 minutes of that time. Explained to James what had happened. James took a look at the door. He estimated the cost at $75.00 & advised it would take him about 40 minites. He did the job very quickly & cleaned up after himself. He was very polite & took the time to explain to me what had happened & why. After he was finished James explained some simple preventive maintenace tips for to prevent a reccurence. I would have no problem in referring Silver State to anyone & plan on doing so.

When my garage door wouldn't close, I called Gary at Silver State Overhead Garage Door. He sent Justin to my home within 2 hours of my initial call. Justin was very professional and knowledgeable. My garage door now works perfectly! I'm very pleased with their service and feel that their price was right. I will definitely use this company again and will gladly refer them to my friends and neighbors.

Made call. Had someone already working in the neighborhood. Arrived within 30 minutes of call. Done in about an hour. Found I had used them previously. Would recommend to anyone.

It went well. The new switch is digital; availability of an accompanying instruction manual would have helped.

Fabulous job! Except for trying to get an appointment pinned down (after three attempts), the install went like clockwork. Very good.

Arrived on time and completed the spring replacement in less than 45 minutes. Very professional and competent. The price was totally fair for parts and labor. Would recommend them to anyone in need of overhead door repair. Will use them again when the need arrives.

We have used Silver State on two prior occasions, and immediately called them when the garage door wouldn't open yesterday morning. The person I spoke to was able to identify the problem by asking me a couple of questions. The guy that fixed the door arrived in the afternoon and the spring was replaced. Both the dispatcher and the repairman were pleasant, friendly, and professional. This firm is a keeper.

They did work out for me and the price was right. We spent $185 on that work and it was the price that they quoted me over the phone when I called and asked questions. He was very polite and pleasant and did what they had to do.

My husband called them and they came out the same day within few hours. The door works now. My husband was pretty happy with them. Their price was right in line with others. They are a local company. We have used them before.

Six months after we had the door installed, it buckled again. I am very unhappy with them because they failed to properly diagnose the original problem. We needed a new door opener and instead it ruined our new door. They would not honor their warranty either, so we had to have another company come and install a new opener. They were terrible.

My new garage door opener works just perfectly. This company was very prompt and they completed their work in a time effective and accurate manner. I was quite pleased with the services I received. I would feel good about recommending their services to other folks.

Never hire this company. The contractors board had to get involved because he would not honor his warranty. If correct diagnosis of the problem was done initially i would not have had to file with the contractors board. Plus, gary the owner is horrible about returning phone calls.

Silver State came out, gave us an estimate and then fixed the door the first time they came. We were very pleased with their work and have had no problems with our garage door since they fixed it.

I had my garage door custom made and Silver State sent out one very efficient man to do the installation work. The service man was on time and very professional while doing his work, and I am pleased with the new door .The service man took two hours to get the door installed and balanced properly. The company does nice work with reasonable prices and I have recommended them to my friends.

Silver State Overhead Door impressed me with their fair price quote and the fact that they came out the same day I called. I can't say enough good things about them as they were quick to get the job done after explaining what needed to be done. I have had no more problems with it and will always use them for this service.
