I had a cold water issue with my washer and wanted the 9 year old rubber fill hoses replaced with stainless steel ones. I called the 15th and got an appointment the next day anytime after noon. I was alittle concerned calling a 800 number instead of a local number, but figured it was a more efficent way of taking appointments. As it turns out Same Day Service is in Mass. and RI in addition to NV, so that made sense to have a toll free 800 number. The other concern was and quot;sometime after noonand quot;, given my luck it'd be 4 or 5 o'clock, but to my surprise Bill called a quarter to noon and said he'd be there alittle after noon. I showed Bill the washer and explained that the cold water wasn't getting to the washer and let him get to work. I was just about to walk out of the wash room when Bill pointed out that the cold water was turned off! I couldn't of been more surprised that the fix could of been that simple. Since I'm the only one in the house I couldn't think of any reason at that time how that happened. Anyway I asked BIll to put in the stainless steel fill hoses. Bill said that'd be no problem and he'd also check the drain hose, water level, agitate/spin/drain cycles and any leakage problems. The work took a half an hour or so and it turned out the washer didn't have other problems and Bill mentioned that he hoped I didn't have any ghost problems concerning the mystery water turnoff. It wasn't til later in the day that I sheepishly figured out what happened. I was going to give it shot of replacing the fill hoses myself, but saw what a pain it would be to get the hoses off and just took my tools back to the garage, forgetting to turn the water back on til I had to do a load of laundry. It's just kind of funny. Now paying 120 bucks, (with a 10% off) to replace the fill hoses was a bit much to pay, but it was a chance to check out the excellent service of Same Day Service and now I have a go to company for dryers, refrigs, microwaves, ovens, dishwashers, and disposal units. I guess a FYI would be to check the obvious, ha.

Called because icemaker in refirgeraor was nolonger working. Called 6/22/11 @ 10AM. Repairman cam the next morning @ 11:30AM. He checked icemaker and determined the sensors that told the item to make ice was not working. Estimated repair was $275.00. Considering I can buy a bag of ice for less then $2.00, I determined the price was too high. Repair was not made.

They were very fair with us and got everything fixed. They had to come out 3 times because initially we needed a new part that we had to wait on and then a fuse went out on the dishwasher that needed fixed as well. They deducted the original service fee from the other 2 visits. We have had no problems with the dishwasher since they were out. I was very pleased.

I called on Thursday and they came out Friday (they would have come same day!). Bill was the repairman. Very professional and helpful attitude. Fixed my stove! YES! I would call them in a heartbeat again! Great service! Great company!

Company returned my call in an extremely timely manner. A technician talked to me about my smelly dryer, and actually suggested that I try a vent cleaning service before I tried dryer repair as that was most likely the culprit. How helpful! Would definitely use them again.

I was at my town home that I rent. I did not even have to show up. He took care of everything over the phone. He quoted me $205 and it turned out to be lesser.

He seemed really competent. He gave us a lot of valuable information with out being bragadocious.

Called Same Day Service Company on Wednesday afternoon and was told the first available time was on the following Monday. Since I was not in any particular hurry, that was okay. As I had requested, the technician called me after 11:00 AM and arrived at the house approximately 20 minutes later. After explaining the problem, it took him about 1 minute to diagnose the problem: a malfunctioning lid safety switch. He then quoted a repair price of about $200 which included the 10% discount coupon I had printed from Angie's list. I accepted the quote and he completed the repair in about 45 minutes. The technician was friendly and worked very professionally. I would certainly use Same Day Service again.

We had problems with the fridge and the guy who came out to fix it was just superb. They really know what they are doing. They usually come the next day when you call. They do come out the same day for any emergencies. Once I had an issue with the washing machine and it flooded the floor. They came right away and got it fixed.

Bill showed up at appointment time-very professional and very neat. Made us feel confident to use his company. If we need to we would use same day again.

Turns out no repair was needed. The Service man gave instructions on how to use the washing machine better. Both the tenant and I were great-full.

Although there was no emergency, an appointment with a technician was scheduled for the same day I called. The tech was a little late but he stayed long after regular hours to complete the repair. He also suggested that we have the people who service the reverse osmosis unit increase the PSI on the tank to ensure that water gets to the refrigerator.

They were awesome. They provided same-day service. I found them on Angie's List. The service people seemed to know what they were doing, which was nice. He was very knowledgeable.

The initial call was very satisfactory, in that they determined enough information so that the repairman did not need to charge a diagnostic fee. They sent him out to repair, that turned out not to be possible, they ordered the part and on the second visit it was installed. At each point the customer's time was treated as valuable and they coordinated their efforts to meet my schedule.

Excellent-knew the problem and ordered part(drum) and replaced in less than a week.

If I could give Same Day Service an overall A+, I would! On the afternoon of May 5, I called Sears, with whom we formerly had a service contract for the washer, to check out a persistent leak from the rubber gasket inside the door. The leak had started that same day. They stated it would be $139 for the service call, and they would not be able to schedule an appointment until two days later. After thinking this over, I decided to check out Angie's List, and found Same Day Service with an A rating. We called them on May 6 at approximately 2:30. Their service call price was $79 -- so $60 less than Sears! And they offered a 10% discount on parts and service to Angie's List customers. Two hours later -- by 4:30 that same afternoon -- Kevan was at our home. He was very pleasant, professional, and very quickly identified the source of the problem. The replacement part needed to be ordered and so he could not repair the washer that day. However, at 9:30 the next morning, Kevan called and let us know the part was in and he could come by to install it that afternoon. He arrived on time and promptly repaired the machine, and also installed the new hoses as I requested. Oh -- a note on the hoses. They were CLEARLY marked "Replace after 5 years." Sears had been doing their annual inspection of the machine from 2004 (the year after the machine was purchased) through 2008 (when the hoses would have been 5 years old). Their repair person NEVER pointed out that a) there is a superior steel-wrapped hose that is less prone to breaking; or b) this is something that should be done under the service contract at that point. We are very satisfied with the level of service, price and professionalism of Same Day Service. We will recommend them to others and call them again for large or small appliance repair!

They called me before they were going to arrive at my house and waited patiently outside for me to arrive. They were very professional and even disconnected my dryer so that I could clean behind it. The men that worked on my washer/dryer were amazing and I would use them again. One of the guys even helped get me get my dog that was under the car, which was above and beyond my expectations.

They arrived on time and were very professional. Bill made numerous inexpensive suggestions which would be beneficial to me, the customer. He had a replacement ice maker on board his truck cutting out unnecessary waiting time. He stayed until he was thoroughly satisfied with his job.Later that same evening a loud noise emitted fom the refigerator. Being on a weekend I promised to call early Monday. Upon calling was told the serviceman would be by later that day. I then noticed the noise had disappeared. I called to cancel and told the dispatcher of same and was thanked for my call. A few minutes later I received a call from Bill who requested to stop by to thoroughly check out the appliance to his own satisfaction. He and Kevin arrived only a half hour later and in spite of my embarasment of a perfectly silent refrigerator they pulled it out to duplicate the previous noise but repaired it in record time, cleaned up and refused payment. I would recommend this company to any and all in need of honest and true professionals.

We called Same Day Service to check out our too warm Sub Zero Fridge. They came out that same day. They were very courteous on the phone when I called to make the appointment and the gentlemen who came to do the work could not have been nicer. What a great company. We will definitely use them again in the future.

Called company and technician arrived that same day. Technician advised us of repair costs before repairing. Technician advised that after he repaired the dryer, due to safety reasons, he would have to disable the dryer until we called to have the excessive lint removed from the outlet vent to the roof. The excessive lint created a fire hazard in addition to overworking the dryer. We had the lint removed by Lint Busters (who removed a lot of lint). Same Day technician returned hours after Lint Busters left and re-enabled the dryer. Dryer works great!

Prompt and efficient service from booking to completion. Kevan was the service technician. He was polite, knowledgeable and efficient. He answered all questions patiently and comprehensively. I would definately call this company again.
