They were excellent. They knew their stuff, they were polite, and I would use them again.

Found cause of our non-heating gas clothes dryer, ordered needed parts, then came back in two days to complete repair. Then at no extra charge, fixed vent problem and cleaned up everything inside and out!

Bill was the technician who came. It was a same day service and he called before he came over to ask details so that he can possibly provide the information for me to be able to clean the oven on my own to avoid charges. Since the plastic went into the gas burner area, he came out and help me get it cleaned out.He got it done fast. He ordered the knob and informed me that it will be either mailed to me or delivered to me by him within a 5-8 days. He also provided me with additional information to care and clean my oven for future use. He was very professional and efficient.

I filled out the Service Request from on their website on Saturday for service/repair of my refrigerator. I was aware they do not perform service calls on weekends but I was ok with that since my problem didn't require immediate attention. To my surprise, 1/2hr after completing the request online, I got a phone call from their rep to schedule service. Scheduling on the weekends is a nice feature. The rep was very courteous and the appointment was confirmed for Monday before noon (estimated). I was promised a phone call from the repairman before he arrived. At about 9:30 Monday morning the repairman called and advised is ETA was 20 minutes. And 20 minutes later he arrived. Punctuality is awesome! The repairman was professional and very friendly! It took him only about an hour to diagnose and repair my refrigerator. Overall I was very satisfied with the service I received and will use them again and recommend them to others. I only gave them a and quot;Band quot; for price not because I believe they are more expensive than other providers, but because I think the whole appliance repair industry in general is overpriced.

Called in a.m. for ice maker repair. Promised same day service. Showed up about 7;30 which was OK as they had kept in touch. After examining, technician said not enough water entering IM. Gave 2 quotes, one to replace solenoid to correct water problem and one to replace entire system. I chose the first option because it was $200 cheaper. After replacing the solenoid, the tech then removed the ice maker to exam it. He ran the unit under a faucet to remove old ice and promptly fried the electronics because the seal protecting them was damaged, thus allowing water to enter. I told the tech to forget everything and leave it. Obviously he should have removed the ice maker before installing the solenoid in order to inspect for damage. I told the tech I didn't want to pay $276 for the solenoid replacement. He replied he was charging me $168 for the service call and labor. I have no issue with the $90 service call which was explained in advance, but I strongly object to the additional $78 because the tech didn't do his job correctly.

It went great. Bill, the and quot;Repairman Extraordinareand quot; of Same Day Service, fixed our ice maker quickly and with no drama. This guy can fix anything! We've used this company time and time again, with no complaints. Only compliments.

The company returned the call pretty quickly and said that they no longer repair Viking appliances and they would have to refer me to Viking. Anyone who has tried to deal with Viking knows that this is no solution. I thanked her for calling back but was very confused about the claim that they provided this service. I called back a second time after confirming on their website that they still claimed to service Viking. I suggested that they take this claim off of their site or at least mention in their recorded message that they no longer service Viking. She said that they only service Viking appliances of customers they already had. Confusing. I see from reviews that their service seems great. She said it takes a long time to revise the website. Well, no it doesn't. I am not trashing the company, just update the site so we can move on to find a Viking repair service.

Excellent timeliness, professionalism and performance. The dryer was fixed promptly and correctly.

Very prompt, courteous, and thorough service. He identified 2 very different problems. One was repaired on the spot, and the other required parts. I was able to get a price for the parts while he was still here which I appreciated. He was also very informative about things I'd not known that were contributing to my problem. Took his time, and covered all of my questions. I felt the price was fair, and received a 10% Angie's List discount .

My washer stopped working. I found my laundry soaking wet in the washing machine. I called them late morning and they showed up the same evening. They fixed my washer and was able to fish a penny out of our dryer. I'd use them again but ouch on the cost.

7/15 Bill was on time and professional. Showed me where machine was broken, I agreed to replace it, he called in to order ice maker. 7/17 Billed returned with Icemaker, installed it, cleaned my vents on fridge done in about 30 minutes. Machine is making ice and I am happy. Cost was a little more than I expected but I would use them again.

Although I was put off by having to call an 800 number to reach this company, that turned out to be the only concern I had. I called late, 4:30pm, on 7/3 and the appointment was made for 9 AM the next business morning which was 7/5 because of the 4th of July holiday. The service man called at 8:45 and arrived at 9:00. He arrived in a company truck, which is always reassuring, was in uniform and totally professional and nice. He immediately zeroed in on the problem and was able to fix it on the spot because he had a replacement fan for our Maytag model. I really appreciated how he showed me each step of the way what he was doing and explained why. He took the 10%Angie's list discount without me reminding him, gave me clear instructions on when and why to wait to reload the refrigerator, explained how to identify the problem earlier next time, and reminded me about the parts and labor warranties which seemed very adequate. I was extremely satisfied with Same Day Service Company and will call them again when a repair is needed.

I first noticed that my freezer blower seemed to be running non stop. I call another repair company to come out which they did on May 10th. They said that there was nothing wrong with the unit and that everything was just fine. I didn't really think that the blower should be running 24/7 but had no other choice than believe the service person. He said everything had checked out just fine when he connected his computer to the unit. The following Friday I noticed the temperature in the refrigerator side seeming to be going up. I called the original service company back to say there was something wrong and was told the earliest availabilty would be the following Tuesday. There was nothing else they could do. Not wanting to risk loosing everything in the frig and freezer I decided to find another company for a and quot;second opinionand quot;. After reading the reviews on Angie's List I contacted Same Day Service. From the start to the end the experience was excellent. They were able to schedule an appointment that day They were happy to have the service tech call me so that I would be able to meet him at the house, without having for me to take off work to wait for them. Bill called to let me know when he would be arriving as promised. Within minutes of waliking in the home he told me that something was not right and that the fan should not be running as long and hard as it had been. To make a long story short he removed all of the food from the freezer and then removed the back panel (something which the first service tech never bothered to do) and found the coils completely iced up. He defrosted the coils and installed the new automatic defroster unit and now everything is back to normal. He took his time to answer all of my questions and concerns. If I need any other appliances repaired Same Day Service will be the first company that I call. From start to finsh my experience was great.

The exterior of our refrigerator, particularly around the door seals on the freezer side were very hot and we called Same Day Appliance. We were doing things that day, and so scheduled an appointment for the next morning but an hour later, my wife smelled a burning scent. We unplugged the fridge and called Same Day back. They said Bill would get here by 3 and he did. He correctly diagnosed the problems and gave us a price. The parts to fix the cooling system problem arrived in two days and Bill came right out and installed them. In addition, my wife said the dishwasher sounded funny and Bill checked it and found part of a toothpick hitting the spray arm. No charge. The part for the ice dispenser came a few days after and Bill made another trip to install that. No charge for the additional trip. We are very satisfied and would call them if we have other problems. a

The repairman was on time. He called before arriving to let me know when he was on his way. He was professional the entire time and explained everything about what was wrong with my washer.

The experience was great from start to finish. Always professional and courteous even when my 5 kids were inundating him with, well, little kid questions.

Our dryer wouldn't start one morning a few days before Christmas. We joined Angie's List and called Same Day Service based on their reviews. The person who took my call explained that she would have a technician call ASAP. The repair technician, Bill, arrived within the hour. He spent a couple of hours here diagnosing the problem. As it turns out, we only paid for the service call because we decided that our dryer was not worth repairing. Bill explained everything, broke down the problem, showed us what was wrong. He gave us the price we would pay to repair the dryer, which was more than the dryer was worth. He even recommended a few brands. Bill was prompt, polite and friendly. He obviously knew exactly what he was doing, went right to work and never stopped until the diagnostic was complete. There were all kinds of holiday preparations going on here, but it never felt like Bill was in the way. He cleaned up the area where he had been working--which was covered in lint--and left our house as neat as he had found it. We have so often had people out to the house to fix something and wondered if they really know what they're doing, if we can trust what they say, if they're trying to sell us something we don't need. With Same Day Service we had no question about their qualifications or honesty. We would definitely use this company in the future and recommend Same Day Service to our friends. Even though we'll have to buy a new dryer, it was worth it to subscribe. Angie's List has already paid for itself!

The technician came at the expected time, stayed about 2 hours, had the parts he needed in his truck and made the repairs.

I found the whole experience with Same Day Service very pleasant and pleasing. My tenant called late morning to let us know that the refrigerator was not cooling. Seeing I did not have a company to call I called Sears seeing it was a Kenmore, the operator said that she would not be able to have anyone come until Thursday, this was unexceptable to me so I went directly to Angies List, as I have been able to find great tech's through Angies List. I picked Same Day Service as they had excellent reviews and I found out that they lived up to the praise. The lady I spoke to was very friendly and was able to accommodate me as the residents were working and would not be home until after 2:00 pm. Ken the tech called me 15 min before he would be at the house so I could meet him, we arrived at the house at the same time and Ken was friendly and very professional. He explained what was wrong in detail and also gave me the cost, he also explained that he would install the started relay first before installing the others and test it and if it did not registered the right level he would advise me not to repair but to buy a new rerfrigerator which I appreciated as many would have install with out telling you the truth. Ken installed all parts and even cleaned the condenser and advised me that the condenser should be cleaned every three months. We have many rentals and I think I have found a company to service all our properties appliances. Ken did a great job and the name fits them to a tee Same Day Service and I feel that they have great customer service which seems to be missing in today's business world.

The ice-maker in our freezer quit making ice. My wife phoned the Same Day Service Co Inc late in the afternoon, and they were, indeed, and quot;same day serviceand quot;. The repairman arrived early the same evening. He examined the ice-maker and quickly determined the problem. Then he went to Home Depot, bought a replacement-part, and came right back and repaired the ice-maker. He waived the estimate-cost, $75.00, IIRC (not sure), when he did the repair. IIRC (again, not sure--it was about 1and1/2 years ago), the whole cost was approximately$175.00, including the part. He was very professional, courteous, and friendly. The day before I was to have company, my upstairs AC went out. This company was on it immediately, even loaning me a spare part until mine came in. They saved my weekend!

The repairman fixed the problem, started the dishwasher and made sure the heater worked. Very professional. He noted I was an Angie List and gave me a discount without me asking.

I like that I was able to use my credit card. The appliance is working and I have no complains with them.
