Description of Work: Bill fixed our washer, he was courteous, professional and nice demeanor, we felt comfortable with him in our home, the only thing that would have made the experience exceptional would have been if I could have had an ETA instead of having to wait all day, but must say other than that, this company was a pleasure to deal with

+ -1 moreOverall, the work was done and there were no problems from that standpoint. Subjectively, the guy was too casual, too chatty, and less professional for our tastes. I'd hire the company again, but would prefer to use a different serviceman next time.
Description of Work: Our Thermador dishwasher was not cycling correctly. The serviceman quickly determined the problem to be a circuit board. They ordered a replacement circuit board and then installed it about one week later.

+ -1 moreOverall, it went very well. Service tech was timely, professional and courteous. I had almost used a different, well-known, service company that had given me a quote of around $230 and wanted to do more than needed, as it turned out. For various reasons, I did not use them. I went with Same Day instead. They came out, on time, spent about an hour. The tech explained everything and was in and out in a good amount of time. The price was only slightly higher than the first company's quote. The fridge has worked great since--wonderful since I like the fridge and certainly didn't want to spent MUCH more on a new one. I was very happy with the overall experience (except for the fact that I needed the repair in the first place).

+ -1 moreI moved my refrigerator from one home to another. It started to leak coolant after we started to use it in the new home. It slowly became less and less cool. It sounded like to me to be a leak. Just before the repairman showed up, which was only a few hours after my call, I asked him if he had coolant with him. He stated the company will not refill the refrigerators but recommend we buy a new one. I decided not to pay for the service call to get advice I did not want. I found another company that would do the work needed.

They called before they came; they were professional and nice and seemed to know what they were doing. I was pleased with the service. I paid $230 and that might have been a little high, but I was generally pleased with the service.

+ -1 moreI called the company late afternoon on Wednesday. They stated they would be here the next day. I requested after 1 pm. I received a call at around 2:30 pm on Thursday that due to an emergency they would not be here until Friday. Repairman arr. Friday afternoon, checked dryer, found defective part, replaced it, explained what the problem was and tested the machine. He also, at no extra charge, repaired the dryer vent which had a kink in it. Beyond that he also gave me a 10% discount because of the one day delay. I was very pleased with the quality of service. The price was not unreasonable, Kevan was very polite and professional, and the dryer now works better than it ever has.
Description of Work: Found defective drive assembly. Replaced drive assembly, tested normal.

+ -1 moreThis was a most pleasant experience. I would hire this company for all appliance repairs. They also have a warranty program that we are going to purchase for our appliances. Having a dishwasher after fighting with an insurance co for 7 months is great. They also settled when I told them I was using ANGIE'S LIST, and taking them to samll claims court. What did they have to STAND ON MY DISHWASHER IS WORKING AND IS PROPERLY INSTALLED. Thank You.
Description of Work: They repaired a dishwasher that our home warranty company, First American Home Buyers Protection Co had said was not broken for 7 months. We did not have a dishwasher. Our repairman took the time and tested all his normal test, then proceeded to take the dishwasher apart until he found the faulty part. This took a lot of time and effort on his part. After a lot of work, he finally found what was wrong an aux pump flapper was broke. The valve had come loose, was lost and the part had to be ordered. He cleaned up after himself and was very courteous. He was extremely knowlegdeable about what he was doing. The problem with a lot of repairs that are done so inadequately, is that there is a lack of training and not really caring if the job is done well or not. So rarely do we see someone really get into the nuts and bolts of a problem these days. I feel really fortunate we did, because now after fighting with the insurance co for 7 months, I have a dishwasher that works.

+ -1 moreI have a thirty-year-old Maytag washer and dryer and there has never been a problem until a few months ago. My dryer wasnt working properly so I called Same Day Service in the afternoon and they were here the next day. The service man was running a few minutes late with my appointment so he called to let me know he was on his way. This is a mobile home, my dryer is in a very awkward spot to get at, and the serviceman was very good to get things done in this small area. He replaced the belt, cleaned everything up and checked things over very thoroughly. I am pleased with the servicemans work, but the price did seem a little high.
Description of Work: My thirty year old Maytag dryer was giving me a problem, so I called Same Day Service Company to have a look. The service man replaced the belt, cleaned things over thoroughly while doing a complete maintenance check.

+ -1 moreSame Day Service Company really took me to the cleaners. They did not live up to their advertising of same day repair work as it took two days to get the part in. After supposedly repairing my washer, I had to have them come back as it still was not working properly. Again I had to wait to get the part in and I also had to pay more money. Now my washer does work, however I think I could have just bought a new machine for the money I spent to fix this one. I also did not like the fact that they tried to sell me a service contract. I would not recommend this company.

+ -1 moreSame Day Service Company did a really good job fixing my refrigerator. I thought that I needed a new refrigerator and told him that. He looked at it and told me I didnt need a new one at all. It was a minor repair and was able to get it fixed up in just a few minutes. Since he had to charge me a service call, he went ahead and cleaned it all up for me. I thought that he was a very nice man and very honest. It has worked great every since.
Description of Work: They repaired my refrigerator; the gasket around the door was not sealing properly.
