Description of Work: Diagnosed and returned after ordering part to install new washing machine motor on 7yr old Kenmore.

Description of Work: Had leaking refrigerator. Turned out to be a clogged drain. They cleaned the drain and installed a part to prevent a reoccurrence.

Description of Work: Complaint was that the oven door would not close properly. Discovered that the hinges had been slightly bent. Technician Bill, discovered the problem and straightened the hinges. He quickly checked with suppliers and found these particular hinges are no longer available. His fix saved us a major expense of buying a new oven and having it installed. Very reasonable considering what the cost could have been.

Description of Work: Had just moved to house and found that icemaker was not working. I read the instruction manual and was unable to fix myself. Called Same Day at about 9AM and a repairman (Bill) was at the house by 11:30. He diagnosed the problem (gears had worn out) and installed a new icemaker in less than an hour. He also checked out fridge and cleaned coils and condenser. Bill was very personable and professional, answering all of my questions. Machine appears to be working well and we are very satisfied. Will use again and would recommend!

Description of Work: Our smoke detectors all went off at once on Saturday, April 6, about noon. After realizing that we could not get contro; ourselves we called TopNotch Electric which must be the ad name for Same Day Service Company. Within a half hour Carlos arrives, quickly climbed the ladder and assessed each smoke detector. He told us that three of the units had two bare wires each and proceded to fix them immediately. He was fast, clean, polite and thorough. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thanks, Carlos!!

Description of Work: Technician diagnosed a problem with stovetop. Part replacement was quoted @ $442.57 to repair the stovetop. I felt something was wrong with that quote. Paid them $80.00 service charge. Called another company out. Diagnosed a crimped wire and simply repaired it. NO parts required. Also estimated a repair on a microwave door spring - quoted parts - $360.24. Second company replaced the same spring for Half that cost. May 7, --- Customer service person/manager refunded the service charge

Description of Work: Called out because refrigerator was "not working" according to house sitter. Freezer compartment had frost build up blocking fan. The technician diagnosed the problem correctly. I defrosted the refrigerator and when the next technician came to replace the fan they were quick and efficient. Problem solved

Description of Work: My built in refrigerator quit cooling. Same Day came out on a Sunday within a reasonable time frame. Two techs came out; looked at my fridge and said I needed to replace the compressor, evaporator and fan. Price would be $1,895. For this information I had to pay $79.95. I was able to get my refrigerator repaired for 1,300. Big savings.
