They did a good job of blowing all the fallen leaves out of the rocks in my front yard. They did a big job awhile back in the back yard where they trimmed everything and removed all the dead stuff: $400. Not cheap but they do good work.

OMG! the work they did was so amazing. the back yard before was just dirt with some big rocks. I wanted it just cleaned up for my dogs (tea cup Chihuahua and my Pomeranian) he said that would be no problem and asked aout synthetic grass he suggested that was not the right option for me and suggested some simple lake stone and sand for the potty areas. he really canalized every aspect of my back yard and situation in his mind INSTEAD OF just spewing out redicoukdous ideas like other landscapers. my gate was also an issue and I really had no clue and how to fix these issues without looking like and oasis. clean. simple. I talked to Lynn the day before on the phone and she sent him out for a quote. the same day.just a couple of hours later. We talked about the work like said and he said $450. after talking to other landscapers he was the cheapest by FAR. and may I add the nicest. He leveled the ground out in the sand the stone trimmed the front yard bushes I could go on and on. AMAZING.

We have 1/4 acre - fully landscaped front and back yards. We wanted all bushes trimmed (excluding fan palms) and full blowing of tons of debris under the bushes. They gave a very fair price (compared to other quotes) and set a date 1 week later to perform the work. They said they would arrive around 8:30am - they actually arrived at 7:45, but were so quite, working on their hands and knees that I didn't even hear them. 3 workers total It rained that morning so I was worried they would not be able to blow as much as we needed. I had to leave the house and when I returned 2 hours later they were still going strong, blower included. I was surprised at the piles of debris they had uncovered. More than 4 hours of work later, we had trimmed, manicured plants throughout (and again, we have a LOT of bushes)! They were all polite, well spoken and even trimmed our front courtyard, which we did not mention when they quoted us. Ruiz Landscaping went above and beyond our expectations and YES, we will recommend and use them again, and again.

They were scheduled for July 4th. They never showed up, but still sent us a bill. The owner finally came and halfway did the yard. I asked him to trim the leaves on a tree. He said he could do it for another $50.00. He then told my husband he wasn't coming back.

Overall, from the time we met with the owner to discuss the various programs offered by Ruiz Landscaping and the work done has been excellent. All the work outlined in the contract has been done and some additional work at no charge. Overall, the experience to date has been great and I would recommend Ruiz Landscape to my neighbors. Do seek other estimates if there is to be work done outside those items contained in the contract.

I requested an estimate for landscaping. Part of the estimate they gave me was for an 11 x 18 Patio. I had plans drawn up already for the front yard, and it specifically stated that I did not need an estimate for concrete. I got one anyway, for $2,000! This is for a and quot;broom finishand quot; concrete slab, which is on Craigslist by licensed concrete contractors everyday, for $530. I was embarrassed, and didn't have the guts to tell him he was way, WAY overboard on his pricing. He then offered to drop his total price by $500. Honestly, I don't get it. The price they came up with for the other work was about 25% higher than the rest, which is fine, if that's the price they charge. However, to ask me to pay over $1,300 MORE for work I didn't request is just wrong. I don't want to and quot;bargainand quot; for a realistic price, like perhaps they do in Mexico. I want an honest bid, and if your price is too high I will deal with it. But, please don't try and upsell me with something almost three times what it should cost, especially when I did NOT request it to begin with. Bottom line, Angie's list users, DON'T even bother asking these guys to come out for an estimate. If they are THAT dishonest with their pricing, then it's a waste of time. I am going with Ken's Landscaping. They had the LOWEST bid, and he was willing to go with me to the nursery to pick out plants and rocks. And, there's no language barrier.

They did a good job. The first time, we paid pretty well. They gave us a big deal. They did a lot of work; they did a whole yard clean up. The next time I wanted to use them, I did not think I needed as much work, but they still wanted to charge me as much, so, I did not go back to them. I would use them again in the future if they give me a good price.

They have done phenomenal work. They got right back to me after I called them. They came out and gave me an excellent price. I had several bids, which were in line with his bid, but he does much better work. My overall experience is A+! The quality of work was excellent. They were phenomenally professional. The guy who runs the company comes out and checks on his crew. He has even talked to me a couple of times to make sure everything was going well.
