Description of Work: General handyman work done, They were great! Excellent Job, very timely! All the things he said he was going to do HE DID! Good service!

Description of Work: I have used Rick's services twice, so far. He replaced 3 chandeliers; installed new headboard in master bedroom; changed headboard in guest room. I will be using him again shortly for other projects.

Description of Work: Many fixes around the house. I will use his services again.

Description of Work: Rick, of RPJ Industries, replaced our leaking garbage disposal. Our first call to Rick was just shortly before Christmas, after we discovered water all over the bottom of the cupboard beneath the sink, and it seemed the water was coming from the bottom of the garbage disposal. There was no answer when we first called, but he returned our call very quickly. He was actually out of town, visiting family for Christmas and STILL took the time to return our call. He told us he would be back in town the day after Christmas and would come out at that time. In the meantime, we just kept a bucket under the disposal to get by. And the reason we decided to wait for him to come out instead of using someone else, was that the other individual we called wanted to charge us $216 PLUS the cost of the disposal and required power cord....as opposed to Rick's quote of $180 for the entire job, including parts and labor. So....when Rick came to our house right on time on 12/26, we discovered that the leak had magically ceased, there was no additional water in our collection bucket, and the only thing he could see as a possible source for the leak was that one of the pipe connection nuts was loose. He charged us the $80 minimum fee and left. Why the disposal stopped leaking is anyone's guess, but at least he was honest enough to tell us he didn't feel we needed to replace it, thereby saving us the additional $100. A couple weeks later, we discovered water all over the bottom of the cupboard again, and this time, there was no question whatsoever that the disposal was the culprit. Rick made an appointment to come back out, was very apologetic that the problem wasn't diagnosable on the first trip, and charged us only the actual cost of the new disposal and power cord.....and he actually showed us the receipt for the parts to assure us we weren't being charged one dime more than the actual cost. I don't think anyone could ask for treatment any more honest than what we received from RJP. The disposal is working just dandy, and there are no more leaks.

Description of Work: RPJ was one of 3 quotes I needed before deciding who I would hire. There were no problems, just liked another vendor better.

Description of Work: Repaired, textured, and painted large cut-out drywall areas left by plumbers. Painted and installed replacement baseboards in a few rooms.

Description of Work: We sold our house and had several issues from a home inspection that needed to be addressed. In 2011 we had and issue where a cabinet had to be repaired due to water damage.

Description of Work: $625 was for labor only. We also paid for various supplies, parts and materials. Fixed so many thing that I lost track, including Removed an old shower door and installed a new one, fixed plumbing to refrigerator, installed two faucets, repaired and reinstalled molding on garage door, installed decorative rings for ceiling pot lights, installed new valves and supply lines to several toilets, installed new toe kick for counter under sink. In addtion to the work he did that we paid him for he also hired a licensed plumber friend of his to replace the main supply valve and replace a bad drain -- This was additional and Rick just passed through the very reasonable additional charge. He did some other stuff too, but I don't have the list anymore.

Description of Work: We had water damage from a faulty valve on an ice maker and as a result we needed to replace some behind the cabinet drywall and replace the cabinet end panels.

Description of Work: Rick put in a door for us in our master bedroom. He did a great job -- really, really nice guy who did a great job at a great price.

Description of Work: Rick installed three hanging lamps and 4 flush mount lighting fixtures. One of the hanging lamps was about 15-20' up on a stairwell.
